Went with a 3 friends (one from Brazil :) for a Saturday lunch. We all agreed the food was fantastic.

Servers came around often with new meats to indulge in (all great - my favorite was the Parmesan crusted steak). We ordered two desserts to share afterwards, also highly recommended & each one was for sure enough to share.

Tips:

1) Wait until you've had your fill of meat to enjoy the carbs placed on your table or the buffet (both very good, but definitely fillers).

2) If you have a favorite meat, be persistent in requesting it. I asked for more of the Parmesan crusted steak, waited 20 minutes and it didn't come. Another friend asked, still didn't come after an additional 20 minutes. My friend from Brazil called a server over and spoke to him in Portugese (I didn't understand the words she said but the tone she used sounded aggressive to me. However, she said it's a cultural norm/necessity if you want to be taken seriously). After her conversation with the server, the Parmesan crusted steak was at our table in less than 5 minutes. (Still - be aggressive, but not rude/disrespectful.)

Overall, would go again and recommend to others.

Mr. Pablo, they ran me from their restaurant without any justification. I would like to know why only the manager can know that there are people working in my place who do not have the experience that I have and it does not mean that I am better than them but this is about preference and I don't work because there are people who have a lot of time working there in their restaurant and that is why they give more preference than one who goes to work and not to waste time but catalog the Bern brother is not for making him look bad but me I have been working on this for 15 years and they have months of having arrived and they give me more preference than me just because they are your brother Don Pablo if you are consistent, you will be able to understand a good day ... !!!

Great, welcoming service and the food was very much worth the visit. Each serving of meat was deliciously prepared.

Only minor problem I had was that the hosts forgot about the birthday notification that was given to them, so we almost left without any acknowledgement of the event until they were reminded again.

MEAT MEAT MEAT! There is no shortage of it here and though the meat admission fee is quite pricey at roughly $57/person for dinner, you will and you MUST get your money's worth as this place is all-you-can-eat!

My personal favorites are the sirloin steak, chicken heart and grilled pineapple. I could eat just plates of that and be completely happy with my meal. But they offer other cuts of meat ranging from chicken covered in garlic, filet mignon, New York steak, lamb, and the list goes on. They also have a superb salad bar that is also all-you-can-eat.

I have celebrated numerous birthday celebrations here, both in big group and intimate gatherings, and the service is consistently top notch. Espetus, you had me at hello.

Korean-inspired Mexican cuisine, what can go wrong.

The Big Ricardo (wet CA burrito with bulgogi and topped with a fried egg) - This is HUGE! And of course contains a ton of my favorite things like tots and bulgogi. Enjoyable but extremely messy.
Tacorea Kimchi Burrito - I think this was by far the most disappointing. All one note. It was essentially wet kimchi fried rice wrapped in tortilla. The burrito fell apart pretty quickly.

Very popular and small joint, so you may have to wait around for a place to eat or just take it to go.

A meat lover's heaven! Great service and choices of cuts. It is a pricey place but that's expected for the all you can eat in MEAT! Their side dishes are also abundant, of great quality and flavorful.

Go early because parking is scarce. Its also located on a busy corner. We ended up parking in an alley next to a homeless encampment, directly across the street from the restaurant.

I went here for VALENTINE'S!! I have eaten here 2 years ago and I liked it alot !! When i first came here. I thought they had great customer service and the food was very good. So this year on VALENTINE'S I went here to eat! They were very busy on this day! I made a reservation for 10:00 PM. I went there 30mins early and I waited inline to be seated and my wait was about 30mins which wasn't to bad for VALENTINE'S day. The Brazilian Steak House has a different way that they serve you. You sit at a table order your drink and then you go get your side orders. You fix it your self ! You can basically say it's like a all you can eat 5star restaurant! They walk around bringing all different cuts of beef , chicken and shrimp! If you want more if the side you go get that your self . They had great customer service that night even when they were very busy which I thought was great. They also served all the ladies Red Rose's that nice , thought that was so nice of them. My experience here was great I will definitely be coming back here to eat again.

This was my first time at a Brazilian steak house and I loves it. Me and my boyfriend were close to the kitchen so all the food we had was fresh and hot. The top sirloin was melt in your mouth delicious.

Espetus in my honest opinion is worth the money ! The staff is excellent . I always try my best to be kind and polite towards the staff, and sometimes you can tell when they're just "trying to be nice" but the staff here seems very genuine. The food was awesome, and so was the salad bar. If you've never been here, it's definitely worth it. Small date, friend gathering, birthday. Whatever the event is!

As one of the best restaurants in San Francisco for decades, Espetus does NOT disappoint. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with courtesy and hospitality. There isn't really a menu. You're there for one thing; Meat. It's a carnivores dream. The salad and feijoada bar is great, but the main attraction is the neverending swords full of steak, pork, chicken, and even ribs. The service is wonderful. The general manager stopped by our table, not once, but twice to make sure we were having a good time. It's not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Espetus for anyone who is looking to plan a memorable evening in San Francisco.

Great Service, Good Ambiance, the meat servers were very quick to offer meats. There was no large delay between meats. However I could not give 5 stars due to some of the meats were too salty.

As a midwestern-raised girl: god bless this place....

As a midwestern-raised girl: god bless this place. This is no Old Country Buffet. This is a true SF-style buffet (think quinoa at the salad bar) and tender slices of meat, but you can definitely feed a midwestern appetite here.

As a girl raised by a Chinese mother: okay you're at a buffet - so how to maximize value? When you sit down, you're probably pretty decently hungry. You are first invited to go fill up at the salad bar (a must, because that's where you get the plate to consume the food).

Don't. Go. Crazy.

Don't go fill up that plate with everything delicious looking at the bar (paella, sauteed eggplant, spinach salad, quinoa with cranberries, rice, fish, etc.) Then when you get back to the table, don't eat all the delicious carb-alicious appetizers they sit in front of you (fried plaintains, cheesy bread, etc.) Because you're going to want to fill up on meat. Or at least I did. Sorry, but I was brought up to only eat the lobster, fish, and shrimp at any buffet. Basically, I'm not popular at buffets.

There's a little circle in front of you that's a dial that goes green for "yes meat" and red for "no I'm stuffed". Now turn that dial to GREEN.

Meat will come every two minutes. Savor and eat. Then wait. Then keep going. You'll get chicken sausage (good), filet mignon (good), garlic butter steak (omgomgomg), sirlon steak (kinda chewy), etc.

Oh and no shrimp and other stuff at lunch. So FYI the lunch menu is a bit more limited.

PS - Service is ON POINT. I spilled some coffee and a waiter immediately noticed and brought me soda water to clean up my skirt. Within seconds. Amazing.

Wow this is a nice place to go.It is amazing. The bathrooms are super clean, the waiters and servers are polite and friendly. The food is fresh, well cooked and served hot.If you love meat and salard here is an awesome place to go.Parking was not too hard, just drive around and you will find a place.Meters charge around $2.50/hr.
If you don't want to wait in line, i will recommend you make a reservation over the phone before going.
Price: Hey it is little bit pricey but it is worth it.For dinner expect to pay about $70 per person and tip not included. If you are in a tight budget, lunch will be highly recommended because you can eat mostly the same meal at the price of $40 or little bit more.
Overall you will enjoy this place.Definitely we will be back with friends and family members.

I love meat and I'm willing to spend big on good food, but I didn't find the offerings here to be worth the cost (even after a second visit). There is much better food to be had nearby for less than $50 a head.

We saw the sign for this place on the freeway over and over again. Finally decided to try it and I'm so glad we did!! It's become our favorite special occasion restaurant. The service is incredible, the meat is delectable and the iced tea is spectacular! Well worth the higher cost and we never feel rushed!

If only this place is in a better location.

If only this place is in a better location.

You cannot go weong with food and great customer service here, however, it is just a pain going here.
This is just like every other great places in the city where parking is scarce, plus it is in a very very busy streets of SF.

So prepare and give yourself plenty of time when you reservations, for you will waste your time looking for parking.

Suggest to uber here or get dropped off

Three of us made reservations for 7 o clock on Saturday night when we got there we were greeted very nicely and were able to sit right away. I have been there at least seven times before and I have always had a good experience but I had not been there in over a year. The buffet which used to be very good seem to be lacking in Quality product to where it was noticeable to me it wasn t the same as before. So I was quite disappointed. We got the barbecued meat as before and like the buffet the quality of meat and the varieties of meat were not as good as before. All the waiters and waitresses were very helpful very nice very polite but it seems as though something has changed from before. The meat was overcooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside so it seems they were trying to keep up with the customers but they cooking that meat too close to the flames. We had a good time I was just disappointed in the quality of the food. On the way out I talked to them the head waiter and told him how I felt and he appreciated it so I hope it will help them in the future to be quality conscience again.

I'm a pescaterian, the only meat I eat is seafood. I wanted to be with the family, so I agreed to come. The buffet / salad bar had plenty for me to be happy! I still had to pay the same price as the meat eaters, it's easier for them.
The staff was extremely attentive.

Just want to post my thoughts about Espetus Restau...

Just want to post my thoughts about Espetus Restaurant in San Francisco. My wife and I visited there yesterday afternoon after picking up my sister-in-law from the airport. She is visiting us in Livermore from Mexico for a week. I thought it a great idea to take her to Espetus for lunch. It was my 3rd or 4th time there.

First let me say that Espetus is just not another restaurant. Dining at Espestus is an "Experience," not just another place where to go eat. The owner is a very amicable person. a very kind and sweet person. She is so welcoming. The food is always fantastic, the atmosphere is very unique, and the employees very warm and catering. There is no surprise that Espetus is one of my favorite places to have some good eats!

My goal now is to make it at least a monthly experience. I always enjoy myself there. I would highly recommend Espetus to anyone. And it is not just because of the food, yet because of the warmth of the people who make Espetus what it is.
