I liked this place because the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and engaging. It made me feel welcomed.
Booked my room about 4 to 5 months ago. When I arrived and checked in I received a handicap room that I did not request. Checked the room to find out that the bed sheets had not been changed, floor hadn't been vacuumed and the rest of the cleaning was bare minimal so I am going to assume someone was in this room and refused it so I was put there. The night lady who was very helpful came and changed our sheets and brought us fresh towels her service would get 5 stars. I even asked for a new room but was told none were available when people were still checking in this morning. I could have been put in a different room and this room could have been cleaned and moved the people that were checking in on Saturday. I should have been contacted before being moved to a handicap room to see if I wanted to change. The person who booked last should have been put in the left over room. I have stayed here before and would have given a five star rating three years ago but after this experience I will probably stay at the Hyatt across the street. I have recommended the Embassy to many people because of the quality, cleanliness, and service but have now eaten my own words.
Gorgeous hotel, very accessable to the conference center. Room keys were a bit finicky, the gym has very nice equipment but just the basics
We go there 2 times a year for family Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. They are always accommodating, even opening early this year just for us so we could attend a church function later that evening. Brenda is a princess and always up for a good conversation. Very happy with the service, the food is impeccable, service is spot on, will be back.
Embassy in Hampton is a nice hotel. The bar and restaurant are major highlights in particular. Food is very good. The rooms are probably ready for a refresh, but the hotel itself is nice as a whole.
I've stayed here before and chose this hotel again because it's a Hilton, because the rooms are large, and because of the breakfast. I arrived for breakfast and was told I just missed the cutoff for made-to-order eggs. I didn't argue, just say down and had coffee ... but 5 minutes later I saw another customer argue with the cook about the cutoff, and the cook made breakfast for this custoner. This was unfair and frustrating.
The rooms are huge, next time I will make sure there are no sports tournaments going on at boo Williams sports plex. Unattend kids running all over the place. Other than that nice hotel.
Staff was pretty nice but rooms were a little dated. Breakfast was ok. Overall I expected more for what I paid especially when upon checkout I realized that they charge for parking
The hotel was beautiful inside and out the service was amazing the pool is also amazing the complimentary drinks During certain hours was also a plus would recommend this hotel to all of my friends
Fabulous customer service. Decent food. Great location.
Looks nice. We had high hopes but several issues. Lobby couches were disgusting and we didn't want to sit while we waited on our room. Black out blinds wouldn't close all the way so the room was bright. TV had very few channels and most weren't in HD and looked terrible. WiFi isn't free for everyone. You have to join their rewards to get access so we're using cell data. The most disappointing was that the air conditioning has been running the entire time and it's very warm in here. We check out this morning so we don't have time to deal with that issue. Breakfast omelet was delicious but it was total chaos down there with no staff telling anyone what to do. Maybe it would be better not on a holiday week but definitely not as nice as the price suggests. We would have spent more somewhere else if I could have read this first.
By far, the best hotel in Hampton. The rooms are of course suites, which makes for a very comfortable stay. I particularly like the fact that I can watch TV in the livingroom while my roommate sleeps in the other room, saving me from a world of snoring.
This hotel has a beautiful atrium with a wonderful lobby. This lobby is the focal point of the hotel with bars and restaurants interwoven into the framework of the lobby. It all has a very cool feel to it.
The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. I came here for a convention and the check-in process, although the line seemed to stretch back to Pittsburgh, was fairly painless. This hotel is gold standard for the Hampton area.
Its amazinf!! The staff is great, friendly, and the room are so comfortable...its luke beibg a vacation but at home
Me and brownie take mini vacations here the breakfast is amazing
Beautiful and classy and surprisingly enough the customer service on all levels was outstanding. I expected snobby treatment but this was never the case. The breakfast is every morning, full buffet and great selection. Free spirits starting at 5:30pm, amazing rooms, big fluffy cotton towels, spa on site, restaurant and cafe, and complimentary shuttle. The only con was paid wi-fi at ten dollars a day but there is a free business room in the lobby with 2 computers. Best hotel ever!
I've stayed at the Embassy several times over the past few years. Each stay has been pleasant. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast has the usual hot food items and omelettes made to order. In the evening there's a manager's reception with great drinks and light snacks. The rooms are spacious, with a separate sleeping area from the living room.
Late reservation check-in worked fine. Room was clean but had a faint stale smoke smell. Entirety of lobby area and common areas had an exotic weed aroma to especially include the elevators. The one bedroom suite at the military rate of 93 a night can't be beat. Overall a nice hotel room. Morning continental breakfast lasted until1030 and they have eggs to order so that's a bonus. Parking area is lit fairly well but dark in the back corners. Looks as if there might be some pretty large blind spots in the CCTV coverage of the parking area as well. Pool was chock full of kids with a couple mentioning peeing in it. Kids will be kids. Decent full bar and restaurant too. Bar area becomes non kid friendly after 2100/9PM. I'd stay again when in Hampton.
This hotel was so terrible that we only stayed for 2 hours and decided to book another hotel. There was a bunch of hair on the bathroom floor, carpets were disgusting, I didn't want to sleep on the beds. Not at all up to par especially during COVID-19. If I could give it a 0 star I would.
The hotel is nice but starting to feel like they don't appreciate the Hampton homecoming alumni crowd.
