We wanted to go all the way to the top but it wasn't possible because ofthe strong wind. It was possible just to the second floor an it was great. The view was amazing. The entrance fee is is around 17 Euro to the second floor and 28 Euro to the top. I will post a couple of pictures.

I went in January and the lines were not long. Though, this is a one and done tourist attraction; meaning once you go never going back would suffice. It was interesting hearing the history, especially as one of the lifts is original to the first build. But the top is very windy and from what I hear from friends is even in the summer it can be quite brisk up top. Be sure to bring a jacket

I have nothing to add to the numerous reviews other than you gotta get up there.
If you're healthy with good cardio, use the stair all the way to the second floor; otherwise use the lift/elevator, it's safer.

Classic sight seeing spot of course but it's actually quite impressive, even from the bottom. There's a small park around that you can enter for free (there are security checks), climbing the top costs a few bucks (top floor ~20 for adults and ~10 for people <26yo). There is some waiting involved that you can shorten by booking in advance. In the evening there's a "light show" (maybe just around christmas) that I didn't like much but that's a matter of taste.

Honestly, it's shorter and wider than I expected. It took about a day for the charm to set in but once it did I wanted all the pictures I could get. Seeing the tower from far out has more charm than close up but definitely adds to the Paris feel when it's behind you in every picture!

What am amazing place, and how lively! The best time to visit us obviously evening when you find the rock solid tower in full glitter which is an amazing sight to watch. The city looks super beautiful from the top. Day time is good for taking clear photos (and if the weather was supportive ). I boat ride around the city is recommended abs is readily available.

You know her by countless images. This right here is the face of Paris and it will be in your photo album if you visit this city no matter what.

Go early when it's dark and surrounded by clouds. So worth it~

Its a nice tower. If you go up it has a view of paris. The tower has three different levels. Level one and two are the same price of 16 euros I think and level 3 is 21 euros and is also the highest level. With level 3 you have to change elevators at level 2. Long line ups but a nice experience

One of the most iconic landmarks in the world, its graceful structure is something special. Go to the top and join the exclusive club of 150 million other people. You ll need a ticket to go to the top, but don t need one to get on the grounds. Expect to wait in a line to go up or down any level. You can find some space to move around away from crowds in the middle. Champagne is for sell at the top for 9.

One of the most iconic landmarks in Central Europe, and hence a must when visiting Paris!

There is somewhat of a maze to navigate the many security controls and checkpoints before you can enter the tower itself, but the view is well-worth the effort. It might be good to keep in mind that there are four different lines depending on your selected route up to the tower:

-One for those who hold a pre-purchased ticket.

-One for those who wish to buy an elevator ticket on-site.

-One for those brave souls who wish to tackle the first two floors via the staircases. (keep in mind that it is possible to purchase a elevator ticket from the second floor to the top here, since it's no longer possible to take the stairs all the way).

-One for those who only wish to enter the four-star restaurant on the first floor of the tower.

It is also well worth to remember that there is quite a long wait to the upper elevators, and the same goes for the way back down again, since the top stairs are sealed off from the public.

To summarize the most important things to keep in mind:
Go late in the afternoon to avoid the most intense crowds. Stay hydrated, but make sure to only bring water/soda in plastic bottles, since no metal cans are allowed on the premises. Decide before you go which route you will take, and Most Important of All - dont forget your camera!

We walked up to stage 2 and caught the lift to the top (no stairs accessible to the top) It was worth walking up as you could stop at various stages and enjoy the views rather than just at stage 2. We visited early evening so also saw the amazing twinkling lights and beam of light from the top. Worth every cent.

Getting into the Eiffel Tower can take some time but the view of & from the top or 2nd floor is always rewarding. My favourite time is after sunset, the tower looks magnificent while wearing the beautiful lights that make it glow from the inside.

From the tower, the best view is just as the sun sets, as you see the city of light begin to come alive.

I am yet to Tire of seeing the iron lady of France, and f you can, take a boat cruise to see the towers sparkling light from 9pm.

The Eiffel tower is the trademark of Paris, France...

The Eiffel tower is the trademark of Paris, France. With the tower being 984ft, it s kind of hard not to notice it. The tower has a restaurant, radio and television transmitter and more. Gustave A. Eiffel created the tower to enter it in the worlds fair. It was made with wrought iron and had medium wind resistance. Gustave started in 1889 and completed in 1910. Gustave A. Eiffel created the Eiffel Tower. Eiffel oversaw the construction with such success that in 1866 he founded his own company and soon became known for his wrought iron structures. Starting in 1872 he attracted foreign contracts, and in 1877 he created over the Douro River in Porto, Portugal, a steel arch bridge 525 ft in height.

The Eiffel Tower is a landmark and an early example of wrought-iron construction on a gigantic scale. It was designed and built by the French civil engineer Gustave Alexandre Eiffel for the Paris World s Fair of 1889. The tower, without its modern broadcasting antennae, is 984 ft high. The lower section consists of four immense arched legs set on masonry piers. The legs curve inward until they unite in a single tapered tower. Platforms, each with an observation deck, are at three levels; on the first is also a restaurant. The tower, constructed of about 7000 tons of iron, has stairs and elevators. A meteorological station, a radio communications station, and a television transmission antenna, as well as a suite of rooms that were used by Eiffel are located near the top of the tower.

Eiffel s work combined expert craftsmanship and graceful design. Completed in 1884, it was for a time the highest bridge in the world, winning Eiffel s factory a worldwide reputation for excellence. Eiffel cast Frederic Auguste Bartholdi s colossal statue Liberty Enlightening the World, which was dedicated in New York in 1886. Soon after, he began work on his greatest project, the building of the Eiffel Tower. It was completed in 1889 for the celebration of the centennial of the French Revolution (1789-1799). Eiffel was not a popular man when he started building the huge steel-frame tower that would overlook Paris. The structure was just too different and the critics didn t like it at all. In 1887, the leading artists of Paris signed a petition to have what they regarded as a monstrosity torn down immediately. Fortunately for Paris, their call was ignored. And though Parisians didn t like it at first, they began to grow fond of the structure they initially called a Cyclops and a skeleton. The Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889, just in time to show off for the World s Fair, being held that year in Paris. The tower was also a sign of things to come. Eiffel was taking full advantage of a new building material, structural steel. With it he took the first step in creating what would become the modern skyscraper.

The imposing tower-constructed of 7,000 tons of iron in 18,000 parts held together by 2,500,000 rivets rises to a height of 984 ft and continues to dominate the Paris skyline. In the early 1890 s Eiffel gave up the daily management of his business and became absorbed in the new science of aerodynamics.

Emile Nouguier and Maurice Koechlin, the two chief engineers in Eiffel s company, had the idea for a very tall tower in June 1884. It was to be designed like a large pylon with four columns of lattice work girders, separated at the base and coming together at the top, and joined to each other by more metal girders at regular intervals. The company had by this time mastered perfectly the principle of building bridge supports. The tower project was a bold extension of this principle up to a height of 300 meters, equivalent to the symbolic figure of 1000 ft. On September 18 1884 Eiffel registered a patent for a new figuration allowing the construction of metal supports and pylons capable of exceeding a height of 300 meters

Eiffel s clockwork precision had enabled him not only to meet his deadline, but to build the structure with the loss of only one life, that of a worker who fell from the first platform
We actually didn't visit but love to visit

No visit to Paris would be complete without a tour of the Eiffel Tower! It s visited by millions of people annually, and gets extremely busy. Do not even bother trying to get in without purchasing a ticket in advance. Also, you can get a skip-the-like ticket to the second floor, but not to the summit (third floor). I recommend booking a tour, as they purchase the tickets for you, and provide some history. The views are spectacular, and it s a lot of fun to visit the Tower. But note that it gets quite chilly especially in the winter months, so make sure to wear a warm jacket!

Constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the entrance to the 1889 World's Fair. The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81 level building, and the tallest structure in Paris. The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level's upper platform is 276 m (906 ft) above the ground. Every person's dream to visit here at least once in life time. I am so lucky to visit here 4 times.

Fist time I saw it 2 yrs ago and I longed to see again....and I did it and I was as impressed as the first time. It's iconic. One of those things one must do at least once a lifetime and I did it twice and would go back any time. At day its impressive and at night its incredible...don't miss it out

Another man made marvel, which is I think is included in the list of seven wonders of the world. This 300+ meters structure is totally made of steel and constructed by French engineer Eiffel, which was named after him. We visited this tower at day time, we were fortunate that the line was short as it was raining a little. We took the lift to the first observation deck, which has glass panels so you can see all around. The first observation deck is big and you can walk to all four sides and see the various views of city. It has a restaurant and restrooms. Then we took another lift to go to the top deck of the tower and the views from there were breathtaking. You can see almost all of Paris, the beautiful Eiffel Tower gardens and the Seine river just beside the tower. Surprisingly this deck also has restrooms. But the line for coming down can be very long sometimes. All in all a magnificent experience.

Iconic tower of Paris in French. Easily the highest tower for miles.

A must see spot from the ground to feel it's size. Must go up to see the epic view from the top, middle and lower floors, 3 different levels with different prices and different ways to go up.

Always check before hand the opening and last entry timings and stick together as many people and tourist so it's easy to get lost when you are up there.

Go at sunrise and sunset is best.

Lots of pickpocket and all surrounding the place and area as this park is a tourist Hotspot so please stay vigilant at all times! Enjoy this icon in paris!

Merci!

Well worth visiting this 19th century marvel of an iron tower that took over two years to build, rising into existence through the contributions and involvement of engineers, architects, astronomers, mathematicians, artists, geologists, industrialists and between 150 to 300 laborers, of course.

A paramount location to experience wonderful 360 degree views providing unparalleled vistas of Paris and its twenty "arrondissements municipaux" (neighborhoods/districts.)

The Eiffel Tower is the most magical place on Earth! It glitters every night after sunset, and it is a truely breathtaking and mesmerizing sight. One should definitely go there at least once in their lifetime to take in the grandeur of the structure.

Absolutely beautiful piece of architecture. Mesmerising and majestic at the same time, photos never do it justice. It s spell bindingly romantic whichever way you look at it. Quite the marvel really, despite the numerous street touts selling all sorts of wares and the rather unsightly fences keeping crowds from the grass in front of the tower at the garden.

Should visit it both day and night if you have the chance. Didn t take the trip up though, still not sure if it s worth the entrance fee.

Very surreal look and feel. Loved seeing it. Buy a stair ticket (available on site at time of entry only) to save time and money if you don t mind the 701 stairs up to the second floor. You can take the elevator back down if you re tired or the line is short. The scenery picture I ve included is from the second floor. The line for the elevator to the very top was really long so we didn t go... but I was told the view was neat but actually harder to see most of the individual sites as they re too small to make out the detail from up there.

it was my pleasure to visit The Eiffel Tower was built to be one the main attractions at the Paris World's Fair in 1889. That year, the World's Fair covered the entire Champ de Mars in Paris and its focus was the vast constructions in iron and steel that were the great industrial advancement of that time.

First called the 300-meter Tower, it soon took the name of the man who built it, Gustave Eiffel. The Tower opened to the public the same day as the World's Fair, on May 15, 1889.

Beautiful tower, but awful lines, didn t even bother going to the top. A must see monument, but beware of the many types of scam artists. There will be people pretending to work for a charity, do not donate. There will be a perimeter of unlicensed vendors on towels outside the tower. Do not buy from them. They sell items cheap by buying their goods for cheap from retailers outside of Paris. You can get the same deals if you do the same as them. Beware of just about any interaction with strangers as police are there mainly just for security purposes. If you go in with this mindset, then you will have a wonderful time.

We loved it! We didn t hit any crazy line. The views were amazing! I would definitely suggest coming down by the stairs, it s not from all the up there so it s a short-ish climb down but it s pretty awesome experience!
Trying coming here at night as well, if you get here at the right hour it sparcles.

So tall! Truly a must-see in France. I saved so much time climbing from the ground level to the first connection point and would recommend everyone does this! Exercise and time saved in line - also, it's really a wonderful experience!

What a marvelous piece of architecture this is. It is so biiiiig. By looking at photos you can't even imagine how big Eiffel tower is. Go to the 2nd level for a nice view. Going to the top of the tower means waiting in long lines in front of the elevator, so avoid that.

The most beautiful city in the world! The Eiffel Tower is such an amazing experience with historical eternal beauty! I adore it. When I want to charge batteries, I visit the Eiffel Tower. Many stories were being told there! The new garden with the lake, where you can find birds, waterfall and beautiful nature gives me a peace. My sincere recommendation!

Going on a weekend expected heavy crowd and a long line to be present there. Inspite of a long line reached the lift in about 1.5 hours and very thoughtful of the authorities to keep sprinklers hallway the line to cool off the scorching heat. Now I suggest to take the summit ticket to travel up to the 3rd floor and pay more 6 euro extra to travel even up further to see the history of Eiffel Tower. It's very very windy up there and the view of Paris is breathtaking from up. There is a chocolatier and a small bar serving champagne up there. I had a wonderful time watching the sun along with a glass of champagne. More than the view I was marvelled at the architectural wonder they have created. My mind was just imagining how did they build this massive tower and from this height u actually feel weak looking at yourselves. It's been rightly named as one of the wonders of the world and will be visiting Paris again just for this .

Such a beautiful place, especially at night.

Such a beautiful place, especially at night.
I really love it there
The romantic vibe is all over the place
Can see all the view from the top of the tower and it's so beautiful.
Every hour there will be light show in the tower for 5 minutes, it makes the tower looks gorgeous.

The Eiffel Tower is a must-see in France. It iss much larger than I thought it was going to be. My wife and I had an excellent time. The elevator right up is a little shaky but the views are incredible. There are plenty of tourists. I would recommend going at night and getting a view of Paris. There are plenty of places to take a picture but my favorite is the bass looking up.

I loved it! The view is amazing, you can see the city of Paris 360. Quite windy but it's okay because there's cafe to go and warm up. Personally, I do not think that it's worth it to go to the highest point of the tower, the view opens pretty nicely on the 2nd floor and also you can see everything clearly not through metal fence!
