This venue is an absolute must!!! It's small in the best way possible. I went to a sold out show and it didn't feel super packed. The drinks are reasonably priced and strong. The staff are great too.

Saw a show here last night, and I had a very unpleasant experience with this venue. They way over sold the show, it was packed shoulder to shoulder, there was no room at all to move around. I don't drink alcohol, but I like to have something to sip on, so I went to get a soda water and lime, they wanted $3.00 for a cup a little larger than a dixie cup. It was hot and muggy, and they pumped so much fog into the air my mouth got try and my eyes became irritated. I won't be back to this venue.

I actually like the venue (sans bathroom placement), but it has the same issue at every show: just because you have a legal capacity, it doesn t mean you have to sell to that capacity.

If you go to sold out shows at similar venues around the country, there s almost always a little room to dance and enjoy yourself. Shows aren t enjoyable when you are squeezed in shoulder to shoulder and can t move or breath.

It was a good run for me, but I just can t do the overpacked Fine Line anymore. Maybe if the show isn t sold out, but having fun and dancing is the best part of shows and that s been removed in favor of profits.

I love this place. I recently saw John 5 and Ovrfwrd here and was blown away by the atmosphere, sound, and comfort. There's a really cool alleyway smoking area that's right out the side door. Bouncers were not overly active, so I got to meet some of the musicians on the side where they carry equipment to and from the stage.
My one gripe is they have a bathroom attendant. I don't need nor want this. I want one paper towel...for free. I don't want four of them and then snarky comments about tipping.

What a great venue to see an artist. Great staff. Not a bad spot in the shop. You have to stand, of course, unless you are lucky enough to purchase a table in the balcony. Also: be forewarned no lining up in front of the building beforehand. Some stupid ordinance. Of course people just stand to the one side and create a que. And you can't take your drink with you to the bathroom, so leave it with a friend and stop your whining. Saw Alison Moyet. Brilliant!

If it allowed negative reviews, it would be a -3. First off, no food. Drinks that are priced the same as southern California.. don't drink anything here. You also can't leave once you are in. The door guy said it prevents people from leaving and shooting up, smoking whatever. Pretty sure I saw nobody that looked like that whatsoever. So if you enter the door , realize your hungry, and try don't serve food, the joke is on you! F THIS PLACE.

Was probably the best concert I've been to this year and that's saying a lot after going to Twenty One Pilots and Billie Eilish.
The venue was perfect. Enough floor room and the stage was low enough to be pushed against by the crowd and not totally die.
Cannot wait to come back here to experience it more and see how their drinks and such are.

Had a good time. Great venue for concerts. Don't let the name fool you though there's no food. LOL it's a Cafe , I really thought there would be food at a cafe. Maybe I'm old. But eat before you go and you'll have a great time.

Good venue, but they're horrible to their bands. I recently played here with my band. We were promised a 50/50 split for all advance tickets and door tickets. We didn't make ANYTHING! They took our pay to pay their own people and still expected me to fill out w-9's. Local bands, do yourself a favor, play the 7th Street Entry, The Pourhouse, or Gluek's. Not this place. I'm not sure if the one guy was the manager or who he was, but he has a complete ass to all the bands. I've played many venues, and this venue is by far the worst for local bands.

Great venue. Overall a great venue. Get there early and you can score yourself a table in the second floor over looking the stage. Drinks are comparably priced with beers around $7. Friendly staff. Good experience!

My brother and sister attended the Dominic Fike show recently. My brother is wheelchair bound due to a severe accident. My sister contacted fine line prior to the show inquiring if there was wheel chair accessible seating/area for my brother to see and enjoy the show that he paid good money to attend. She was told yes they would reserve a spot for him. When they arrived, their "reserved seating" was the far back corner of the venue where they couldn't see the stage at all. After the show, they hung back to allow others to get out before them (for my brothers safety). They were told they had to leave because they didn't have meet and greet tickets. My sister tried to explain the situation and that they were also waiting for their ride but was told they had to leave at that moment. Fine line was a giant let down and cannot believe this is how someone who is in a wheel chair who paid their hard earned money was treated. Absolutely appalled.

Bands and music were great! SECURITY SUCKED!! I got pushed to the ground by drunken morons and when my husband tried keeping them back and away from me, the other guy started trying to fight him and we were kicked out! The whole night people were complaining about this drunken idiot and the fact that he was hurting people and the security team did NOTHING! I am never going there again! Thanks for ruining my night.

Saw Masego in concert, right before Halloween. Nice venue. Acoustics were decent. Security at the door is friendly, thorough and efficient. Felt safe. They have a bar but I didn't get a drink. Had a great spot in front of the stage. Crowd for Masego was beautifully diverse. Had a great time. First time at Fine Line, will keep checking for other concerts. Would like to return!

Some of the best sound anywhere in the city (I'm sure there have been shows where this would sound wrong, but not from what I've experienced). They're gonna up charge for your drink, but everyone in downtown does. Keep killin it, Fine Line.

Very good place to see a band. The sound is great, good views from the balcony if you wanna shell out a few more bucks, well worth it. Drinks and beer were outrageously expensive. When the band was over, we were shuffled out and not given time to use the bathroom, buy merch or visit with the band who came down to see their fans.Uncool. Parking in a nearby lot was also expensive. Good bands play there though so we are conflicted.

Great place to see a performance if you want it get up close. Upstairs tables sell out fast so don't wait around too long if you want a seat. GA is a small enough crowd to manage even for the claustrophobic at heart.

I've only been here a couple of times but I like this venue. Small enough to keep the shows intimate but not too small to where you feel claustrophobic. Sound is pretty good if you're not right up next to the stage. Generally speaking I really don't like going downtown but I don't mind going here with the convenient parking lot right next door.

Here's the deal with the Fine Line - under the new guidance of First Avenue it's become a really nice smallish venue with fantastic sound quality. I don't hesitate to go to if there's a show that's interesting. The upstairs reserved seating can be nice, but I think the action is on the floor. And what's cool is you can get super close to the stage, there's no pit or whatever. Only knock is the stage is kinda low and on packed shows it can be hard to see as much.

Was here for a GoParty hosted by Go96 a few weeks ago. Simple place, that's for sure. Sound was pretty decent. I'm not sure if it is standing room only all the time or just for that particular event. Might come back for another visit, or maybe another GoParty!

Meh. Good sound, but when it's packed don't expect to get a drink, go to the restroom, etc. Sightlines suck. Much better venues around the city, but if your fav band is in town and they're playing the Fine Line, whatcha gonna do?

Excellent music venue that quickly gets you in and out! We were here for the first time to see Bryce Vine, and his performance and the venue didn't let us down!! We would recommend you coming here if your looking to see an artist perform here, as we would definitely come back!

Nice venue, great service, just be aware that if you sit on the balcony the lights on the stage are planned out with the people on the floor in mind. Be prepared for your corneas to be attacked
