Beautiful resort, sea spinave - all from the side river then the sea throws out to the reptile - disaster.

Noisy pool and restaurant. Not really a five star experience. But on the other hand, the personnel is very friendly.

Excellent hotel, staff was fantastic and anticipated our every needs. This is a definite go to vacation spot.

Nice area and beautiful surrounding....no private beach and the hotel is in need of some updating rooms and facilities... Staff very friendly and attentive...... Pool is green colored and in need of a clean. Good food at reasonable prices for a resort..... Massages I feel could be cheaper. Also has a games room which is a plus, for those rainy days.... Visited in August, which is rainy season.... So beach is pretty much a no go. High waves and dangerous swirls. Overall a happy stay.

Food was amazing and more varieties were available to choose. The staff was well trained and educated people. Their hospitality was unique. Hope to go again.

The beach is wonderful and so is the very large pool. Stayed in the rooms adjoining the pool which was convenient to quickly go in and out of the pool. Night time ambiance was very nice and can hang out outside by the pool or outside the room as it is very nice and calm.

The food was really great and guests need to remember to bring a pair of full length pants when coming into the banquet hall for dinner, otherwise they will provide you with a sarong to cover up if your wearing shorts. Experience was 5 Stars all the way!

Huge pool and great food... Rooms were bit small. But the hotel atmosphere is so beautiful and calm. Great view. Love the place.

Wow what a experience, amazing property. Nice pool, bang opposite to beach. Spa was good, very good ambience. Restaurant service was worst then pathetic. Huge crowd all the time & no hospitality at all. Food taste good.

Everything is wonderful apart from the food this is in the morning great noon also everyone what he tastes but in the evening there is almost only spicy food, which does not like everyone

Staff was pleasant. Food was very good. Locals are on the beach sitting staring at the guests behind the fence. They want to sell tuk tuk rides and gifts. Weird experience. Should at least be warned about them.

Such an amazing resort near Bentota. Huge rooms with private balcony, huge swimming pool, private beach, large restaurants, game rooms; what does not this place has. Amazing property.

A really good experience with such a helpful staff. They guided us well around the place, helped visit us nearby locations as well. The food is really nice specially the prawns.

Very good place for family. Of course as you could see comments this si not a 5 stars European standards. But they are doi g evrything for you to be comfortable. Staff is available and sympathic. Food is realy amazing and very good quality. Of course no hamburger pizza or schnitzel. You are in Sri Lanka. Tgey have tsdty and delicious Curry tikka chicken, sambol, and all vegetables spicy of course. The pool area is great and even the hotel was full you never need to run to get a sun bed. WE were in The Palms before. I highly recommend the Eden Resort.

It's one of the finest resort in the area. Bang on the beach, large swimming pool, well appointed rooms, good breakfast spread. Several options for drinking and dining.

A wonderful hotel for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The staff are always friendly and polite without exception. The complex is well-kept and the cleanliness is nothing to complain about. A real culinary highlight. The rooms are a bit old and a bit shabby. But you can accept that. The positive aspects outweigh the rest.

A very great hotel in Sri Lanka, is right on the beach. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Every day there were little surprises or figures made of towels on the bed. The best, however, was the buffet. In the morning and in the evening there was a huge selection of local and international dishes, live cooking, a salad bar and dessert. It always tasted fantastic. We would love to choose the hotel again and again.

Greatly situated hotel for trips, train and bus connections, close to the city, the hotel is almost all the best

Nice location and property, but the card system for pool towels is horrible and do not loose the card as they expect you to return the pool towels cards and the room key card and will not let you leave unless you return both. Also the beds and comforters were dirty. Such behavior and service not expected from a five star property.

The views of the hotel were very beautiful, the pool was warm and sweet, the food was very good, the view of the room was very amazing, and the games available were squash and others ..the crew was smiling and kind

A beautiful and a massive resort with excellent service. The full board buffet provided with some excellent delicacies. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The place looks a bit old but it's fine from inside. Friendly staff are ready to serve you best.

The drinks take some getting used to because of the local spirits, but if you know what tastes good to drink.

Adequate hotel area, many all inclusive guests, the want to get their money, only a restaurant with half board free of charge.Minibar is checked after checking out, so the taxi has to wait for us a 3 star hotel.

My husband and I were there on our honeymoon from 6/6/17 to 6/15/17.

The hotel complex is large and clean. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The rooms are a bit small but perfectly adequate since you are usually only there to sleep and shower. The room service came every morning, cleaned everything and laid out fresh towels.

The selection at the buffet was plentiful and varied for all three meals. National specialties were also always offered. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dilan and Yowan in particular.

You can usually find Nico in front of the hotel. The ideal contact for cheap excursions. Whether a short trip to the supermarket or a boat tour through the mangroves for two hours. No problem! He also speaks German very well.

There is also an Ayuveda spa area on the hotel grounds where you can get fantastic massages.

Various bars and restaurants invite you to relax and linger.

All in all, we were incredibly happy with the hotel and the location. We will definitely be back!

Superb service from the staff and great food all the time although locals were packed in the hotel.

Even though this hotel is rated for five stars, it is let down by it's Food but in the other area's it was of excellent

Great trip to Sri Lanka! The hotel is clean and the staff is pleasant. Only downside: The discretion of the room maintenance staff. After a long flight we wanted to stay in bed to recover. But early in the morning, slamming the door, talking aloud with a party of laughter. Impossible to sleep. We ended our night on a lounger by the pool. Apart from this inconvenience, everything went well. Little information for future tourists: they do not speak a word of French and their English is average. They all speak German perfectly! Too bad.

First of all amazing staff who were extremely friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of our stay. They always keep their customer first above everything else. Food is average but overall one of the best resorts I have stayed and also this can be recommended to anyone

My Lanka ... After the Riverina hotel closed for renovation, Eden Resort is a favorite hotel! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail! It can be a calm measured rest and, if you wish, - on the contrary, dynamic and eventful! Amazing cuisine, programs for every taste and of course the highest standard Lankan hospitality supported by a powerful and well-coordinated team! Love this place

Before 3 months it was heaven. But now all went upside down. Worst customer service. And the rooms are not even cleaned properly. After requesting also no one cares. I dont even want to review this way. But im so worried about my fav hotel. Please be concerned eden team
