This place has better prepared steaks than the newer Fogo. It uses charcoal. The ambiance is relaxed. The salad bar was recently upgraded and the rice and beans are as good as in Brazil.

Enjoyed a great dinner with my husband. The host was friendly and professional. The restaurant was busy considering it was a Saturday evening. Been to a lot of restaurants and hands down the tuna tar tare was one of the best! very fresh and tasty. attentive service. Our dinner was delicious its a breath of fresh air coming here there's not a lot of good resultants in Carlsbad and this is definitely a place you'll love to stop at! :) you won't regret it

Fantastic service and amazing food. The pork belly was crispy and light and one of the steak cuts had a smoky almost citrus marinade, just amazing! The salad was soo good, lots of options. I specially loved the chicken stroganoff, creamy and delicious. We absolutely loved this restaurant and can t wait to visit San Francisco again to go to it again!

Went here for dinner the other night and wow, just wow. It was my first time at an all you can eat steak house. All of the meats and (sides) were amazing. Friendly staff and environment. I'm already planning on coming back.

My favorites were the shrimp, garlic steak, bacon wrapped filet mignon & chicken...

This place was heavenly, it was also pricey, but worth every penny. It's a +1 to my fogo de chau experiences. Certainly will go here again. Great meat, great service great everything. You do get what you pay for.

Wow, this was a great choice. Just fantastic. No one in our group had anything negative to say. I tried 5 of the more than a dozen meat choices and they were all amazing, perfectly done. The sides bar had some really tasty choices, the staff was attentive. I've tried some of the well-known steak houses here in SF but none of them are as good as this. This is a special place.

If you like a little bit of everything, this is your place. My favorite was the tri-tip, which was so tender and flavorful. The Purim (flan) was delicious, as well. No lamb at lunch, however, so I must go again for dinner.

if you have the $$$ to pay down here, it is worth it. Come on an empty stomach, save room for the amazing parmesan rolls, and don't forget the grilled pineapple for digestion help! You will need it after all that amazing meat!

Unless you're Takeru Kobayashi or you're training for some IFOCE contest, you will want to carefully consider a strategy before going into this experience:

1) Gorge myself with food and try to beat the 15-20 minute mark where the stomach begins to feel sensations of fullness.
2) Find a favorite meat and continually ask for it while eating slowly.

One would think the second strategy would be best, but the guachos tend to take their sweet time coming around during busy hours and you might only get 3 chances in a 2 hour stretch for a particular meat. The ribeye tends to be the most popular. In addition, the last time I visited my party was actually asked to leave around the 2 hour mark so they WILL usher you out if you try to make a third and fourth meal out of one sitting. If you're popping your Espetus cherry, then I'd say go for strategy 1, but beware I was completely knocked out within 5 minutes of leaving the food restaurant.

The degree to which the meats are cooked are very inconsistent so I've been told if you go earlier in the night they tend to cook things to the more medium rare side while the late evening crowd will enjoy over-cooked skewers.

Vacant street parking can get a little hard to find in the area, so plan accordingly.

Had an reservation, arrived early, was placed in the walk in queue, so wasn't seated until a hour later and a conversation with a manager. Although the servers were walking around with the steaks they were ALL cooked rare, with extensive waits for anything else
