This place has 2 scary rides I just went on and about peed myself lol

Very , very disappointed !!!! Drove 3 hours to get here. Booked tickets , parking , food , and cabana days in advance. Got to the park at 10:45 , at 11:45 we hear a message over the intercom . They r closing at 12 b/c of the inclement weather. Been looking at the radar , sure it's cloudy - that's one reason we wanted to come today. But nothing else. A 40 to 50 percent chance of rain. It's summer , that's everyday !!!! So we asked a young girl who was working the cabanas why was it closing ? She slipped up and said well we are not busy today either. Nice! Manager said we could get a refund for the cabana but only a rain check for everything else. He also said the people at the ticket booth was telling people as they were coming in that it was closing at 12. That's completely untrue !!!! We wouldn't even have wasted our time if we were told that.
Nothing had opened, we had paid for our souvenir cups and couldn't even get them. Very disappointed in the management of this place. Very juvenile.

I usually love this place its tons of fun! However I will give the heads up. Twice I've gone and it was cloudy with a little drizzle and they were closed due to "weather"! Seemed completely unnecessary to me both times especially considering all the local pools were open. And to top it all off it NEVER EVEN RAINED!!!!! Just drizzled a tiny bit

A great place for a family vacation. Ample parking, good service. Lifeguards are everywhere.

First of all everything is ridiculously expensive, secondly my tube flipped on one of the rides so the park staff spent the rest of the day threatening to kick my friends and I out. The park then proceeded to lie to us multiple times about having "photographic evidence" of us intentionally flipping the tube which we did not. The park wasted an hour and a half of our time to threaten and lie to us overall if you want to go to a water park I would recommend a different one than this waste of time and money.

I will never come here again. They will charge you twice on your card. Like they did me.. Deny entry due to small parking lot.. GM is unprofessional and rude. Poor management and customer service...

When you get your season pass, make sure you have a paper receipt, email ones don't count

I don't even know how to describe the visit we had... I'll never go back... I will say at least the kids all seemed to be sweet and were having fun with each other, not the adults though... they were ghetto and acted so inappropriately. A lady (of course wet swimsuit, we are talking about a water park) sat on my towel that was in a chair with my beach bag, she then used my towel to dry off her crouch area, like all the way... I was fine with the sitting there but once she started drying off with my towel, and then the friend going through my bag I was done. Through the towel in the trash and grabbed my bag and kids and left.

Fun for the whole family.

We went on a weekday and loved it. At the end of the day we upgraded to season passes and returned every day that week. This is one of our new summer hot spots.

Rides are pretty fun and all, but the staff are terrible, rude, and have no sense of customer service. Also overcrowded and everything s expensive.

Emerald Point is Clean with friendly staff,managers, and life guards. I bought super saver tickets at Costco & it included a refilable drink mug. .99cent refills. Even with the cup included it was still a few bucks cheaper. I also purchased a parking pass. If you plan on going 4 times, you got your monies worth on the parking pass. You only need to go to the park twice to get
MORE than your monies worth. It did not get 5 stars because ALL the food is unsafe for people with peanut and tree nut allergies. Even the pizza is manufactured in a facility with peanuts and tree nuts.

I went to wet n wild a few years back with my sister and her boyfriend. My sister and her boyfriend got cut up on the water slide. Y'all need to fix that I don't know if you have improved some stuff in the water park but people don't wanna be getting on water slides to wear they gone get cut up on. I didn't get on because something told me not to. But yes y'all really need to improve some stuff around there. I like the pool though but that water slide did it right there.

The food stands don't open till around noon or whenever they feel like it, the smoking area had no one at any point to serve any drinks, one ride was down, don't waste your money if your overweight (I am) the rides have a weight limit and although I was fine for single rides...me and my partner could not ride together because of the weight limit.
It's really overall a waste of money.....I could have ran through the sprinkler and had more fun for less money.

Great price if you order tickets before you go and the water park is full of exciting slides.

Always a fun place to visit lil pricy for single parent families

Ticket sales online fail to mention in order to receive discounts on tickets one must purchase tickets online. When you arrive at the park and ride but discounted tickets, one is told they must pay full price admission!! In addition, there's no mention of senior citizen discount tickets. It's trickery not to add this info. To their website. More areas with umbrellas are needed. When it's 95-100 degrees, the pavement produces unbearable heat. Not everyone who visits the park is there to sun bathe. Some people must limit their sun exposure, but who love being at a water park. We noticed some area near wave pool/cabanas is being built with tables and umbrellas GREAT IDEA. Add about 4-5 more umbrellas at the wave pool area. There is plenty of room to do so. We enjoyed our visit but the cost for a small scoop of ice cream is OUTRAGEOUS. With the high costs for all you offer, please open more than one entrance gate and pay your employees more than $7.25 per hour!!

You pay good money for the cavanas, all dirty and nothing nice about it, you get a server wich takes over an out to get your order, i dont recomend it, very high prices as well for food or drinks..

Best to get season pass. Tons of fun if they aren't packed

Pretty solid waterpark I went their last year the only problem is the food is expensive so is gift store and you might want to get there early because the lines get longer.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Did we have a good time yes. But the place is small. I'm from Miami and I'm use to water parks from Orlando which are twice the size of this one especially the parking lot. The parking lot when you arrive is a disaster no one is directing traffic and all the cars are going in every direction into a very small lot. Getting out at the end of the day was about a half hour ordeal. Inside the park there are several slides with really long lines for a very short slide and the biggest attraction slides were closed down so we were all crammed into one section of the park. Seating was very difficult to find and the pricing of food was outrages. We ended bringing a cooler with lunch which we had to leave in the car because they charge you to hold your cooler and sit in there dining area. We had to exit the park to get our cooler and eat outside of the park. If you've never been to a water park then definitely check this place out but me I'll stick to my Orlando water parks.

Very expensive entrance. $ 10 parking and $ 45 entry per person. Children of 8 years old already count as an adult and pay the same. I do not return to this place again.

Muuuy expensive also do not let anything enter everything you have to buy ahy inside and very expensive everything I do not like.

Always buy the season pass with parking if you even think you'll be there more than once. It will pay for it's self in 2 visits. We have 8 people in our family and it saves us a boat load. The only down side is they are hit and miss on what the rules are on some rides. They will let some kids on a ride smaller than your kid but then say oh sorry you kid is to short. Complaints to management go no where. And next year we will think about it a little more then just going ahead and getting them. But 4 years of 8 season passes as of now I say good deal.

Good place for a day excursion. Once a month be all I want. Nice friendly people only thing I didn't like is I seen a few people with clip on pocket knives. On their pants pocket. Don't think anyone needs a weapon like that in a family place. People are crazy today. Bags were hand checked but. And food prices are way to high. Large pizza 36 bucks no not going there. Price for day is expensive but they got make money. 4 months out of the year.

Supervisor very rude and are not there for there customers

I Had the worst experience ever, I was cursed at by the person at the gate. For not getting my hand stamped to reenter. I stepped out for 2 minutes. I purchased a season pass for myself and her. I still have two free admissions, that I feel uncomfortable to use. The person at the exit gate threatened to "f" me up when he hets out. Said be out here waiting for me when I get off. I was looking for a manager, because he just ruined my girlfriends baithing suit. He proceeded to physically stop me when he refused to get a manager, I took it upon myself to find one. He put his hand acrossed my chest, physically trying to restrain me and continued to use profanity while small children were exiting the park. This is not any place I would bring my family, let alone my child. The worst customer service ever. Save your money for six flags, Dont waste it like I made the mistake of.

I came to this place at least 20 years ago and so much has changed! New attraction rides which is a plus, but strict rules!
My son wears the full face googles, (covers the eyes and nose), we go out to the wave pool and the Lifeguard starts blowing his whistle I walk over and he told me that those goggles were not allowed which is absurd I then asked for the supervisor and he said that it was a safety issue but lifeguards could not see a person's face that he also thought it was a stupid rule but the child can have eye goggles and nose plugs. I asked if they had any nose plugs and eye goggle wear he told me to check with the souvenir shop in which they did not have any nose plugs which is very weird for a water park why would you not sell those? So that started my trip off bad because my youngest was upset. So if you plan on going to wet and wild make sure it's eye goggles only and bring your own nose plugs! The food was really good the price was expected always high in public parks but the wait time for your food is ridiculous.
Some of the rides are rougher then expected so be aware.

This place has turn into regulated money pit. From the time you walk in someone is in your face trying to sell you something. Food is extremely over priced even for a theme park. on every block of this tiny park there is a food and drink kiosk. Then they are watch dogs ensuring that you did not bring in your own drinks or food. There are some large pools where 40% of the pool was blocked for some reason. I literally had to show my receipt for the $4 bottle of aqaufina water that I bought. They are selling floatation tubes for kids that can only be used in 1 of the pools.

The constant play of country music is very annoying!!!!

I read the reviews before we went and pleaded with my husband not to go. I wish he had listened. The bathroom was the most disturbing and disgusting thing I had seen. There was feces on the floor and all over the seat. There were kids in there just going to the bathroom in the corners. God knows where their parents were. The kids pool area was so crowded it smelled like urine and B. O. The last straw was when we were sitting by the wave pool and I noticed a piece of poop on the ground. I watched as one of the lifeguards noticed it and stood over it until someone came to pick it up. They didn't tell anyone or tell people to get out of the pool. They just cleaned it up and kept it moving. So there was fecal matter in the wave pool. When we left I told my husband never again. This place was nasty. Do not do what I did and read this and try to visit and hope for the best. Unless you want to swim in feces.

Its okay, pool is cracked and peeling up. Slides leave scratches and small cuts on your body, looong lines, lots of unattended kids in the water. But thats normal for an amusement park. Just seems outdated and old

This place was awesome the river the huge water slide the baby pool my little sister loved it my mom loved the lazy river I loved the wave my step dad loved the tall water slide I would recommend this park for all ages the food was great every time we go there we have a great awesome time the service and staff are awesome just awesome I hope y all make it bigger in the future

Took my kids here for the 1st time over the summer & they loved it!

Great fun place for families and churches to go for a vacation but the food prices are too high

Had a great time! Love the wave pool!!! I suggest you bring your own lunch (sandwiches, salads, fruits, yogart, nuts, chips, frozen water, whatever you like) in a cooler, keep in your car and come back out of park when hungry to eat. The food isn't great in the park, or is expensive (turkey leg is $12.00) There are a few picnic benches along the way, outside the park near the cooler storage, with umbrellas for shade, if you can secure one. Those are free.

Overall good experience, if you can swing it get a Cabana, buy early they sell out, only good for that day no rain check

Had a blast with my family there was something to do for everyone!

Surprised by many negative reviews. It hasn t changed much since I was a kid and the wear n tear shows. However we had a blast and plan on getting season tix next year.

Great place to go on a hot day....However, I don't think people should be allowed to place their items in a chair and leave it for hours at a time....More items occupy the chairs than actual people.

Rain day so got rain checks but what about the 20 dollar locker I paid for and the parking fee. It seems like if they know they are going to close the entire park only after being open 3 hours they could give the cost of lockers and parking back.

***Update: 2018 season: This summer has been better. Water hasn't been near as cold as last season, makes all the difference. Food is still $$$, even the season meal pass is too much for us. If it was just me, I could see where it would maybe benefit.
Have enjoyed swimming here this summer. Wish they were open later during day and a longer season.

Good rides, usually worth the lines. Food is overpriced but normal for a theme park.

We've gone to Wet n' Wild a few times over the years and it's been ok. However, last year we went a little later in the season (mid-August), paid the full price admission then only to find out half of the slides were closed once we got into the park. They didn't have enough lifeguards or people to run the slides. Many of the slides are operated by college students and they return to school in August. They should tell you this when you purchase your ticket or at least offer a discounted rate. It's disappointing to drive all the way there and find out many slides are closed. I just called to make sure they would be fully staffed this week and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. Not sure we'll go back. Disappointing, really.

Got a allergic reaction to some of the water so be careful.

Had a great time but did notice that a lot of things are peeling and damaged. The kid pool area had great things for them to play on but most were peeling or had holes in them. They could definitely use an update on a lot of things

They have a good variety of rides for young and old. We go once a year. This year it rained lightly on the day of our visit which turned out to be a good thing because lines were short.

I like it there Mostly, But I wouldn't recommend it all the time. It may be crowded and might be a little lengthy to get on a ride or get tickets...ETC

I had an awesome time. Staff were very nice except for the life guards....They were pretty rude.

I went with my wife and two children (ages 4 and 7) on July 4th. The park wasn't near as crowded as I expected. Weather may have had something to do with that, though, as there were some popcorn storms in the area. Nothing was broken down, the park was clean, bathrooms were clean, and there was plenty to do for everyone. The only thing holding this place back is it is a bit of a money grab. We spent almost another $100 on top of park admission for parking, a locker, one meal, and a snack we shared. I know this is common practice for most parks, and we could have made different choices to avoid many of these extra costs. However, the water park where I grew up offers free parking, drinks, and even sunscreen while also keeping reasonable prices on food, so I know it is possible for this park to improve in this area. Overall, though, my family left here very happy.
