Wonderful stylists, everyone is always friendly and welcoming. I'm always happy when I leave.

The salon had a great atmosphere, and everyone working was really friendly! I was able to schedule an appointment within a few days, and Samantha A. really listened to me and gave me a great haircut.

Great salon!! Brooke did an amazing job with my wife's hair! The cost was very reasonable for the amount of work and skill needed to preform the amazing change on my wife's hair. The pink was before and the brown color is after Brooke got finished.

I love Ella's! Maggie Jensen has been my stylist for over a year and she is amazing!!

Hannah was amazing!! We had a wonderful time getting ready for the wedding.

Definitely my go-to place when I lived in Minnesota. The ladies who work there are super friendly!

Came here for hair/makeup with the bridal party I was in. I only had my hair done and ended up doing my own makeup (broke college student). My hair stylist was amazing, I had two pictures of what I generally wanted as I am well aware my hair will not look exactly like the picture. She was super polite and walked me through what she was doing to my hair/why and offering suggestions on things she through would help achieve my desired look given my hair type/length.

I was extremely satasified with my hair and it held up well, I received lots of complements as well as I have lot of extra bobby pins for my hair!

As for doing my own makeup, a few in our bridal party did their own and they were kind enough to let us use the empty stations so we could get our faces to perfection. The lighting was really good too!

The only reason I didn t give them 5 stars is because I asked a stylist to help me glue on a pair of false lashes that I had brought myself since my hands were shaky. I knew they would still charge me for the help but they charged me the full $15 which is the cost for them to use their store lashes and apply them. I had my own lashes and glue and was kind of hoping they would only charge $10 maybe but that s me being excessively picky and I understand they are a business.

Overall, as someone who had never been to Ella s salon before I would recommend this place!

They need a buzz cut discount. I don't like paying $20 for a 5min buzz cut. I love the people there though. Always a good atmosphere.

Alexis did an amazing job, I showed her what I wanted and she was honest and explained things very well.

Me and my wedding party got our hair done at Ella's for my wedding and it was the best experience! They made everyone feel comfortable and everyone loved their hair and makeup!

All I can say is don't book your bridal party here.

We used Ella's Salon for hair and makeup for the entire bridal party on my wedding day. In total we had about twelve people and they were able to accommodate all of us at the same time. They even had space for us to bring in mimosas and food for the morning of my special day! They are incredibly reasonably priced. Not being from Alexandria, I was unsure of who to pick from and there weren't a ton of options as its not a large city. I was very pleased with the team at Ella's and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for hair and makeup in the Alexandria area. Thank you to everyone at Ella's!

I had Jamie P as a stylish and it was the worset. My hair came out but my scalp didn't she was in a rush to go home because it was past her time she left at 2pm and it was after that. she left my hair wet when I lift. And in this weather I don't see why. And others have always dried it fully. My scalp hurts when I move it from where she roughly combed it washed it try blow drying it with her fingertips. In at the end was the worset I could feel her fingers hitting into my scalp. I really like the shop the first time I came in. I felt like I could belong and it was a welcoming place. I am from out of state so it was wonderful for me. I felt like it was worth the money but this time I can't it hurts and I'm not a complainer I don't complain about my food or most things. But she was rude not social I pushed for conversation and I would even go as far to say there was a lot of awkward moments. I hate doing this complaining about pleople she seems like a wonderful person but this is bad. I'm sorry you made a wonderful business and I just can't be part of it anymore.

I was running late for my appointment so I called ahead to let them know and they were very accommodating!! When I arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Jamie cut my hair and waxed my eyebrows. She did a phenomenal job! Jamie went above and beyond all of my expectations. She was so knowledgeable on all of the products and treatments that the salon offers. Jamie also curled my hair and did my make up!(even though I was late to the appt.) I m very impressed and will definitely be back again.

From a glance, one would not expect to be in awe of the interior elegance of the salon. Every employee had a smile on their face. Hannah has skills, my daughter loves her haircut. They have quality products as well. My family's new go to salon.

Totally botched Manicure!!! Paid for a (1 Hour) Spa Manicure only to have a 30 minute appointment. Stylist was late, didn't know what service she was suppose to do (had to ask me if it as a Spa or Express...) and had nothing ready (also had to wait for her to do). She filed my nails down to a nub and in some spots WAY TOO FAR into the cuticle/nail bed to the point where my fingers hurt 3 days later still. I would have said something when it first happened but the room was too dark to totally see the details of length and edges. I did let her know when it was hurting during the filing to where she did back off a little. When I asked her about the Gel compared to the regular polish, she did tell me the differences. But when I asked about the price difference she only said that it was only $2-3 more......FAILED to mention that it was PER FINGER! Manicure went from $30 to $48, only to have the gel start coming off within less than 24 hours later. In the end my finger nails are different lengths and filed so horribly that I will have to let them grow out to fix them. My fingers still hurt and after calling (had to leave a message) and asking for the manager to call me back, still no call back. I had to call my regular salon and told them that I had a Manicure Emergency just to get the gel off so it wouldn't damage my fingernails any further (which they were able to get me in same day to get removed, thank God!)

I normally don't go to Ella Salon but my regular gal was booked for over 3 weeks.......I should have waited. Then I wouldn't of had red and inflamed cuticles and $60 richer. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Ella's Salon...ever.

I have been going to Emily R. at Ella's for about 10 years. It is,always a great experience!

I highly recommend Ella's Salon. I go here for everything! Hair, massage, nails and lashes. The staff is friendly, the services are top notch and it is a very clean salon.

Got my lash extensions filled there with Kaitlyn and was really happy with the outcome ! She was super nice to talk with ! Very reasonable prices too.

Chelsie does a wonderful job on my lashes!! Love them!!

Ella s Salon provides a pleasant environment for anyone to get their hair done! I recommend Tabitha, as she has done my hair (full foil blond/gold/brown mix of color) for years now. My hair has grown thicker and more shiny during the years Tabitha has worked it ... I get a lot of compliments on my hair style and color and I plan to use her as long as she s available.

My favorite place to go! Everyone is so talented and sweet! There's a great variety of services to meet the needs of anyone. The salon is very clean and well-kept. Jamie P has been my go-to girl for several years now and she always does a phenomenal job!

The Ella's salon ladies just did our manicures, pedicures, hair, makeup, and waxing for our whole wedding party, and we couldn't have had a better experience. The ladies were all so friendly, personable, and professional. They did an amazing job. We were all overly happy with the outcome of everything. Emily was so gracious when the mani/pedi appointments got pushed back a bit because of a "flood" Lol... (definitely started the day off with some entertainment to say the least.) Thanks to all the lovely ladies who helped make us feel beautiful on the brides special day. Couldn't have picked a better salon. Thank you all so so much.

Our family has been well taken care of by Emily for over 12 years now, even before she opened this salon. The staff are friendly and very professional, always rendering perfect service. My wife had her hair done by Emily for our wedding and it was beautifully done. Our twins got their first haircut from Emily. Us boys usually get our haircuts from Jamie P these days, and she does it perfectly. Greta also cuts my hair occasionally and she is also very professional and talented. Thanks Emily for treating us like family!

Made appointment over phone but it got discombobulated; it was set up as 30 minute trim which is all I needed but still didn't get quick trim. Won't be back.

I had a facial and it was so amazing. It was an hour long and was very relaxing and included a bit of a shoulder massage. Even the day after I'm feeling like my skin is glowing. I'll definitely be back.

I got a facial done by Lisa. It was amazing! She was fantastic. The entire time i was there it was very relaxing with great staff who were all smiling.

Ella's is the absolute best! As someone with waist length hair that I take meticulous care of I trust very few places for a color and cut. I've never been disappointed with the services at Ella's. Having this much hair it takes a lot of patience and attention. Jaime D does an outstanding job! She did a waterfall color from light brown to blonde and it's perfect! Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic hair cut and color (highlights and lowlights) by Mirissa. I have medium-length highlighted brown hair. She took time to discuss what I wanted first, and I loved that she has a very gentle way...so many stylists pull too hard or brush in an almost rough way; she is just lovely. And the best scalp massage during the shampoo, so relaxing! I would highly recommend her for anyone!!
