Fun park with lots of attractions for all ages. Food isn't great, but that's probably to be expected.

Wave pool , dare devil were close most of the day then at 2:30 PM they close the park because there was some. Louds. I drove 2 hrs to get there spent 30.00 dollars on lunch and did not enjoy it worse experience ever

We loved all the innovated water rides which cooled us off on this very hot day.

Lifeguards doing drills..I liked seeing this.some faster than others .but it keeps them on point..

Could be better! It is really expensive for the stuff they have to offer.

I love this water park! ! My family and I go every summer atleast once and every year our group grows. We bring our own food and drinks and we go in the picnic area and then return the the park you can't do that at Carowinds. It's worth the trip.

I love spending time with my family here... But they need more seats...

I notice the unfair ratings of people complaining about parking cost, well buy the family four pack season pass and you never have to buy parking. The price of food is crazy but what amusement park isnt, there are plenty of places to eat locally go get something and come back.

I understand that weather happens however I do not understand buying a cabana for $125 and only getting to use it from 10am to noon before the rain started and by 130pm the park closed completely for the weather and still no refund on the cabana?!?! That is literally money wasted and when I asked a park manager the response was too damn bad! I will never recommend this place to anyone! If I could rate it 0 stars I would. This was for my daughters birthday and it was a total waste of money since it was too damn bad about the cabana!!

Great rides, lines were too long compared to places like water country usa, i think they need more rides to help w the crowd size. Overall great trip, definitely dont eat the pizza. Its pretty rough

This place has really gone down hill. Increased prices on lockers, food quality is awful (actually had moldy bread on my sandwich as well as my friend's), and you can't sit on the ledge in the wavepool anymore after being able to do it for years! Their business model needs to change!!

I was very excited to go to wet n wild for the first time. My friends and I pre-bought the tickets to save some money, and we did it on a Saturday because when we looked up the hours in large font across the screen it said it d be open till 7. We got there at 4 because we had a long drive, to only an hour later hear an announcement that the park was closing. I spoke to the management about this and they said they were not responsible for the information displayed on the Internet. I find this unacceptable and unprofessional. If your business is on the Internet it is your job to ensure people are receiving the correct information. Customer service was not helpful at all. Received no refund for tickets or locker. Do not recommend.

We come to Wet'n Wild the week before school starts back every year, like the last big hoo-rah of the summer. We have never had a bad experience. The lifeguards and staff are always pleasant and ready to field any questions you may have. It's ALWAYS a great exclamation point on the end of a summer!

Wave pool is where I stayed. I would lay down at the edge and let the waves roll me out, then another wave would take me back in and take me out again.

Great place for family fun! 2nd year celebrating my son's bday. They could have a better music selection I however

Always have a great time here. Gets a little crowded during peak season, but getting a season pass is definitely the way to go!

Slides are awesome. We had some problems with the rented locker, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The food isn't great and there aren't a lot of options to choose from, but the slides, wave pool, and other pools are great. I wouldn't suggest buying your parking pass online. We bought our parking online then had to pay again when we arrived and then go to guest services to get a refund (wasting about half an hour of our time).

It wasn't the best time of all. It would have been a lot better if they didn't have 2 slides AND the lazy river closed off. Every line was so packed because the most popular attractions were closed off. You could barely move in the wave pool. I've never seen it so bad and I've been there at least ten times. It should have at least been cheaper that day. It's terrible. Waste of money, really. It's a long trip there already and then to get there and can't even ride everything, is horrible. And we couldn't ride much that was open because like I said, everyone was all in the same area. And to top it all off, our towels got stolen off the chair we had. Get it together, Emerald pointe!

Lots of fun for the kids. I would avoid Saturdays at all cost though. Lines can be extremely long!

This was our most disappointing summer activity. The Dragon's Den was having a technical problem and, after waiting over an hour on the stairs in the blazing sun in addition to waiting 30 minutes to get a tube, our group was informed the ride was closed for safety reasons. I asked the staff if we could get compensated and she told me to talk to guest relations. They were really rude and told us they never compensate for time spent on waiting for rides, even if they break. Then a lightening storm caused them to close the park at 3pm so we were not able to ride on one single ride after 1pm. (They did announce we could get a three hour rain check for inclimate weather but the 1 hour and 15 min drive made that not worth it to me.) For the price we paid per person, I expected WAY more. Staff seemed to be ill trained as well. We will not be returning.

Best place to go to for a short vacation trip too here and Carowinds

Today at Emerald Pointe my diabetic sister got her graham crackers thrown in the trash because "she wasn't allowed to have food" but all year long we've been going and all she had to do was explain she needed them to keep her from bottoming out. Though they threw her crackers away my other sister who doesn't have diabetes was able to keep her snacks, that same woman who threw my diabetic sisters crackers away looked into my other sisters cooler seeing drinks and snacks and zipped it right back up moving on to the next person. As we got into the park my diabetic sister stopped to talk to someone else about what happened since everyone else was being rude and not willing to help us. The guy she stopped to talk to even explained that she should not have thrown her food away especially because she was a diabetic and so he called a manager over there and left. That manager was unbelievably RUDE! She at first insincerely kept apologizing about the fact that she was't going to allow us to have food but after my sister kept trying to explain that she doesn't understand and she doesn't have to go through bottoming out Tiffany, the manager said with a very noticeable attitude "I do understand, you don't know my mama could have diabetes". After that we just walked off saying "okay whatever". Tiffany then began to follow us still talking about the conversation after it was over like she was trying to start stuff. We then told her it is too late and to leave us alone because we were going to call corporate and still are! She continued to follow us getting in my sisters face after we asked her to leave us alone, a bunch of staff came running over because we were the "disruptions" and had us thrown out and banned. They took everyone's season pass right before we were in the car about to leave, including my 2 nieces(ages 8&10) and mine and my sisters (14&16). Through this whole thing NONE of them even listened to our story. They said we were "cussing" (not true btw). As I was walking away I heard Tiffany tell whoever she was talking to that my sister called her the B word which is a complete lie! WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! CORPORATE WILL BE CALLED!!!!!

Very nice workers and great deals if you get passes for parking and pictures and of course park pass. The life guards are all professional and alert. I can tell they know their job and enjoy working here which is a plus! I enjoy the many life vests for use for free.

I wish there was more shade for the seats bc sitting in the sun can be bad when trying to rest. So maybe more cover for rest areas?

Also would be nice to make a rule where no one can hold a seat with a towel. A family of six can hold six nice seats with towels and not use them in hours or at all!!! I had to leave one day early bc of not having a place to seat not bc they were being used but bc they were held by towels lol. I'm pregnant and have to rest plus I make my son rest from all the play.

I have season passes so we stayed for a few hours it's a hour drive to and from my home to park but I didn't have a place to rest.

The oneline tickets for the park and parking was a hassle it took over ten minutes to get through the parking booth with noone in front of me ridiculous

No the Emrald Point I remember. Most of the adult rides are gone, and price for kinds under 48" could be better considering they are too short for 80% of the slides there.

A great place for family and friends. We had a terrific time. The water sludes were so thrilling!!!!! Kids loved the wave pool. Smaller kids with us loved the splash pad. I have a season pass so i always get to take a friend for free and free parking. Also discounts at the food and souvenir shop. We LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! 5 STARS DOESN'T DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE. Its great!

We had lots of fun but the place needs some maintenance and a good cleaning.

It was ok , my 6 yr old couldnt do alot for the height regulations after paying $109.00 for the day . wasnt worth what it cost . we wont be going back...

I have the season pass and go often. I love a fun day or two in the pool. Wave pool that is. Out over my head. They have warm showers so you can go to K&W.

I haven't been in years so I decided to take by 15 year old son for his birthday along with a group of friends. We went Saturday August 1st. We already had our tickets, but still waited 20 minutes in line at 10:30am just to get in because they had 2 lines checking people's bags. The place was packed at 10:30 with no chairs to sit on and the locker situation was a nightmare due to people not having a clue how to work them, and no one available to show them. The lines were awful and I am not sure why, because some rides could have went faster if they would keep it going. Some lines were for 3 people tubes and they were allowing 2 people to use them causing the rest of us to wait. People were jumping in lines and being so rude about it. The lazy river had kids jumping the fence to break in front of people and the life guard was right there and said nothing. The wave pool was disgusting and so were the restrooms. But the issue at the rapid ride will make me file a formal complaint. Someone had used the bathroom on the rapid ride; feces was floating down the rapid in the pool area and the life guard had NO clue what to do. She was running around frantic but never told the people up top to stop sending people. So they kept coming down not knowing they would be in someone's bowl movement. They scooped it out but NEVER shut the ride down nor cleaned it correctly. This was the worst thing I had ever seen!! This place needs a good cleaning and better training!!

We loved, loved, loved this place! Our visit from NY was already dynamic & Wet & Wild made it that much better. We read many reviews before visiting so we enjoyed lunch before arrival. The children all had a great time & were asleep within half hour of ride home. Didnt encounter any "attitudes" of course being a native NYer we'd know how to handle that. Perhaps many of you need to put your big girl/boy underwear on & know how to have a great time. One review wants to complain about overweight..LOL...then turn it into a LBGT fight. GET OVER IT!! Your weight has nothing to do with your preference. Pick your battle. O well next stop Carowinds.

I'm not a fan of water parks because I can't swim LOL. Anyway to be honest my overall experience was great this is a nice peaceful little park . I guess the price is right . I see much improvement that should be made. This place needs to be rerentvate and the parking needs to be paved everywhere. It has an old historical look. But if you want to take the family somewhere close this is highly recommended it services the need for the surrounding communities. The wave pool I guess is the best thing this park offers. The rides are mediocre . The kid Friendly zone is great my son had so much fun . I had and eye on all 3 toddlers from 4yrs & 2yrs wasn't hard to manage them in the area. Lot of life guards on duty police enforcement is available as well.

love it hear me and the family get passes ever year well worth it always have fun clean but the bathrooms could use a little more fun rides food a little high but most places are now but good the crows nest is great if you are not there whit kids have a beer lifeguards are hit and miss due to you have the guys looking at the girls and not doing there jobs but over all this is a great places get the pass I don't rember which one it is but its one whit free parking its worth it

This place is overrated overcharge you for food drink and lockers not the same when it opened years ago I been comming here sense I was little and it is way high now lines take forever closes at 6 parking is overrated sky high it's sad because most of the people who come here I would say are 70 percent locals. Save your money go to the beach or do something worth your dollars.

I've been twice already this month . I am amazed at how clean and we'll managed this place is. The life guards are on their toes at watching everyone.
Season pass is the way to go

Even if you going to chaperone and not swim or ride rides you got to pay full price admission other than that great!!! My kids enjoyed themselves

Been here since I was a kid. This place is always a hit. If you want to avoid crowds, go anytime not during a big sale or weekend. The only slides that hurt are the older ones that are built into the hillside. They are black covered tubes if I recall it correctly. The daredevil can cause issues. Staff are fine, pools and grounds well kept. Stake out a place early on and enjoy the whole day. Food-wise, you may as well get their meal deal package. No restaurant stands out; they're all subpar but food is food here. The cabana rentals are worth it if you go with a large crowd and don't want to worry about staking your claim. Also nice if you go with older people so they can take a nap. Just be careful which ones you pick b/c there are a lot of bees and wasps. Let the staff know if it's a problem and they'll try to move you. The cabanas are also nice if you get them near the kid area and you have kids. Overall though, the price is well worth the fun!

Nice local water park. Nothing I would recommend driving over an hour to go to, but if you're in the area it has some decent water slides. The wave pool is fun.

I wouldn't bother eating here. The food isn't all that great considering the prices and they don't have lids for your drinks. Not sure if it's a money scam so you'll buy a cup from them, but lids should be offered when your outdoors. I'm not a fan of bugs and such in my drinks. Especially when I'm paying for it.

Most of the rides require 2 people and there is a weight limit. Lines are ridiculously long and about 5 of the most popular rides were not even open. So yeah it was very disappointing

I hadn't been to a water park in about a decade but this did not disappoint. The rides are super fun and the lines aren't horribly long even for Labor Day!

First time here, price was ok although I did get a discount because of my occupation. Four to five hours is plenty of time to see everything. Parking was good for me on a Monday. Most of the staff was friendly but I did run into a few who obviously did not like their job at all. Wave pool was a little lame. One wave every 2 minutes or so, they need to have maybe once every hour where they come every 15 seconds for a full minute. That would make it much more enjoyable. All and all it was a good time, I did not eat the food, but the ice cream was delicious. Although like any amusement park food and desserts are quite expensive.

this place is not worth the money, $10 fort parking, $45 to get in each, pizza is $30, drinks, $3 drink, $20 a locker, not too many rides. prepare to get hurt, elbows bleeding, old rides.

Wet N Wild was tons of fun! Friendly staff and lots of fun slides and fun! Perfect for people like me who cant do rollercoasters anymore because they give me headaches. I spent all day here with no headaches or problems. Not super crowded and lines are pretty short!

When I called like 4 times to asked questions to make sure I'm prepared. That one lady sounded like she hated her job and act like she was tired of answering questions. Made me not want to come. But when I did came, it was amazing. The staff was really great. If I would have seen the lady who answered the phone. Would of gave her a of my mind.
