The rooms look really nice, I liked the decor and the feel of the room I was in. The only thing that would make it even better is if the bathtub was a little bigger. But that's only a minor thought and doesn't change my enjoyment of the service at all

My family and I stayed for 2 nights to attend a funeral. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My father uses a walker and the staff went out of their way to make sure he was taken care of. Great breakfast and the free evening drinks were a plus.

Nice property. Don't try paying cash for your room. Even after a hurricane when that's all you have left! Manager was nice but staff was poor. Very disappointed in this property as a whole .

Disappointed! I have stayed at this Embassy for years but this time was a disappointment. First of all, the check in process was horrible. I had a situation happen and the young woman checking me in was not very helpful! Afterwards, I finally was able to check in but no bell carts were available. At a Hilton establishment I expect the amenities to be dynamic. That s the purpose of staying with Hilton. The beds were very uncomfortable as well as the pull out couch which was stained. It s time for an update. They are little as well as low. I expect to pay more for Hilton but I also expect quality amenities. My daughters room air went out, they came and fixed it, then it kept going in and out. The premium room I had could have used a different variety of snacks daily instead of the same daily.

I also struggled with the entourage of people covering the lobby walk way daily as my family and I came and went. The pool rules need to be revamped, if I am paying to stay somewhere I would like to be able to go to the pool with my children later if I want. I understand the saftely of children but I think there should be guidelines set for supervision and allow people to stay later. Also, the wrist bands and the no replacement rule is really outrageous.

My review appears to be a rant and a bunch of negative comments about the hotel. Well it is because I brag and refer people to this hotel frequently. After my current visit I am unsure I can do that. My stay at the Marriott earlier that week was actually better than the one at my favorite vacation spot. I have actually brought foster children who never experienced anything to this hotel. That s just how much I loves it. Again, disappointed to upmost.

Wow, what an amazing facility! The service was quick and friendly. There is a large lounge that is open late and the meals are fresh. The wifi had fast internet upload and download speeds. That is always important to me. Also, it is walking distance to the convention center. There is a shuttle to go into town. Just down the street are plenty of dining options.

Enjoyed our brief overnight stay. The location was easy to find but views from the room do not match the website which can really be forgiven. Happy Hour drinks were underwhelming and breakfast pancakes and french toast were doused in oil. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor was traditional Mediterranean which was ok but looks like it hasn't been updated since the early '90, much prefer the contemporary feeling of newer locations. Rooms were nice sized and bathrooms were average. Overall we would stay here again.

Kids love it, we are traveling with 18 month old and 11 yr old. Rooms clean, bathtub doesn't have weird mold look around the edges, but like all hotels.... bring your own room deodorizer spray, cause the bathrooms don't have vents. We always bring some. Makes everybody happy.

The appearance of the room was really nice. The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean. The toilet only flushed half the time and housekeeping didn't come to reset the room until almost 6pm

This is my daughter's favorite hotel. The layout of the hotel is nice but I wish they would change the colors from rust and yellow to more modern, inviting colors. It seems to be outdated. I love the happy hour, pool and buffet style breakfast.

VERY comfortable hotel. Clean and spacious suites. Awesome buffet breakfast in the morning and an even more awesome manager's reception in the evenings with good drink options. Shout out to Kellie who makes the BEST mojito and whiskey smash!!!!! If you visit this hotel, you owe yourself to see Kellie. Not only does she make great drinks, she makes you feel like a friend. Truly a gem!

I loved the hotel but rooms where as bit smaller than the normal Embassy I have stayed at. I just stayed in Vienna V.A. and it was large. The buffet need to offer more options because I seen everyone throwing so much of food in the garbage. I had the pancake and they where so cold and pasty.

I always stay at the Hampton or double tree when I go out of town. I had reservations at this hotel and the man on duty at this hotel did not care that I had travel 3 hours for my son tournament. He tried to charge me an extra 240.00 on top of 240.00 of what I was paying. I understood the 40.00 tacked on to what i was expected to pay. I made reservations and i ask the representative if I could pay cash when i arrived at the hotel and they said ok. Mm I was told something completely different from the phone and the person at the hotel. I will never go there again. Just does not care.......

This place was absolutely horrible!! My family and I arrived at the hotel and found hair all over the pillows and sheets. There was also hair in the bathroom. As we cleaned up the hair, we saw a nasty yellow stain on the sheets and asked for some new ones. It took room service 45 minutes to deliver the sheets. The breakfast was terrible as well. The only highlight was that you could order an omelette. Other than that, the oatmeal was slimey and the bagels were stale. I am very unhappy about this experience.

The room was ok at best. The staffing working the breakfast bar were extremely rude. I will say the breakfast ended at 9 am and it was 915 am,but if you are drilling serving the food at that time you should still have mannors.

They're expensive & misleading. Before booking your room, I would call the hotel to find out their requirement for your stay. Such as 15% of your stay will be withheld on your credit card for room service etc., spa treatment is separate from the hotel(you must make your treatment in advance & their only open Tuesday-Satuday) so if you come in on their off days, you will have to try to make plans for reservation & cancelation at the same time just to fit into their schedule, you can't combine a relaxation stay with a premium package(if so you will have to switch up the room for each night you stay) also the spa treatment is only a 50 dollar certificate with your stay for the Relaxation Package so you will have to pay the difference for each treatment. This hotel has a lot to offer & things to do but it's gonna cost you. I have Hilton honors & AAA service still it was high.

Unique place with indoor balconies and clear view elevators. Front desk is pretty friendly and attentive . Not the cleanest place I've been to. Pool are is pretty busy and salt water hot tub was out of service during our stay. Breakfast was included and has made to order omelets. It is conveniently located and easy on and off of the highway.

Beware of Smoking Rooms! I booked a room 3 months in advance, but when I go there, they had a smoking room assigned and didn't have any other availability. It wasn't horrible and they were very apologetic about it. They sprayed some odor absorber around that helped. But it still stank, and all my clothes stank when I got home. I didn't know anyone even had smoking rooms anymore! The rest of the hotel and the buffet and everything was fantastic.

Worst experience ever I went to book a room for an extra night they said they were all booked however I was able to book on line ( lies ) they blamed it on corporate saying they over Book rooms and it s first come first serve
Then it was a fire in the 10th floor which my husband and myself had to run down 9flights of stairs with my 3&2 year old after having to remain outside for 4 hours we had to switch rooms with no special accommodations being we switched rooms and the managers communication sucks they called everyday at 1208pm or before asking when were we checking out after our stay was clearly for 6 days oh and the happy hour pictures are very misleading you will get veggies and ranch one night and when they run out of ranch you get Italian dressing and chips and salsa the next night in rotation last year my entire family stayed here the best experience ever this time around it has become my worst Hilton experience thus far

It very few times that I would provide a perfect rating and back it up. I would truly give this hotel 6 star rating if I could. The very moment my group walk in we were treated with the upmost respect from the staff in the hotel. The accomodations were made of first class. I always prefer a hotel that can provide made to order breakfast and Embassy Suites has a very high quality standard in providing a hot and healthy meal. Last, I am truly impressed by the sales manager, Mr. Brandon Ball, who went out of his way to follow up with me and my group to ensure that our stay was pleasant. I recommend if you are host a large group or even small group and visiting Hampton, Va. Please make your reservations at Embassy Suites.

I had a horrible experience during my recent stay at this hotel. After two days staying in our suite we found bed bugs in our bed. After alerting management they later confirmed there were in fact more bed bugs under the mattresses we had slept on. We had to leave our luggage in the room while the hotel staff went and steamed our belongings including our personal items. We couldn't go see our relatives that day because we didn't want to risk spreading it to their homes as well. We packed up all our belongings in trash bags and was humiliated as well left the hotel looking like vagabonds. When we went to make a claim through the hotel insurance to be reimbursed for our luggage and cleaning costs we were told that the hotel has declared bankruptcy and we can't receive payment for our expenses until after a judge lifts a freeze on their assets which can take two years in Virginia. What a horrible way to end a Thanksgiving holiday!

There was the minor issues of the elevators breaking down, but with a building loaded with people (mostly young adults) it was well kept. The room was nice and the buffet was great. The woman who ran the omelet station was so professional and amazing. The staff stayed on top of everything. I come here every year and it gets better each time.

We were overall happy with our stay. For some reason the second day by 5pm no one had wanted our room and we had to ask for someone to clean it. For some reason didn't get wash cloths. We also witnessed one of the managers Eric being extremely aggressive to a young employee who was clearly a special needs employee. She was super sweet and he literally was yelling at her running following her and aggressive in a manner that made my husband and other gentlemen guest pull him to the side. It's was horrific! The hotel did give us free dinner for the night due to his behavior and our sticking up for the young lady. They really need a change in management and things could be really nice there. The rest of the staff was truly a joy!

The hotel needs better policy's on cleaning a room. A former guest left their handgun in the drawer. My daughter's Junior Beta Group stayed there and one of the students (Jr High School) discovered the gun. By God's grace the gun did not go off. The hotel staffer gave a comment that we checked in 200 students. Cleaning the room and checking the drawers and closet has nothing to do with checking in guests. Unacceptable!

I stayed in the Hampton embassy next to the convention center for a convention. We always stay there because of the awesome staff and amenities. We've had maybe 2 problems in the five years we've done this and it's always been resolved quickly and efficiently. I'll always go back to an embassy first.

I love coming here for Nekocon. The hospitality suite is spacious and comfortable. My room is always spotless and well appointed. Right next to the convention center, and a bunch of nearby pokestops and gyms, for when I want to get out, grab some fresh air and play some Pokemon Go. This time of year is nerd paradise!

I checked in Saturday, around 2pm on "Mother's Day Weekend" after an 8 hour car ride. I suffer from DVT so I was completely exhausted to say the least. I reserved a premium suite to include a snack tray for my children so we didn't have to worry about the late night munchies. Well, to my surprise, I walked in the suite and there was no snack tray. After settling in and meeting up with family, I saw a gentleman with the cart delivering the snack trays. I told my daughter to be on the lookout because he will be stopping soon. Needless to say, he passed by. My daughter looked out the door to see what was taking so long and he had passed our room by. He told her the room wasn't on the list. She assured him it was and asked what she could do to prevent this mistake for the duration of our stay. He advised her he would let his manager know and she didn't have to worry. Sunday was eventful. We attended graduation at Hampton University. It was another long day. By the time we made it back to the hotel, I was completely worn out with a swollen leg. All I wanted to do was take a shower, take my meds and get in the bed, but I wasn't able to do that. I walked in my room, which wasn't serviced so I didn't have any clean towels. I waited forever and a day and saw a young lady who was headed my way. I patiently waited, but she never knocked. I looked out the door and there was no sign of her so I went walking the floor to the opposite side and asked the young lady on that side if she was coming down to my room. She asked the room number and after telling her, she asked if I needed it serviced? I said, "I do indeed and I need clean towels." She assured me she would come down after she was done. At 6:30 pm, she came , serviced the room but said she didn't have any clean wash clothes. Her manager was behind her cart and he said he would bring them back up. Well, that never happened. I took my meds because by this time my leg was throbbing and I called it an evening. The next morning when I woke up, still no wash cloths. I called the desk and advised what happened and she said she would send some right up. I never saw them. My children and I ended up washing with hand towels. I went down stairs to ask for a late check out because I still wasn't feeling well and wanted to rest my still swollen leg a bit more before getting on the road to drive back home. The young man advised me check out was at 12 and there was no courtesy. Anything after 12 would be an additional $25 for each hour past. I checked out and left. After the horrific stay, I made it back safely only to end up in the hospital. After being released, I called the property to speak with the manager several times, but never spoke with her or received a call back. I called the "so called corporate number" which was given to me by an employee there only to find out it was the rewards department. All I want at this point is my money back and I'm still waiting and I've yet to speak with a manager from any department. Not even a simple call back. Over the last 8 years, I've stayed at this property at least 10 times a year because my daughter attended Hampton University. I even hosted her graduation dinner in one of the banquet rooms. I never would've imagined being treated this way by a Hilton Brand Hotel. I've never had this to happen and I can honestly say, this left a really bad taste in my mouth. And the snack tray wasn't replenished until after the room was serviced and once again, we were not on the list.....

I'm still disgruntled!!

The breakfasts were satisfactory, the service was great, and the rooms were very, very nice. It includes a refrigerator and a tap, so leftovers from nearby restaurants can be stored there. There is also a restaurant in the hotel which, while relatively pricy, is very convenient.
