Each time you see the tower it is as majestic as the first time you view it. We love seeing it at night, all the lights flashing, it is truly a site to behold.
We went up the tower and did the tour the first time we were in Paris for our honeymoon and it was really awesome, learning more about the actual tower, the purpose of it being built, and just seeing the landscape of Paris.
It is truly a romantic place to be with your wife. We love it. We have gotten some bread and wine and just sat in the park talking, watching the Tower light up, just really cool
One thing to be aware of is all the merchants selling around the tower. There are a lot of 'official' merchants and a lot of people selling stuff on towels so they can quickly run away when the police come. It is not too horrible as we have found some great deals for gifts back home, especialy the kids.
If you are ever in Paris you need to go check this out! You will not regret it.

I recommend visiting at night when the lights are on for a more magical experience. The view from the top is very pretty

I love Paris in the August sunshine and you simply cannot go without visiting the Eiffel Tower.
Make you you go up when the sun just starts to set as the views are breathtaking and pay the extra and go to the very top ... even if you are afraid of heights.

Only 4-5 because it s a little too expensive for a crowded one hour of your time. Did see a wedding proposal up there though and that was nice ... she said yes.

We reserved as soon as our date was available, about two months before our trip. We wanted to see it in the daytime and at night so we reserved for 8pm in August. We came about 7:30 pm, went up, and had about an hour before sunset just after 9pm. We watched the sun go down and then saw the lights go on throughout the city from the top of the Tower, it was a fantastic experience! It was 11 pm by the time we came down, just in time to see the light show from the ground!

Iconic for a reason. Beautiful view of the city on top of the tower. There is a fantastic to take great pic of/with the full view of Eiffel tower. I forgot the name but everyone seemed to find it.

Been here so many times, but amazed everytime! Tourist spot number 1! The afriqan Sellers add also charme on it! Dont Bargain to much but help the seller!

What an eye soar! everyone talks about what a work of art but all I see is a deformed tower of metal. One star. AND the main reason I came here was to see Gustavus Eiffel who was apparently selling 18th century oil paintings but it turned out to be a scam and I got robbed by a 5 year old child. Very disappointing visit. Beautiful city, UGLY tower.

The tower IS pretty!! I love it! I can stare at it all day long. It's even more beautiful in the night. But I recommend you go in the night and also in a sunny and clear day. The photos were taken by Samsung S8 edge

It s a must if you visit Paris. It s a no-brainer. Make sure to buy tickets ahead of time and to have the express pass. It s truly enormous once you re there in person. It was never a feeling of overcrowded Ness. They do a good job of keeping people staggered. I wish I eat at the restaurant, but reservations are hard to get. The fun fact is that there is Wi-Fi at the very top of the tower! I was able to FaceTime my parents all the way back in the United States while on top of the Eiffel Tower.

Iconic structure for Paris and a place you just can't ignore. Movies have been made around the Eiffel and it's a place for couples to profess their love !! It's a common sight to see someone go on his knee and offer a rose or a gift.
The elevator is very crowded so please do take care of your money and passport. The security queue is very long and sometimes you have a wait of half an hour to just get into the area of the Eiffel tower. Then you need to queue to buy your tickets.
Do visit the 3rd level of the Eiffel as the sheer climb to 300 meters is amazing. The views from the 2nd level are good too.
The first level is a restaurant.
The area around the Eiffel has food and drink and the toilets.
Don't miss the sparkles at 10pm when this amazing iconic structure changes its illumination to a sparkling effect

Absolutely amazing. The view from the top is unbelievable, and has to be seen to believe.
It is 25 to go to the top. There are two levels to the tower. Each level has its own elevator ride. The second floor has a temporary (as of November 2019) bistro under a geodesic dome while the restaurant is being renovated. There are also small kiosks where you can buy coffee, tea and a small snack. As well as a large gift shop and washrooms.
The top floor has two levels, the first is a 360 view but it is inside and you look out through windows. The next level is a small flight of stairs to the outside view, that is caged in. It's not as windy as you'd expect up there. There is a washroom and a small kiosk that sells only champagne and caviar.

I saw this in the daytime and at night. If you can t do both I recommend going at night. If you go at peak season I strongly recommend you purchase a ticket in advance. Very often these tickets sell out up to a week in advance so don t wait if it s peak season. If it s not peak the tickets still sell out, but the que is often short or quick.

I actually recommend you go to the second lift and not the top. The top sounds great, but you can get the best photos from lower. When you to the top the iconic monuments become indistinguishable. Everything is just specs like dots.

Also instead of taking the lift straight back down take the stairs down one level. There you will find the restaurants- but ignore those. Instead walk toward the center and find glass you can stand on and look below directly under your feet! Also walk the perimeter and read many interesting facts about the tower.

The restaurants are very expensive, small fancy bites, but not all really phenomenal taste. Frankly you re better off finding places the locals eat and save your money. I recommend L as des Falalfel, Le Petit Vendome, Le Coliquecot, or go get some ice cream scooped in a flower shape at Amorino! #letsguide

Wonderful romantic place. Absolutely gorgeous!! possibly visit Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower. Even if you do not want to visit this world famous structure, you will see its top from all over Paris. In the night there was a five minute light show which has to be viewed from a distance to enjoy how magnificently people made this city a tourist attraction because of this structure.

Not sure why I had the impression that I did, but this was effectively a giant tourist trap.
There was very little to no open space. There were plexiglass walls and venders everywhere.
If you're visiting, I know this is a staple, but there are legitimately so many other places worth your time.
The views from the tower were great though.

It took me 3 days to get to the top. They're constantly closing it because they let too many people up. But what they don't tell you is that it reopens after an hour or 2. The sucky part is you have to do the line over again. They need a better system to get to the top.

Visit last year and fell in love...OMG!especially their hot chocolate

A destination to visit if you are in Paris. The symbol of LOVE and romance, the Eiffel Tower is truly magnificent and it does justice to what people say about it. It is mesmerizing. The shimmering lights go on every hour and it goes up till 1am. You can even go to the top of the Eiffel tower and have a panoramic view of the city.

The magnanimity of this iconic place leaves you speechless. Do not miss the top view of Paris. If you visit at night, make sure you are either half way (middle of tower) or at the top when the hour passes. The beautiful glittery lights give a feeling of silent fireworks.

Visit at least once in a lifetime.

This marvelous structure is an entire experience in itself! 3 things you absolutely have to do when at the Eiffel Tower - 1. See the brief dazzling lighting of the tower at night. 2. Walk up to the second floor balcony and experience the stupendous architecture of Paris. 3. Go up to the third floor balcony & show your better half how you feel about them :)

It is the most visited sightseeing from Paris - you have to visit it...!!!

We came to the tower after Versaille. We had pre-booked timed tickets to get up to the tower. Due to the strike, I was about an hour later than what was on my ticket. I was, however, still able to get in.
After arriving at the base of the tower, I eventually found an entrance where they did a security screen. I then headed to one of the legs of the tower which had a line and was able to get in line to the tower. I had a pre-booked ticket so it was in a smaller and faster line than the one that involved buying it there. Heading up the lift was interesting, beautiful views up the tower and the view of the "Driver" at the front of the elevator.
There were two stops but most of us exited at the top floor. It led to the observation deck as well as some of the shops inside. The inside area also had a few seats but most of the people were outside enjoying the view. You could head up some stairs to get a higher view from the tower. There is also another observation deck that you could catch an elevator up to the top. This was an extra cost that we had on our tickets. It can sometimes close depending on the weather and it says at the bottom of the tower what is open. On the top floor, there is an interesting room which was Gustave Eiffel's office.
You are also able to head down to the lower deck, either by stairs or elevator. This area has a few shops and food places. I also decided to walk down the tower which was an interesting thing in itself, walking through the rafters and looking at the beams of the tower.
It was something that was nice to do which is iconically Parisian. I thought it was a nice place for really beautiful views of the city. It seems like it is worth booking online rather than buying it there.

Nice one! It's surrounded by the glass wall and u have to pay to get very close to it or if u want to climb up. Beautiful park behind it and u can take wonderful pictures for memories

Simply beautiful. We went in summer (July) so had to stay a little late to see the lightings. We didn't have tickets so we stood in the queue around 8. By 9.45 we were on the top and the lights turned ON a few min later. It was not cold or windy but it was very crowded. My recommendation is to get there around 4 or 5 pm and takes some snacks and drinks with you. Spend time in the park and then when it's about to get dark go to the top.

There's a reason it is one of the most visited places in the world! The structure is flat out fabulous and you get a good bird's eye view of Paris from the first and second levels. You need to buy an additional ticket to get to the third level but the views from there are mind blowing.

THE INCREDIBLE EIFFEL TOWER!!! Such an ICONIC structure!! No matter how cliche it is to visit the tower, it's A MUST for everyone!! Seeing a photo of it simply doesn't compare to seeing it in person! In a photo, it's obvious that it's rather large, but in person, it was SO MUCH BIGGER than what I anticipated!! The base of the tower is so wide & spread out, & standing underneath it was jaw-dropping! It's so huge that even trying to get a decent picture of it is rather difficult without losing proper perspective of its size. There were tons of people there, so it took a long while waiting in line to make our way up each level & finally to the top, but once up at the top, we were TOTALLY stoked we stuck it out. The view from up there is completely amazing! You can see all of Paris from up there, & it happened to be late evening when we were on top, so the city lights made the view that much more incredible!! A MUST SEE!!

The eifel tower was very beautiful to see although it was a little dirty and a ton of pickpockets it was still cool to see as a first experience *I don t recommend carrying valuables*

I guess I don't have to write here much about the most famous building in France (perhaps the most famous building in Europe overall).
Just go there and check out this awesome building. It is just astonishing and you won't believe you are there while you will actually be there.

Fun fact: In the upper sections of the Eiffel tower there are some Souvenir and Snack shops, where you can buy stuff that is a bit overexpensive. The entrance fee is okay, as it is about 20 Euros for an adult when I visited it. It is absolutely worth it, the view from the top over Paris is overwhelming.

Historical landmark yet feels a bit over-rated. Looks stunning at night and every hour when the tower sparkles is a real sight.

It would be arrogant and presumptuous of me to even attempt to review this marvellous and astonishing wonder of the world! Absolutely awesome and inspiring. Put it on your bucket list!

Make sure you try and pre book your tickets to this, but also trying to get a semi quiet time to go, we were very lucky that at 1800 it wasn t busy because France was playing in the World Cup! Also make sure you walk across the river for some amazing photo opportunities

Super long queues, but it was still worth it. The Eiffel Tower is very impressive - it is hard to believe it was built 130 years ago. One of the few occasions when the top tourist attraction is actually worth looking at.

Visiting Eiffel Tower was dream come true. Wonderful place to visit. It was such an experience to see this huge tower. Be prepared for huge line ups if you are planning to go on its top. It s even more beautiful at night with sparkling lights on it. This place is very busy so have extra time. You can t miss seeing it anywhere you walk in Paris. One issue I noticed was place to use washroom. They just have portable ones so not a good experience over there. Overall very live place to visit. Would love to go again.

This is an amazing work of architecture. Eiffel Tower is worth two visits atleast once in day and once it the night as it looks much more nice with the lights during the night. I saw this during the day. I would go back here once more if i get the chance.

Beautiful, the tower is fantastic, see Paris of the top of Eiffel Tower is amazing. You can eat something, in the cafe top, buy a Eiffel tower jewelry in Swarovski shop, well, I don t have words to express a great experience. Very nice!!!

Beautiful place. People might say Eiffel Tower is boring or for lazy tourists, but you have to see it at least once in your life. We didn't wait long to get there (30min in line, heard worse stories). We decided to climb and it was great choice! Awesome view on the city and great feeling after reaching each floor. We are not very sporty, but climbing was like walk in a park, really. View from the top is great and breath taking, we were expecting more tourists, but it wasn't croudy. Try not to miss small exhibitions on each floor!
Must see it after dark when it sparkles, sounds cheap but looks great!

History just stood well as good as this structure. It is one the biggest structure but nothing amazing about it. My wife just pestered me to go to see it. When I asked her if she wanted to go to the top she said "no". We were happy to go the second level an d the view was amazing. Other reviews mentioned that the top was not as worth as going to the second floor. I can not say that since I did not experience the top. It was definitely very congested even though I booked it for a specific time online. I would have been better off just purchasing the ticket standing in the queue.

Must visited. From 20 to 21 there is no long lines. The tickets to the top by elevator costs 25 euros. Thought if it is good weather stairs can be a good choice to experience:) but down:)

The best Eiffel tower I have ever seen. Forget about romantic meetings on the top stage. It takes hours to get there and is so packed you would miss each other!

You can't go to Paris and forget about the Eiffel Tower. It's a must see! There is nothing like that in the whole world, and during the night it is even better, with all the lights. To get to the second floor you can either go with the steps, which are almost 700, or you can use the elevator, but you have to book it in advance.

Great tourist attraction. Not that expensive. Can walk up to second floor as well.

It was an awesome experience. We did the stairs due to not having reservations, and although going up was a work out, it was worth every steps the awesome views we had.

It is the bestest place I price and bigest tourist attraction in all over world it is very nice go there in weekend but on weekends high crowd on this place it's hight is 324 meters it's too long it has 3 floors.it is named after engineer Gustave Eiffel whose company built and designed the Eiffel tower it took two years to built After dark, the tower was lit by hundreds of gas lamps, and a beacon sent out three beams of red, white and blue light. Two searchlights mounted on a circular rail were used to illuminate various buildings of the exposition. The daily opening and closing of the exposition were announced by a cannon at the top.

If you go there yo are very lucky because many people cannot go there . And so many people can go there so effortlessly . I wish might go France and visit the Eiffel Tower duly. Can any body send me a feedback about Eiffel Tower ? E.g. how many floors are there, what can I do f I go there, are their foods halal? One of man greatest monument. The view was grand and unique, uncomparable to any. Get your tickets for elevator up, you can choose to go up to level 1, 2 or the top. For us, level 2 is really good enough. You can view many of paris attractions from level 2.

I will never forget the day I visited the Eiffel Tower. It was so beautiful when I first saw it ! It was a great experience for me and my wife as we visited this place on our Honeymoon !! A must visit place before you die

You can't miss the Eiffel Tower when visiting Paris. However, it's better to buy the tickets online before going there so you can enter faster than having to wait long. Also is better to visit it during summer because it's quite cold on winter. It's a experience which is very worth of.
