EEI Security Review

If I could give less than one star I would. I have been trying to cancel my account since May 2018. The company refuses to cancel anything until I come into the office. I no longer live in the state. It s an almost 11 hour ride to get back to the office they want me to go into and cancel. I was told that I cannot cancel until I physically show up at the office. Poor customer service. I even asked if a relative of mine could go in and cancel it if I gave them a letter or emailed the company directly and I was told that I had to come in person or they would not cancel my account

Horrible company, this company is not willing to work with you at all. I had to move and wanted to cancel my contract. They wouldn t even give me a discount for paying the balance in full. Do not sign a contract with Eei. Things happen and they will not work with you to resolve a issue.

I have recently moved and I am living alone for the first time, EEI has helped me feel safe in my new home. The technicians and staff are all friendly, helpful, and thorough!

I prepaid for a year in advance and was assured a service tech would assist with an alert on my system. A month later when I saw my CC statement it was higher than I was quoted, so I wrote and requested a refund plus cancellation of my service, since a service tech NEVER reached out.
A year later now I am getting another bill and my alarm still doesn't work properly. Who's monitoring my account that cannot tell there is an issue?
Incompetence is all I can presume. What kind of "service" company doesn't reach out to it's clients for more than a year???

I was a customer for over 6 years. I would pay a year in advance. Cancelled the services via phone and via email as instructed. They refunded a portion of what I was owed. Would not recommend company.

Been with them over 25 years , great service until now , my alarm wire got cut , I called at 5:15 p.m. the tech said he didn't have the materials to repair , IM 55 YEARS OLD ! I HAD TO SLEEP IN MY BUSINESS OVERNIGHT ..... WHAT ? YES I DID , THIER WORK TRUCKS SAY 24 HOUR SERVICE .... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED !!!!!!

if I could give less stars I would this guy roy he sucks so bad he swears knows everything but doesnt know squat, and is rude and lies about when your tech will be out just wortless

Very bad service and company. The only thing they do well is sending bills. No service oriented at all. Too many companies offering modern technology and these guys have no way to follow up. It doesn't matter if you have 10 years with them it's just that small companies don't know why they don't grow, it's just that, they don't care for customers.

Justin just left our home. I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with him. He was polite and thorough and we appreciate his service in the military. We are going into our 3rd year as your customer and we could not be happier.

I m so sorry to give one star to EEI SECURITY but unfortunately I m so disappointed.
I have a gas station. I hired them 2018 for security cameras and Alarm.
I used security cameras one year and system down. I called them they came and the said that NVR and cameras broke because of shining, Roy send a new estimate NVR plus cameras.
I called another company they came I paid for service cost and they said just one camera burn all others NVR and cameras good.
I called them (EEI) they came to my store they bring back four more cameras but not at all and charge me $356

If you were me what do you think?!.....

If I could rate this company less than one star, I would.

I recently helped my elderly mother sell her home in Florida. As a result I canceled the coverage. First, they make it really hard. They required me to send an email--cant be done over the phone, even with the password or phrase. (I learned this after being on hold with them for a while.) No matter, I happily sent the email on January 14 2019. I requested that the coverage on the property be canceled. They then sent a reply thanking me for my patronage and confirming the cancelation. The continued to send my elderly mother bills. They are now asking her to pay for February to March for coverage. I sent them a copy of the email and asked them to explain what they are doing as a business. BE CAUTIOUS OF THIS BUSINESS--they do NOT have a the best business practices. I have since opened a complaint with the BBB.

I was a customer for 6 years! I was getting new windows/doors and my service wouldn't work for 2-3 months during the process so I canceled for that time. I paid for them to come and reinstall the sensors in the new windows/doors and re-up my service. After the work was done I signed the paperwork and did not realize that they signed me up for a completely new 3 year contract. I sold my house 6 months later - and they are holding me to pay for the full 3 year contract - even though I was a customer for 6 years and no longer own the house! I emailed Commonweath Security Resources right away and told them to cancel my service - and they told me I owed for the full 3 years regardless of how long I've been a customer. I've never been more disappointed in a company's lack of compassion for long term customers as I am with EEI. I will never use EEI or Commonweath Security Resources again. And I will make sure everyone I know hears about my experience so I can prevent them from being treated in the same manner.

I tried to get an estimate from them a couple of time and was very difficult. Did not felt like was an important client to them
