Price too high and very unprofessional massage completely dislike..

Very friendly and helpful staff, very good, rich buffet, service and cleanliness good. The beach at the hotel is public, as a river flows into the sea there, there are undercurrents and debris that has been washed away, which makes swimming in the sea not always possible with pleasure. You can take a boat trip to the adjacent shore, where you can swim in the sea. Large pool with pool bar. Good location.
Overall recommendable hotel.

We had a great time during our stay at the Eden Resort & Spa. Breakfast and dinner have been really good, there was a wide range of food to choose from. We tried almost everything and everything tasted so good. Especially the waiter Zoysa Danushka put a smile on our lips because he was very courteous, attentively and kind. Also the house keeping was kind and they did their job very well.

It's incredibly cute and fun to watch and feed the chipmunks around the pool area. The WiFi is free, extensive and fast. The cuisine is delicious and varied. The pool is huge with several palm islands and the best thing there is the pool bar with bar stools in the water! Entertainment is very important; on Friday evening there was a big, well-lit, stylishly decorated, loud beach party that was directly adjacent to the hotel property. The beach is wide, expansive and long flat into the ocean. The water temperature always feels the same as the tropical outside temperature. The hotel service is great-you feel like royalty.

Hotel was superb the hospitality was good. But the food was not upto my taste so in my point of view food is not much great.

Good resort situated in a nice surrounding. Ones side opened to sea. Bar is open to the swimming pool. Very inviting swimming pool. Spa, bar, gym available. Buffet is rich with different menus and varieties

I attended a wedding at Eden Resort. Delicious food with a three course menu. Good arrangement and superb service.

We stayed for 14 nights. Extremely clean rooms. Food was amazing, delivered to room and so many varieties. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruits, yogurt and eggs. tea and coffee. Super!
We got a balcony room and it was so worth it, room opens out onto the balcony overlooking the big beautiful swimming pool. WIFI was supper speed.
The staff are lovely and super friendly, if you need anything there are more than happy to help. Special thanks to Rajitha and Nandaraj.

Overall good place to stay at Beruwala.Staff especially the front office are very courteous and friendly and so are the housekeeping staff. <br/>Wonderful view from the beach, room facilities and size are okay, buffet not a larger spread..anyway can recommend..

A warm welcome awaits you... The breakfast and diner spread are wide and delicious . They did try some Indian stuff but I don't think they were very successful ! The place is right opposite the beach which is quite clean. The evening walk by the beach was very enticing . The rooms were pretty decent. Avoid the ground floor ... If you fail to draw your curtains you will be in the big boss house! Everyone will watch you

One of the best 5 star hotel in golden mile of bentota, super friendly staff, well maintain spa including water sports centre.

Twice rested with his family in this hotel. Everything is fine, the service is just great, without extortion and begging. People do their job conscientiously. If questions arise, they are resolved immediately. The rooms are not all freshly renovated, but clean, comfortable. The territory is small, but well-groomed. A lot of greenery in the meadow, there are no squalid umbrellas, there is enough shadow and so Lovers of black tan places too much. Sun beds are wooden, comfortable, in sufficient quantity. And, as a rule, if you have chosen for yourself a certain place, then this is how it is assigned to you by default. The staff is intelligent and efficient, everyone has a good memory, they learn right away, they smile, they serve quickly. I repeat, no one asks for a tip! Just nice to leave them then) The beach is clean, cleaned early in the morning every day. The water is also clean. Do not believe those who write about the river with sewage. Yes, the river near flows into the ocean. But for us personally this is a plus - the water is not so salty, the eyes do not corrode. If it does not storm heavily, then it is quite possible to consider fish that are tweaked by algae from a rope, which fences a safe swimming area. Feed here just to satiety. Food for every taste. In addition to traditional dishes and other varied seafood here, even oysters are served at the buffet once a week. It is worthy, by the way. Every evening there are some entertainment events. Who likes to hang out noisy, can spend time at the pool bar. He is in a room with air conditioning, though, they sometimes can not cope with a huge amount of tobacco smoke. For lovers of silence there is also a bar on the top floor. He is in the open air, sometimes it is stuffy there, but everything is compensated by a chic look.

We spend a perfect week in mid April. Generally very good hotel and especially very caring and friendly staff. Clean room, nice view to the swimming pool and to the beach, very good food for different tastes.

Hotel was perfect choice for a family holiday in Sri Lanka, it was clean, food was nice, staff were friendly and facilities are good enough to spend the time within the hotel premises

We stayed here for a few nights, and all I can say is, it was an amazing experience. We had great rooms, good hotel staff service, yummy food.

If you're an early sleeper, you might have a bit of trouble. There seemed to be music playing loudly each night till about 9.

The Eden Resort & Spa is one of the best places where I ever had been! Sparkling clean and cozy. The location is perfect, only 2 hour driving from Colombo airport. Very good SPA. Big variety of the food and the food is very tasty. Very professional staff and perfect work organization. I would like to say big "Thank You" to THARANI. I think that she is one of the best people working there. She had helped us a lot on arriving and we got the room exactly that we wanted. Also, she had organized our late check out without any problems and presented us beautiful gift. Every time when we had met her, she asked us if everything is good and if we are satisfied our stay in the hotel. Thank you THARANI! You are the best!

We had 6 nights here and it was generally excellent 4* quality. The staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you. The pool area and pool are kept spotlessly clean (don't be put off by the slightly strange green colour, it's the tiles). Sunbeds aren't plentiful at busy times but the "garden" team always managed to find us a couple (a 100 rupees tip helped I think). There is a small, safe, swimming area cordoned off in the sea but the waves and current really prevent any actual swimming. The beach stretches for about 1 mile North and is mostly soft white sand. Also, the beach vendors are not too persistent. If you want to visit the town (1 mile away), don't be afraid to take a tuktuk from the hotel entrance. They only charge 200 rupees (80p) for the round trip and are very reliable.
We found the buffet food at breakfast and dinner consistently good and varied and a great way to sample some authentic Sri Lankan food. The hotel puts on some generally low-key entertainment most evenings and there bars are comfortable and not too expensive for half-boarders like ourselves.
A couple of minor gripes: the WiFi is patchy at best and our room was a bit "tired" and not consistently re-stocked with water etc.

We were 15 days in Eden Resort and find the hotel great!
The service, whether the food, the front desk, or the room was always very friendly and accommodating.
My son needed a doctor and the hotel helped immediately and inquired about the condition.

On the last day we had a problem .... our flight was only at night at 2.10 clock and we had the day before 12 o'clock from the room, that would be 10 hours to pick up on the pool spend !!!!
I have decided to pay the room and dinner for myself and my 12 year old son. So be careful when booking!
All in all we had a great holiday in Sri Lanka and would love to come back

A very large hotel with all rooms having a view of the swimming pool and gardens. The hotel extends on to a beautiful sea shore. The menu in the restaurants are not designed for Indian palate.

Such a wonderful place to stay!!! Unbelievable nice Garden and Pool area directly on the beach. Best Service outside and inside. Beautiful rooms and sooo friendly stuff. We was here for two times and we will come back again as soon as possible (Covid)

Listed as a five star barely a 3 it's a building site working until 01.30 am noise all day from early morning

We really enjoyed our stay. Food excellent and attentiveness of staff was good. The lounge bar service was wonderful with personlized attention, Saturday night with live music. The pool was relaxing even though very busy. Many indoor games too were available.
On the negative side , our room did not have any particular view, which made staying indoors rather boring. Even though watching the Sun set was beautiful.

This place was soooo good. I went there for Christmas the whole place was lighten up nicely and the food was limited there tho but the service there was the best the food was also tasty its just that it was a little low on quantity

Had excellent experience. We stayed Sunday night, but still they had nice buffet with delicious food even though only 15 rooms occupied. Specially love there Brinjol soup, it was superb. They maintain their standards. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.

The hotel and Sri Lanka were great. I can also recommend the hotel. Nice rooms, to feel good, with modern air conditioning and lighting.
The food is also very tasty and varied. Very nice and attentive staff. The loungers are sufficient and the staff takes care of towels. The sea is right on your doorstep and the whole atmosphere is just fun. The gym is small but adequate and has good air conditioning. The hotel is in a quiet area so there isn't really much going on outside, which can be seen as a disadvantage.
Of course, there is a TV in the room too, where there is only one German channel, but over time it changes to English, which we couldn't explain. Was like that everywhere, but didn't report it to the reception either. We had a cockroach in the room three times and reported that to reception. They were there immediately and fixed the problem. Anyone who knows the Asian region knows that this can also happen in a good hotel.
Animation could have been better. Sometimes it started when it was still supper and sometimes it wasn't anything special. An event was also offered once a week on the beach, but you had to pay for it, which I didn't like.

Not suitable for relaxing! It is located next to a disco until the wee hours so loud music that I can not scarf (I'm straight awake) The food is very very lean and offers for Europeans little to no choice! The pool is minni and with a depth of 1.5m rather a wading pool! The bartenders need 1 hour to make a drink! Unless you contribute a euro! We booked all inclusive but had to tell the room number when ordering! SO ONE cheese !! Attention another rip-off is the late arrival the room will be charged again! We paid 40 for 4 hours sleep after 15 hours flight etc! So I advise against it! Reception does not speak a word of German with all stand providers (excursions etc) Top German! Think it is all said! Alas at AllInclusiv the imported alcohol is charged separately! Update the noise of the disco has now become much better since we were exactly this full moon weekend here and this is doused properly! On the part of the hotel we did not receive any information and had to go for it!

The hotel is located at the mouth of a river that flows through many villages without a sewage treatment plant.
The water and sand are full of brown foul-smelling foam at low tide. Really disgusting. The water is only salty at high tide.
