It is an amazing building structure.
Great place to take pictures.
Great place to have a joyful night.
The tower is an amazing structure and at 6 pm it lights up. You can see it from all over Paris, the lines were not to long due to it being Feb.

Unfortunately so many barricades, perhaps for security reason. You can only enjoy from the distance. There's also 'flying squirrel' that just make the experience of the tower even weirder.

It was such a pleasure and great experience to see all the Paris's view from the 2nd floor of Eiffel Tower. A lot of tourists all the time that's why you should be there in the morning around at least before 8-9am to avoid the long queue of waiting. Definitely come back to the Eiffel Tower one day

So cool to see in person, not my first time and im very lucky to have seen it in the past. Security and lines now take up so much time and take away from the experience. There was nothing like their is now few years back. So if your going middle of the day, prepare to wait.
Got there early and bet the crowds as always its the best way to do it. Still it's a must do in Paris.

Never feel enough to visit this iconic building. I made a quick dropby during my business trip. I will definitely revisit with my family and enjoy the great foods few street away from this tower.

Must visit place in Paris. Try to visit the tower after 8pm you will really be amazed by the beauty of the tower. During night every one hour you can see the sparkling lights for couple of minutes which is really awesome. Don't miss the cruise at night near the tower.

A must-visit monument. Such a great view and setting! One star is missing because they need to sort out the signage for the entry and exit points! We spent about 20' trying to find where is the appropriate entry point and ended up making circles underneath the tower in order to find the exit.

It's famous because it was never supposed to stay there. Gustave Eiffel designed it for the temporary Exposition Universelle, and a lot of crazy other buildings and constructions were all around the Eiffel Tower during the Exhibition. But it looked so strange and became so popular that they didn't destroy it.

Eiffel tower is the perfect destination for couples. One cannot be bored of watching it again & again. Despite of being made upnof hard iron it gives soft feeling of love. One can travel to level 1 , 2 ,3 by huge passenger carrying lift. View from top of eiffel is beautiful & mesmerising. Seine river just beside it increase its charm by manifold. It is the most visited paid monument in world.

Get there early and be brave enough to walk to the second floor where you can catch a lift to the very top or join the long queue to catch a lift to the very top. Fantastic photos of Paris can be captured on all observation decks.

An obvious obligatory stop when in Paris. Yes it is pricey to go to the top but the views are pretty incredible especially if you have never been to Paris. I would suggest buying tickets ahead of time as it seemed like fairly long lines if you just showed up.

Its just fantabulous place to visit. It can take you couple of hours to reach to the top because of long que but it is worth it. There are three levels the best view you can get is from the third level.Try to visit this place at night because of the lighting effects.

When Gustave Eiffel s company built Paris most recognizable monument for the 1889 World s Fair, many regarded the massive iron structure with skepticism. Today, the Eiffel Tower, which continues to serve an important role in television and radio broadcasts, is considered an architectural wonder and attracts more visitors than any other paid tourist attraction in the world.

It's great. I don't know if we picked a good "leg", but we hardly had to wait at any point. Second story is the best view. The top is still pretty cool. If you're in Paris and not afraid of heights, you've gotta go.

I visited the Eiffel Tower a year and a half ago there are many little shops surrounding the Eiffel Tower and they sell very nice and fun items such as mini Eiffel Towers, Rainbow disco light toys for little kids and alot more over-all the queue to enter is very long but it's worth it but i'd suggest bringing snacks with you as the food there is very expensive

Just amazing.

Just amazing.
Mammoth of a structure.
Views from top floor are simply stunning.
Looks even great during illumination at night.

My old father had so much of fascination of Eiffel Tower and I am glad that I took him there to make his dream come true.

Don't bother taking the elevator tickets, I would say the stairs are much more enjoyable and you get to use the elevator when going down anyway.

Word of advice, expect staff from 2nd floor trying to persuade you to let them take some photos of you in hope that you'd buy them afterwards. The quality isn't amazing so I don't recommend bothering if you brought your own camera.

It has food, ducks and free bathrooms. maybe it could be good visit it at day to appreciate the green. But also, at night to appreciate the lights. You can buy alot of "llaveros" close to the tower

Eiffel Tower. One of the world's most iconic monum...

Eiffel Tower. One of the world's most iconic monuments just got even better, with the addition of two vertical axis wind turbines.
Installed by New York company Urban Green Energy (UGE), the turbines are capable of capturing wind from any direction and are located above the tower's second floor, 120 metres off the ground. They're already producing 10,000 kWh of electricity per year - enough to power the Eiffel tower's commercial first floor area. And as you can see below, they look pretty good. Called VisionAIR5s, the turbines are "virtually silent", according to a UGE press release, and they were custom painted to matched the aged iron colour of the Eiffel tower. the Eiffel Tower is arguably the most renowned architectural icon in the world, and we are proud that our advanced technology was chosen as the tower commits to a more sustainable future," CEO of UGE, Nick Blitterswyk, "When visitors from around the world see the wind turbines, we get one step closer to a world powered by clean and reliable renewable Energy. As part of the same renovation, the team installed LED lighting and 10 square metres of solar panels on the roof of the first-floor visitor's area. This solar set-up will heat nearly half of the water used by the two pavilion areas. A rainwater recovery system is now also in place to help flush the toilets. There are no set renewable energy targets in place for the Eiffel tower at the moment, but the upgrade contributes to Paris' climate plan, which aims for the city to have a 25 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, and for 25 percent of energy to come from renewable sources by 2020.

So Graceful

So Graceful
Our first day in Paris was spent looking for the Eiffel Tower and when we saw it, it was a wonder to behold. Both my husband and I were amazed at the sheer size of it. We also marveled at how the construction was accomplished without computer or new age gadget. At night, the light show was awesome. We can't wait to return

Believe the hype, I wasn't bothered with seeing the eifle tower but is was amazing. We were just going to go take a pic then onto the next attraction. We stayed over an hour walking around then walked all the way to the arcdt, along the river. Really busy though and got accosted by sellers of usual tourist tat. Just say a polite non merci and they should leave you be! Although if your kids want some eifle keyrings for friends, they are 5 for 1 so much cheaper than in tourist shops and are pretty much the same. It was a beautiful sunny day too!

What's a trip to Paris without going to the Eiffel tower? We purchased the summit ticket with a specific time beforehand which takes you to the top. Buy it before you go from the official Eiffel tower website. This place is super busy! There's quite a few stops on several elevators but it was great fun! Lots of pictures taken from every stop! I loved that you can also get a glass of champagne at the top!! Amazing views!!

Beautiful to see, it was more impressive than I had expected. Definitely best to see in person. Awesome architecture. However, there are Way too many hecklers around, and a pain to get around them when you come out of the security doors.

Was pleased i had the opportunity to see this free standing structure. Truly breathtaking. We managed to make it to the 2nd floor as the top floor was closed due to the weather (rainy). It wouldnt be a great trip without seeing the Eiffel Tower.

One note to visitors..
Be weary of the ladies who walk around with their clip boards with lots of names collected...they say they are collecting money for the disabled, but when you ask them for ID they get defensive and confrontational...their trick is that ask you to sign their petitions to protect disable ppl, then once you do that they ask for the money and they are persistent. Also watch for pick picketers that try to blend in as tourists...even if they have a family and kids...keep your eyes on your bags.

What can I say? To me, it's the most iconic monument in the world. All that romantic movies and pictures that we see next to the Eiffel tower, it's mind-blowing to see it in real life.
The pictures that I took were at 7am - go early if you want to be alone in your pictures you can avoid the crowds and to me, it really worth it

Our ticket was for 10:30pm, make sure you get there plenty of time beforehand due to security. It wasnt overly busy when we went but still took us around 20 minutes to get to the lift. Incredible views at night. Very windy right at the top so dont wear a hat like I did! Lots of pickpockets operate around here so be wary. Souvenir shops and cafes on the second floor. Prices for food and drink were actually very reasonable - even better than some restaurants I visited around the city. I haven't visited the Eiffel Tower during the day but I can say I really enjoyed it at night - the lights across the city are amazing to see.

Magnificent tower in the heart of Paris. Unmissable place. Even prettier to visit at night. If you do not want to queue too much and you are motivated take the stairs to the 2nd it is possible in 10 minutes for each floor. Think of the combined ticket for a few euros more to go up by elevator to the summit which offers a breathtaking view of Paris.

This has always been on my bucket list and the review might be a tad bit biased due to that.
The tower is great with a beautiful and breathtaking 360 view of Paris.
You could take the lift or the stairs although I d recommend that you take the lift for the way up and the stairs for the way down.
There are restaurants inside the tower and I d recommend getting reservations in advance. There is also a snack place on the 2nd floor.

Don t miss the dummy elevator guide on sitting on the outside edge of the elevator (see pic)

Everything you'd expect, only downside was the security we had to go threw 2 security checks to go up the tower each duplicated what the previous check had done, ok we understand the need for security but twice and the second was slowing down entry quite considerably? Why not put a single security barrier around the tower with a single thorough check to get into the attraction. But that's just a small gripe. Allow plenty of time in high season the queue was over 2 hours for lifts and nearly the same to walk up. The views and experience are what you'd expect, don't go to Paris and not go up you'll regret it all your life.

Awesome place to visit but hold on to your purse and wallet tightly. There are teams of pick pockets all over this place. However, the police do not mess around when it comes to protecting the public from these characters.

Great experience... Beautiful environment. River near the tower especially in night time is visual treat.when we went the elevator was not working for the top floor so couldn't experience the top floor. Shopping inside the tower is very costly . Viewing the city from the Eiffel is magnificent. While we get down from tower again elevator was not working. Love to go again hope elevator works well

One of the major attractions in the whole world , Eiffel stands tall and proud touching the Paris skyline. It is a no brainer whoever visiting Paris will first visit this grand structure. People find it as the romantic symbol in the romantic city of the world with thousands of flashes, camera clicks, kisses flying around. You can even go to the top and have a complete view of the city. Very crowded and better to purchase ticket online. I prefer to lay down on the lawn backside and just watch the tower. Bir Hakeim metro stop is just 500 m away. I always get down at Trocadero metro stop and view the tower from the esplanade. Tower looks absolutely stunning from there and you can capture the full view. The walk from Trocadero to the Eiffel is also pleasant. You gotta see it to believe it !

This is the landmark of Paris....great place to spend time with family and friends. Wonderful atmosphere.... enjoy the beautiful view of the Paris city from the tower. I visited over there in the year 2000 and guess by this time lots of changes have been made. If you wanna go at the top of the tower then you will have to spend lot of time and money.

A structure that is useless but irreplaceable. A proud creation of Gustav Eiffel which was decided to be destroyed after only 20 years of it's birth but the monument still occupies the heart of Paris for more than 100 years now. Paris is known by this iconic Tower, recently declared the most valuable assest in the world with a worth of 435 billion Euros. It attracts around 7 million visitors annually and adds 70 to 80 million Euros in French economy.

PS. I'm making these posts for my own memory and recording the events in a sequence they happened and this holds good for the future posts too

Landmark which defines Paris is a must see and climb if you are visiting Paris. Originally built as an entrance to the World Exhibition in 1889, the structure was eventually retained due to it's popularity with public and it's use as an antenna loader. Structure took 2 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 5 days to build and had hydraulic lifts helping it's construction in 1889. It aptly became the symbol of French engineering and steel making might in that era as the entrance to the fair where the countries across the world tried to show case their technological might. Don't miss the climb to the summit and the amazing view of Paris from there.

Famous tower located in Paris and built for world exhibition 1889.

Was to be dismantled in 20 years after it was built, but we all know that it's still there.

Most popular sight to be visited in Europe.

Should you visit Paris, I'd say you're idiot if you don't visit Eiffel-tower.

This was my first time seeing the famous Eiffel Tower and I must say I am very impressed. I wasn't expecting to see something super cool, but I was wrong. This structure is massive! I never realized how big it was. What makes this even more impressive is the history and the fact that this was intended for the world fair with the intention to tear it down. From an engineering perspective it's quite a feat! Overall definitely worth checking out if you're in Paris.

In nicer weather it might have been better. Personally I like the history and the structural feet that the tower accomplished. However it s not the coolest thing ever. I d recommend walking up the stairs as it has a shorter line but upwards of 30 minutes.

You can go to the Eiffel Tower and enjoy & see it on the screen in a Bond movie or a Rush Hour & feel great...you were there! Engineering marvel, made so many years ago. What can we say about human mind's ingenuity

Absolutely beautiful. Way larger than I expected in person. The view from the second deck is amazing and more than enough for me. If your smart enough (unlike me) to have tickets bought in advance, you could get tickets to the 3rd and tallest deck.

The Eiffel is very busy and has lines of varying sizes depending on the day and time. Even on a Tuesday, midday, we waited for around 1 hr to walk up. Well worth the wait, I suggest you take the stairs up to get a nice progressive view as well as a nice caloric burn for all those crepes you've enjoyed.

Note: The elevator can take you down regardless of what tickets you bought to go up!

Eiffel Tower, known as the Eiffel Tower, is one of the most famous landmarks in the world and is located on the banks of the Seine in Paris, France. This magnificent building, built on Champ de Mars, a public green area where the people of Paris frequently sit on the grass and sip their wine, is made entirely of iron. In the years it was built, it was astonishing to see people with an interesting design.

A day spent in Paris exploring the attractions. A good view from the top of the tower, I was lucky to see a night view with many shining lights. Good place for pictures and good restaurants nearby too. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend to visit if you are exploring Paris as there are many other attractions nearby.
