No wonder it is one of the 7 wonders of the world. The sheer size of the tower itself is jaw-dropping. The view from the top level cannot be called anything less than mesmerizing and should never forget to view the light show present every hour after sunset. No words can do justice to the view and wonder that the Eiffel Tower gives.
Great experience!!!!

This place is like one of the best things of Paris. Visit this place during evening so that you can have both the views- daylight as well as in night. At night it is a must visit. Do go to the top. You will have an amazing view from up there.

Had a great time at the Eiffel tower in Paris! I am very afraid of heights and this was definitely a challenge for me to go up to the second level. The view is amazing and the food was descent. Worth the 1 hour wait and the short elevator ride!

Great. One of the most if not the most visited objective in Paris, it produces an overwelming impresion when you get near it. And when you get on the top floor, you have the impression that you are between the clouds. And the view from upthere...breathtaking. A lifetime experience.

Its the attraction point of Paris... what I like is not the tower itself but there are nice places around it. You can have a coffee , enjoy the area around. For me to pay for a tour de Eiffel was a no go.

You can't miss the Eiffel Tower without going to Paris! We had an enjoyable time taking pictures and awed by this structure. However a crazy event happened there and we left earlier than expected. There was an ongoing rally nearby and rallyist are running towards our direction. We couldve stayed more. Also, because there were a lot of people, the place got a bit dirty. But still..its a must visit!

Absolutely magical. You can walk along the seine to the Eiffel Tower or take the subway to any stations around the tour. I usually went there in the evenings in the summer. There were lots of shacks selling food, crepes and wine. Lots of lovers taking pictures and sitting by the seine. The place was just magical.

The Eiffel Tower is a must-see of course, but I don't need to tell you that. Enter on the West side if you can. It seemed to have the smallest line for security to get in and entry once inside. At night, the tower twinkles for 5 minutes every hour on the hour. The wait is a little long (to be expected at any monument like this). The view of the city is spectacular from the top in every direction. You can enjoy a glass of champagne for 15 Euros at the top as well! It's kinda small, but we were celebrating our honeymoon so it was worth it for us!

I have recently visited and I was very confused. Why is called the Leaning Tower of Pizza? It was NOT leaning and there was NO pizza! So it turns out I had to walk 4 blocks just to get a measly slice of the weirdest pizza you could ever taste. There was no cheese! Awful!

Great place to see! Wonderful views from the very top of the Eiffel Tower. We went mid-day and took the stairs with hardly no line at all. Once on the 2nd floor there were quiet a few more people and had to wait about 20mins before going to the very top. But it was well worth the wait. We returned later that night for a outstanding view of the Eiffel Tower lite up and light shows on the hour of every hour!

Very pretty and worth the hype. Make sure to get reservations to avoid waiting in line (and in the sun) for around 2 hours. You get to skip the line and makes visiting the tower much easier. There are discounts depending on whether you want to take the stairs or elevator along with age discounts but they do require identification or proof of age when using the age discount. You can either take the elevator up to the second floor and stop there or get the package that takes you all the way to the top as well. Both views are absolutely breathtaking and if given the chance I recommend going all the way to the top but either gives you great views of the city and plenty of photo opprotunities

The Eiffel Tower is a must see when visiting Paris. It s beautiful both day and night. You can take an elevator or the stairs to the top! The views form the top were breath taking, we also took a cruise on the river at night and I think at 10pm every night the tower glistens.

Simply, symbol of Paris. Great building and unique. I truly recommend to visit at night, because on the day light you can see all flaws on structure, like corosion, and at night it shine bright, especially on every hour in durarion of five minutes. This is breathtaking. I recommend to go on top because I was and it was nice. Only thing because I give four stars is a stuff. They are not organized, I was waiting for hours to climb on the top and then they said me how I can not because it is too late. I was angry because nowhere is that written. Thay have a promotions for students and people who are under twenty five years. This is really good.

Absolutely beautiful! The architecture of this structure is amazing. This is truly one of the must see places on Earth. Plus, during the night when all the lights are turned on, the view is just mesmerizing. To go to the top, one has to wait in queue for about 1-2 hours but it is totally worth it. The view from the top is amazing. One can see entire Paris from the top.

It's the Eiffel tower. a must see, gigantic, the great sign of a modern France. But it is not something you want to see everday. once you do you won't need to do it again. still seeing it from far away is nice

The famous and well-known Eiffel Tower is something special for every tourist. For me too. Despite fear of heights, I decided to climb the tower. The tower has three floors. The first and second floors can be climbed both with the stairs and with the elevator. The top of the tower can only be climbed by elevator. I decided on the stairs. It was not easy for me because I'm afraid of heights. Nevertheless, I dared and ventured to the first floor. The height is between 50-60 meters high. I did not dare to go any higher, but nevertheless I could see and admire all Paris. There is a restaurant and ice cream parlor on the first floor. We ate the delicious and expensive ice cream and enjoyed the view.

Such an amazing creation and a proper work of art ! For outstanding views take the metro (Or bus/hop on hop off) to Trocadero station. You can spend ages sitting there looking at the miracle! We also went up to the summit. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance, else queues can be really long - over 2 hours. Night views are the best.

I was really excited to see the tower from every distance, near and far. But unfortunately the time is not suitable for us to explore around the tower. There was many people in queue and also outside queue. So we just go outside and take picture in Champs de Mars street. Next time when I go to Paris I hope I can go until the top of the tower.

The Eiffel Tower a landmark attraction in Paris. I...

The Eiffel Tower a landmark attraction in Paris. It is so prominent on the city landscape that you won't help but be able to see it numerous times during your visit to the city.

This is the tallest structure in Paris at 324 metres. Constructed in 1889 for the World Expo in Paris, this was at one time the tallest structure in the world. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the wrought-iron lattice tower is a masterpiece of late 19th-century architecture.

Having gone up the tower numerous times before, we opted to simply enjoy from outside during our most recent stay in Paris. During this visit we were saddened but understanding of the bulletproof barrier that had been setup around the Eiffel Tower. This wasn't there the last time we were here 5 years ago and means freely strolling under the tower is no longer an option for visitors. Now you have to stay outside the boundary, only entering the immediate grounds after passing through a long security queue.

A visit up the Eiffel Tower is something that that I'd recommend to all first time visitors of the city. The views of the city and being up close to this monumental landmark is a remarkable experience worth setting aside the necessary time. The experience is rather different but equally impressive during the day and night.

Note: If you are only wanting to see the Eiffel Tower from up close, the closest Metro Station is Bir Hakeim just 5 minutes away. For views and photographs which include the full height of the tower you need to walk back along Parc Champs de Mars to the east or walk along Pont d'Lena to the west. You'll shortly find yourself in position to take good pictures with the Eiffel Tower.

This was not my first visit and we chose not to pay the entrance fee and rather admire it from the bottom. It is beautiful but much more closed off than it used to be. I am not sure if this is permanent or just during renovation but I miss being able to stand directly underneath and marvel at the structure. As tickets are fairly expensive and limited in number I'd have thought that allowing visitors underneath would make sense and if the fence is permanent then maybe a smaller fee for this rather than climbing it. Also the fence was clear glass but still ruined the feel a little and made it seem very closed off. I do love the tower though

You can t come to Paris and not visit the Eiffel Tower. Take a guide tour and skip the lines. Saves a lot of time and waiting around when you can get up and down without standing in line or the weather for longer than is necessary. A guide will tell you all the great things about the tower but I recommended you take the tour bus around the city so you can see it from all angles and understand how dominating it is. You only need to go to the 2nd level, you can see everything from there and there are less crowds and waiting around. The view is spectacular and the additional stories of all the districts, landmarks and overall Paris history is a fantastic addition to the experience. Wear a hat and sunglasses and take water with you. If you are feeling up for it take the stairs but the cable car/lift had us up and down in no time with out any waiting.

Hey its the Eiffel Tower! View was incredible. Such as iconic place to visit. The grounds around were pretty as well. Lines are a bit long and crowed, but that should be expected. Wife got a little glass of champagne on the top and had a nice little drink to celebrate our anniversary.

Eiffel Tower like every other tourist attraction has long lines for security. You have to go through two checkpoints which adds to the frustration. The best thing to do is to buy a pass to skip the line. This will get you to the Eiffel Tower in a reasonable amount of time. There was many things to look at and do but honestly the biggest deal was the fact that we were on the Eiffel Tower! So we just enjoyed that. There are awesome views of the city. The food at least at the snack bar wasn t really that good but after a few hours of sitting on the Eiffel Tower you re almost willing to eat anything. The prices were reasonable for the food so that was a good thing.

I really love Eiffel Tower! It is an amazing structure that is visually nice to look at night and day. The crowds can be horrendous at the Eiffel Tower and chances are you ll be waiting in line to go up for quite a while.

There might be impatient people who will try and cut in front of you. You could also be potentially surrounded by people trying to sell you stuff and keep nagging you-and yes it is irritating after a while.

Still, it is a must-see with its gorgeous beauty.

Spectacular a nice place to go, experience different culture, city with heritage and lot to say. The eiffel tower with light work is majestic. Best experience ever.. Tourist destination.. Be careful of the surroundings lots of people and also locals selling stuff at a ridiculous price. Security really tight at the check-in point. Also there is a queue at times at the entrance.. Must see the view on the 2nd floor..

Queues are long for security check, then even longer for tickets. Walkers can only buy from inside the attraction and then the queue is still 45 minutes. Better than the two hour queue for all other tickets but still a long wait. When we went the top was closed - no reason given. Go to see it but don t be disappointed if you can t go up. 1* for the queuing and lack of info but giving 4* as it s a classic and is only slow because of the sheer number of tourists trying to see it.

So, 1st - if you want to skip long security queues enter from the back; 2nd - the ticket line to take stairs up is about 3x shorter and more scenic; 3rd - elevators down are free; last but not least...go to the very top

Magnificent views of Paris, we had a meal at the restaurant on the tower. The food was okay, but sitting in a window seat and being able to look out at those views more than made up for it. This was a wow moment on our trip.

For the best photos of the Eiffel Tower we suggest...

For the best photos of the Eiffel Tower we suggest visiting the Arc De Triomphe which provide some of the most central views of the city and tower. However, going to the top of the tower is worth it and not as expensive as we expected. We bought our tickets from the Eiffel Tower website for around 28 USD per person. We chose to get our tickets for 4PM because in the Winter the sun generally sets by 5 or so. The entire base of the tower is surrounded by tall thick glass so in order to get in you must go through security. Once through you ll need to wait in line with everyone else that has a ticket for that time. Even if you are 30-45 minutes after your start time they will generally still let you up but they won t let you up before your time slot. Once in line you ll go through a second security line before entering the elevators to go up. They can fit around 30 people each time so waiting in line can take some time depending on how busy they are. The first elevator is definitely a little scarier because it feels less secure but it takes you up to the first open concourse along with a where many will opt to stay. To get to the highest point you ll need to wait in line again and have a ticket that included a ride all the way to the top. Once through the second elevator you will arrive at an indoor viewing point. From there you can venture up to the top via a small flight of stairs to see from the outside although it is all fenced off so it s not as ideal for photos. Overall we enjoyed it but did not spend as much time outside just due to the fact that it is so cold during the winter months especially after dark!

So, you've been to Las Vegas and seen that version of the Eiffel Tower and thought, "Well, that close enough, right?" WRONG!
The replica in Las Vegas is only 1/2 the size of the original. Plus, since it it crowded into the Paris hotel, you don't get the perspective to really appreciate.
The original towers over the surrounding plain and the low buildings to dominate sky in a way that you just can't appreciate without standing in its presence. I found a lot of Paris to be overrated or just down right unpleasant, but the Eiffel Tower itself definitely lives up to the hype.

Great Monument and one of the must see in Paris.

Great Monument and one of the must see in Paris.

If you want another view that is amazing and with way less people then I would advice you to go to the other side just in front of the military school which is considered behind the tower.
Personally I think it gives the best view for photos.
Be aware of pickpocketing if you decide to go to the top. These people could be everywhere so be careful.
The view from the top is amazing during the day or even at night.
The tower has 2 restaurants, one which more expensive than the other. Both restaurants are great and I highly advice them specially Le Jule Verne

Whether you're lucky enough to have visited Paris ...

Whether you're lucky enough to have visited Paris or have only ever dreamed of going there, chances are you know of the French capital's most beloved landmark: the Eiffel Tower.

The Eiffel Tower, La Tour Eiffel in French, was the main exhibit of the Paris Exposition or World's Fair of 1889. It was constructed to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution and to demonstrate France's industrial prowess to the world.

World known site serving as the symbol of Paris and France. Excellent site to visit but be aware of the following: get tickets with time slot on website in advance, anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks before visiting at least; standing in line without ticket even in off season will take 2 to 3 hours easy. There are multiple security checks and lines, first to enter common area, then to buy ticket and then to get to top floor from 2nd floor.

One of a kind experience. I could say magical. The staff, special security is not friendly, but also not rude. Second floor was not too crowded and we took amazing picture, the view is one of a kind, we can see the whole Paris and feel the history behind this amazing historical town.

My first time to Paris and of course the impressive and gargantuan Eiffel Tower is the first place on my bucket list. If you can stand the waiting time for the queues, you will be met with one of the most spectacular views from the top of this iron structure. The whole experience was a good one and a technical 'tour de force'. I highly recommend visiting this romantic location, and I will be returning again soon.

Definitively buy your tickets online and of course go all the way up!

At the top they serve you champagne and caviar... not for free of course.

Also at the top look for Eiffel s office, they have a representation of it there.

Once you get your fill, go back down at the almost middle of the tower and have a look around there.

What can I say that everyone doesn't already know. If you're in Paris, this is a must visit. From the top you can enjoy the view of entire Paris. While you're up there, try and spot the Olympics logo on top of the sports complex on the SW side!

Have visited the Eiffel Tower many times, basically every time I visit Paris, spectacular views, although I highly recommend taking the lift to the top as all those stairs are a killer on the legs!

A must see as they always say. We went on Thursday around 10:45 with online ticket with predefined 10 am time slot. First line for quick checkup took few minutes and second line for x ray took about 15 mins and we were waiting for elevator around another 15 mins. So whole thing took 40 mins or less. But we expect if you went on another day it would take much more so I recommend to go early morning in the middle of the week. I went to floor 2 and 3. View is amazing and you can take beautiful pics. The line for elevator that takes you from 2nd to 3rd platform was the longest but I think it didn't take more than 20 to 25 mins. Most importantly you should stop at 1st platform while going down (can't stop at 1st floor while going up) because many people miss it while they have nice things: semi-transparent floor, ice cream, shop for souvenirs, some displayed remarks, and a room where they run interesting videos about tower construction. And they still have elevators that can take you from 1st floor to the ground so you don't have to take the steps if it will be long for you.

Incredible and amazing construction... A unique attraction that mixes modernity of the 21st century, be it the lights for example, and the amazing architecture of over a hundred years. A standing beauty where the world can be seen in its entirety through the tourists from everywhere in the vicinity of the tower. It is well served.. the area is full of street vendors that try to sell souvenirs to tourists... For those intending to travel up on the tower, the price is a bit expensive, but the real issue is the long waiting lines..
