Yes we were cold called, but it was by a really pleasant and professional lad. It was to offer a product/service that my wife and I (and I suspect the majority of us) knew we needed to sort out (updating a previous and invalid will), had spoken about several times, but never gotten around to. From that first call Elm have been thoroughly supportive and we have every confidence that we are now in good shape legally. Peace of mind is invaluable and I recommend the service where your will is stored and can be updated as often as required. Yes you pay for it, but nothing compared to the potential cost of being unprepared.

Writing a good review on something I didn t really want to do is a strange thing but having now written our wills I feel very grown up and sensible and above all, have peace of mind. We were guided through the whole thing with great professionalism and knowledge. We were made aware of some pretty important stuff and therefore were able to make the necessary provisions. I am very pleased to have taken care of my will. Great service

I had Simon Pettangell to arrange my will. He arranged a time that suited me, in my own home. He was an extremely polite and a very knowledgeable gentleman, who made me feel very comfortable arranging something that is after all about your death. The final copy came through within 4 weeks as he had said. I have recommended him and ELM services to a couple of other friends and have no hesitation of recommending anyone else.

My husband and I went to a seminar by E.L.M. legal Services. The content was clearly explained both in the documents left around for us to read, and also the actual talk that was delivered. We were particularly interested in the Protective Property Trust that allowed us to include the children in a trust to help with death duties and to save the house from being sold when one of us might have to go into care.
We had several visits afterwards and decided to go ahead with the Trust. It did involve a great deal of care on our part - getting the signatures of our three children who live in different parts of the country, plus their witnesses. The witnesses had far more to do than just witness one signature,so it would be a good idea to choose one's witness carefully!
It is all fairly expensive but it has given us peace of mind and helped keep the Taxman's hands off our house and IHT. The Wills are now lodged with the Company until needed.

We had Tony come to our house. Initially it was to do a will, but we particularly wanted to protect our assets so that our beneficiaries definitely received our house. He told us the way to do this via a 'trust '. I had heard of these but had never understood them. Tony is very good in explaining it and is not pushy at all. We now have 1 and we are relieved its finally done.

Stop cold calling people. As a legal firm you should know that under GDPR you cannot contact people without express consent. I have requested my number be removed, any more calls and you ll be reported to the ICO

Excellent friendly cold call from a lovely lady. No pressure tactics involved just a genuine lovely girl. Received information booked my appointment for a home visit . Very professional gentleman came when arranged. Fully explained everything we needed to know plus other things we didn t really need but that s their job so we listened nonetheless. We had Peter come consult with us in our own home at a time that suited us as a family. We found Peter to be approachable, friendly, honest and knowledgable. He was honest in the fact he went through all the products available alongside Wills (e.g. Power of Attorney etc) but at NO point did he hardsell any of them, he was honest and saw we are a young couple with only a need for a basic Will at present. But we appreciate knowing as we get older there are the services available for us to add on if/when needed. We appreciate there was the option to pay a small monthly fee for storage and unlimited adjustments to the Will rather than having to pay for that service in a large bulk sum. We were a little slow on getting our Wills signed/witnessed and returned due to a busy lifestyle but E.L.M weren't pushy or threatening and simply sent a couple letters offering further support and information. We have now signed/witnessed and are all legal and covered. Feels a relief. Price of the mirrored Will I found to be EXTREMELY competitive considering it was a home consultation we received.

SCAMMERS.........STAY WELL CLEAR, RIPPED MY PARENTS OFF....BIG TIME, WHO T F CHARGES A MONTHLY FEE? OUTRAGEOUS, THEY TOOK POWER OF ATTORNEY...AND DID PROBATE WHEN IT WASN'T NECESSARY...TOTAL SCAM... WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT WITH MY PROFESSIONAL SOLICITOR...A LOT OF THEIR PRACTICES ARE HIGHLY ILLEGAL...

Changed details of my will over three weeks ago. Still not seen the revised version.

When meeting every option was explained clearly and checked that we understood. There was never any pressure to choose one option or another and it was left to us make the decision after being given time to take everything away and discuss it. There was never any feeling of being rushed and time was always given to make sure that we had all if the information we could be given to make an informed decision. All in all a very good experience on a tricky matter.
