Found EDGE energy through a local solar coop. Had a 4.7kw solar system installed on my flat-roof home. The installers and electrician did a great job and worked quickly. The solar system works well.
I have only the highest praise for the product quality from SunPower and the Installation, service and support from the Edge Energy team. All my research indicated SunPower was the industry leader, so it makes since they would only certify worthy companies to handle the installations and service. My 12.6kw system was installed in Jun'18, I've had a few start-up hick-ups, but Edge Energy helped me resolve over the phone or had someone out ASAP to make the repair. Even during the virus when service teams were being grounded; Edge Energy put me on a waiting list and immediately notified me when their techs could return. Finally, the techs I've spoke with are not a bunch of fly-by-night people; instead they are well educated and experienced professionals. If more stars were available, I would give them more!
EDGE Energy did a phenomenal job in my home! I was very pleased with the work completed, and am reaping the benefits of my house being more energy efficient. Highly recommended!

We were introduced to this company in 2014 thru a PG Weatherizing Program offered by the town of Bladensburg. And even though we had no idea what to expect - the workers did a wonderful job of weatherizing our home. The foreman for this group explained everything beforehand, and the staff did exactly has they were told (no goofing off, no unnecessary talking) everyone was professional and about their business. Better late than never for KUDO's.
I contracted with EDGE Energy after being referred to them by my electric company. I was indeed a little nervous about entering into a contract to have many deficiencies identified by EDGE representatives repaired at a home I had only lived in for four cold winter months. I decided to hire EDGE Energy to complete the weatherization project at my home and this has been by far the best investment I have ever made. The team from Edge Energy did a fantastic job for us on an energy audit! Henry performed the 4 hour audit of our home. He was professional and thorough, showed me things that would likely be recommended in the report, and quickly followed up when I had a question later. From there, Gary went over the report and recommendations, answering the many questions I had about why and how. Over a couple of calls, he spent at least an hour explaining the process and what the impact would be of each suggestion. Weatherizing and air sealing are new to me so I appreciate the details. The crew that was on site for 2 days were all professional, friendly, and left zero mess, even between days. They actually repainted the attic door when it was slightly scuffed from the insulating process. Our home was respected and covered from debris and foot traffic. Elder explained what they were doing to my husband, who was home during the work, and my husband felt he really knew his stuff. Henry also came by both days to check on things. The rebate process was handled by Gary, and we didn t have to lift a finger about that. We definitely recommend Edge!
One of our main concerns was temperature comfort and consistency in our 3 story, 25 year old home. The work was completed about a month ago, and I m pleased to say there is a noticeable difference! We no longer feel a marked temp change as we walk to the top floor of the house. And I noticed on an exceptionally warm day that the inside of the house didn t warm quickly even with the air off (just testing!). We had a blower test goal and beat it!
I had a question about one of the components recently (about a month after the work), and Gary just as promptly and professionally addressed it.

Edge Energy did an energy audit for us, then sealed the house, installed a new roof with excellent insulation, and an ERV fan to ensure fresh air. They were a delight to work with throughout, very friendly and professional. We needed some follow up work due to quirks in the house, not bad work by Edge, and they did it promptly and without charge. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
Edge Energy rebuilt my solar panel system and I cannot say how pleased I am. They were professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. I recently had a great experience with EDGE ENERGY. They came behind another contractor (EKO SOLUTIONS) and made the repairs from that company and finished everything else in two days. The other company took 2 months and still didn t complete the project. They came in very professionally and saved the day for me.

I couldn't be happier with the work done by Edge Energy and its partners! When Henry came out to do the audit, he was professional, courteous and so witty. Then came the work. They installed a high-efficiency fan in my bathroom which is very quiet and looks very nice. In these trying times, the installer was outfitted for both of our protections. Then came the insulation. 17" of insulation in my attic and sealed up all of the places where cold air was coming in. They also installed a cover to the attic stairs with a zipper opening should we ever need access. They rerouted the venting in my bathroom fans and installed insulation in my basement. I know this will have a HUGE impact on my energy bills. Sarah May at Edge was wonderful in answering all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them and in fact have done so to my neighbors and friends.

Since the pandemic hit and our whole fam is in the house constantly, we are using more electricity than prior to the quarantine. We decided we should increase the size of our system, and we contacted Edge to get the job done. In dealing with them a second time, I found our five-star review held up! We got outstanding customer service and products again. We are incredibly happy with our original and expanded systems and that we chose Edge both times. They communicate well, meet their deadlines, are respectful when working on/in our home, and make sure that we are happy with any work that they do for us.

We cannot say enough good things about Tony and Edge. The whole team was fantastic and respectful to our family inside our home. They quickly installed our system (22 panels) by the end of December so that we could get our tax credit! Everything went incredibly smoothly, and they were helpful along the way with educating our family about the system. We breezed through the inspections from the power company and the county with no issues, and our system has been up and running since then. Many of our neighbors have commented on how nice it looks. As a matter of fact, some of them didn't notice for a few days because they installed it so quickly and it blends in with our roof nicely, and it is on the front of our house. When we are ready to install another system, Edge will be the ones to do it!

Going with edge energy had been hands down one of the best decisions I've ever made. I had wanted a process by which the process from identifying the issue to resolution will not be much of a pain. And Edge energy made that possible by coordinating the process from beginning (energy audit) to end (fixing the energy issues). The home audit was very thorough and explained well to me by Robert, and then Gary seamlessly coordinated the approval process for the PEPCO rebates (all I needed to do was sign), so that Robert and the Devere insulation crew can come in and work on the insulation, air sealing, fan vents, and many more. They worked tirelessly and protected the space. They were unfazed by the coldest day in winter as they complete some of the work outside! In summary, I am amazed by how effortless the process has been for solving my insulation and temperature control issues in the house. Thanks to Edge energy for truly being a one-stop shop!

After edge energy finished insulating my home there were not anymore air leaks anywhere. In the wintertime once the door is shut the house is sealed tight from the weather. It makes a big difference.
The team did an extremely thorough job air-sealing my attic and crawlspace as part of the Maryland state program. They did way more than I expected and wouldn't leave until they were sure everything was right. Very professional!
EDGE Energy installed 22KW system on our new home. I must say, they are extremely detail oriented folks. They were very transparent about the whole process. When one of the micro inverters went bad and the team promptly replaced it. They have a passion for the green energy! They always addressed to my, frequently stupid, questions. When I was looking for other installers, none of them were as clear or prompt in their responses to request for quotes. There was a small incident which resulted in a small damage by one of the EDGE Energy workers to the roof trim. EDGE Energy promptly paid for the repairs. The point is, accidents can happen even to the best of us. What counts is if we take responsibility for the mishaps. EDGE Energy took responsibility for the small accident. They are just a pleasure to work with.
We decided to take advantage of all the great rebates out there right now. We live in a town house and the upstairs is almost always 10 degrees warmer than the main level making it tough to sleep at night. After Edge Energy came in and did their thing... we feel maybe a 2 to 3 degree difference. I was worried that they would use the attic access in our closet and drop insulation. They completely encapsulated it leaving no trace of them behind. Can't wait to experience the difference in the winter too. Crew was on time, neat, professional, curious... they did a great job. I highly recommend Edge Energy.

Excellent experience with EDGE Energy working with on an energy audit last fall. As the result of the audit and a state grant program, they installed a new hot water heater and insulation in our attic. THe resulting improvement in heat/cooling bills has been great! Highly recommend!

Edge Energy has installed solar power system on three houses that I own. In each case, they did an outstanding job. Their crew is experienced and work very hard. They were very careful with my property and involved me in decision making when options were available. If you want the best, go with Edge Energy and SunPower.
I own a home that was built in 1931. There was no installation in the ceilings at all. There had been some additions to the home that where very unique, to say the less. The ceilings were not your traditional ceiling. A lot of cuts. There are roofs on top of roofs. Other companies looked at the job and walked away. Edge not only did the job, but did a superb job. Simone was very helpful with making sure any questions I had was answered. Robert, the auditor/project manager, was phenomenal! I can't say enough about Robert. Just know you would not have to worry about whether the job is done correctly, professionally, and on track. If I could I would give them more stars.

My wife and I thought that this was some kind of scam but it's 100% legit. -- Thorough inspection, hard working installers and a detailed wrap-up review inspection. I would like to comment on edge energy. The people that came out to the house were very nice and courteous. The weatherization that was done saved me a lot of money and the information that they left me with was very helpful. Overall everything helped me save with my energy bills.

wow, what an AMAZING company! We required additional insulation so sought Edge Energy for attic insulation and they professionally accomplished the task. We were very impressed with how thorough the workers were: before placing insulation, they did diagnostics on the energy efficiency throughout the entire house, making sure energy was not low in any area. After they finished adding additional insulation, the energy efficieny increased significantly about 20-25%. For anyone seeking good quality attic insulation, this is the company for sure.
I love Edge Energy, like the name said they are extremely great , the work was beyond my expectations, I own a old house but was renovated on 2012 . There was no attic insulation and no installation in the ceilings, my house was cold in winter and hot in summer time and my electric bill was always very high. Edge energy came in my home and did all the work and seal my doors. My electric bill went from $200 almost every months since a live that house to $36 a month. Unbelievable hein but it is the truth. I highly recommended EDGE ENERGY
