A great way to spend a hot summer day with family. There is something for everyone and for every level of swimming skill. Like with anything, there are pros and cons too everything.
Let's start with cons: 1) it can b crowded, thus the waiting lines will b long, and when it's the middle of July, it can get REALLY hot. 2) NO outside food allowed which leads to the third 3) the food is expensive. Like ridiculously expensive, and not that tasty. 4) when at the rides, there are cubby holes for shoes, but no where to really put your towel, drink, or whatever else you're carrying around. 5) with that being said, you can rent a locker, however, they are kinda pricy with a small being $10, or a large at $20. There are 3 locations around the park, but the ones that are in the front where most people go are updated with a 4 digit pin number instead of a key. So maybe the reason the prices are kinda steep is because the park is trying to update all the lockers to that system. 6) some of the slides can bang up your knees, hips, ankles, things like that, so keep in mind that while you'll leave happy and tired, you may also b sore.
It may seem that the cons outweigh the pros, but when you really think about the time you spend there, it's really not that bad. So let's look at the pros: 1) kids and and adults will have a blast! 2) if you go on Wednesdays, not only could you get a discount on the entry tickets, it typically is less busy, so in turn lines are not that long! 3) you can ride a ride multiple times in a row. 4) they do sell alcohol (but again, it is expensive, but you can pack a cooler, and visit your cooler as many times you as you want, as long as you get your hand stamped for reentry) 5) lifeguards are everywhere, so safety is always a plus. 6) you can get a reusable cup for about $9, and the refills are a buck. I recommend getting that because that is the best deal. 7) they have a souvenir shop that doubles as a stop-in-shop for those in case situations where you forgot sunblock, or a towel, ect.
The price of admission is $40, but when it comes to family fun in the sun, admission is priceless.
