You have to jump threw countless hoops just to get help and don t count on help now when you really need it your waiting a week or more nobody answers your calls but operator Belmont county by far worse place to deal with unless your on drugs it seams like

This place is a joke! I have tried to have my child support case switched from Marshall County for over 2 yrs Marshall County even sent copies of my child support case (which was astablished in Belmont county)and they have yet to call me back or switch the case. Also here recently I have called several times for my mother in law who is in desperate need of help, they have been closed because of Covid but I have left messages on her behalf (over 12 times total) but they haven't called either her nor I back!! Horrible especially when people actually need help. I thought thats what they were designed and there for. I must be mistaken since obviously they get paid to ignore those who need help.
This place is a complete joke. The case managers never answer the phone and never reply to messages. Call the supervisor and all she says is the case manager is busy with interviews and will eventually stop answering your calls also. It's been going on 2 months now of trying to get ahold of somebody. They took away my girlfriends foodstamps and her kids health insurance.
I am a single mom, my sons dad is around but not working. I actually have a good job and do every single thing my case worker asks of me and somehow is still questioned, get sent papers about fraud all the time.. Even AFTER i prove i am legit it doesn't stop! I know soo many people just in my work place that fraud the system but i can gaurentee they have never been checked up on or given a hard time! I work, receive only medical for my son, i get no food stamps or medicaid for my self due to my pay and STILLLL am CONSTANTLY bothered and offended by these people!! Instead of worrying about screwing someone who works 50 hours a week and only receive medicaid why don't you worry about the million of people who don't work by choice and continue to collect for free. It litterally makes no sense! Why is the system like this!? I am out of Belmont County and my case worker is Stephanie Hall! Something needs done!
You can't ever get ahold of anyone!! Caseworker is out of the office for a week so I spent 2 days trying to get a hold of her supervisor who still hasn't called me back. You call one time and one lady is the supervisor then you call back another time and someone else is the supervisor!? Very unorganized! And the guy up front that answers the phone is so rude!! Don't be a receptionist if you don't like people!!
Don't expect much from people here. If it's anything pertaining to them actually doing work....forget it. I been on both sides. I have been the debtor, the receiver of child support benefits. They are obviously only there for a pay check. I Had to deal with an agency literally hour away. You would not believe the difference.

If I could give less stars I would. Something needs done about this place. You can't get ahold of your case worker, like at all. They turned our food stamps off because they didn't have to proper papers they needed for a job but didn't inform us that they needed additional information and just shut them off on us. We have 4 kids and can't afford food for them. No information as to when we can expect them to be turned back on because we can't get ahold of our case worker. Pure and simple neglect. We've had to use our bill money for food for our kids and now our electric will be shut off. Thanks job and family services. Your the best.
Lost my job. On Medicaid for a brief while. Case worker there was awful. Not clear on what all forms I needed to send in and took forever to do anything. Worst part was all the times I called with no answer and no returned call. Absolutely horrible experience. Luckily I didn't have a dire need.
If you need help in this county, don't worry about people working here. They are very professional and polite.
Only gave one star because negative stars is not an option. This is the absolute worst case of caseworker negligence I have ever seen in my entire life. I literally needed to get hold of my caseworker's supervisor to contact her.
