A beautiful hotel but old and tasteless, and the swimming pool is a green color that fills the soul if it is blue.

An amazing place, with good food!! However, the swimming pool is quite shallow and if you're there for a swim, sorry mate!! Also, a tad careful if you decide to have Shisha, ran in to too much charcoal...

I wanted to make a booking on a date but when I called the receptionist said fully booked. When I checked online there were rooms. Seems like she was in a hurry to go somewhere since when I called back there was no answer. Why would I book the hotel when these people are not bothered?

The staff and the quality of service is very high. They are very flexible and always looking at making your holiday better. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Food is great. Wonderful experience.

The nicest hotel in the area. Very well maintained area, everything was very clean. Food is delicious, there is a great selection (we had all inclusive). Very nice pool area, great garden and right on the beautiful sandy beach. Very nice staff. Nice rooms, almost all with pool and sea views. Pure relaxation, 100% recommendation :)

A good beach and a generally nice hotel. Rather silly that a beach resort and spa requires trousers for the dinner buffet. The food is hit and miss, with the typical awful hotel buffet desserts.

Good buffet, good location, friendly staff, room is ok.

We went for the Sunday lunch buffet. (The day-out package) The pool is ideal for children. The food was good and the customer service was great.

After a long journey, we received a very friendly and warm welcome from the staff. The check-in worked without any problems. The staff were always very nice and made all our wishes come true. Problems such as a defective door lock were also quickly resolved.
Our room was spacious and modern. Apparently we had a family room because it was connected to the next room with a double door. For us not disturbing because the neighbors were quiet, but it was very noisy. The furniture was partly a bit worn, but not bothersome. The bathroom had a spacious shower.
The food was varied and from my point of view there was something for everyone. On the negative side, it was noticed that the cocktails at the bar tasted different for each employee. The waiting time for service in the bar was sometimes too long.
The pool and the outdoor facilities are really very nice, the pool chairs are assigned by the staff and there are no annoying towel reservations.
The beach in front of the hotel is cleaned daily, but we didn't swim there due to the dirty water from the river. It is recommended to take the boat to the other side. There is a wonderful beach there. We also went on trips with the Beach Boys and everything worked out wonderfully, so don't worry.
The prices in the hotel for example. Drinks: A beer costs around 4 for 0.6l. Wine is quite expensive 0.2 4.5 house brand, local spirits are cheap, but imported ones are more expensive.
We didn't like the price policy in the hotel. There were still various taxes and service fees added to the prices shown and the conversion made it very confusing.
Outside the hotel, alcohol is only available in the wine shop. The prices are printed on the cans and bottles by the government. The sellers try to charge wrong prices, so be careful.
The location of the hotel is very far away from the "big" sights. But we knew that beforehand, so no negative point from us.
We can recommend the hotel unreservedly and will definitely be back again.

Fantastic all round, food was excellent. We were there 3 days. Staff was so hospitable, very courteous and helpful always with a smile. Would recommend this hotel to all my overseas friends and family too

Best part liked about this hotel is its location next to the beach and swimming pool.

It is one of th best place to get relaxed. They have many activities going on over complete day. Either you can play wholy ball in pool or go for river safari or enjoy water sports.

Place is good to have sun burns near pool and beach and in cocnut tree garden.

Staff is very polite and welcoming and responce time good.

Rooms are good, though can not say the best. I like old wooden furniture. But, some modern features are absent in room. I was notnable to adust room temperature. There was central switch to switch off lights while going out. Lights in bathroom were dim. No electric sockets near bed for charging mobile and laptop.

Variety of restaurants available within the primices. Being Indian I like very few preparations. So, cannot comment on food. Other cuisines that I didn't try might be good.

Overall experience was very good.

Good place in the down south. Can have a good view of the sunset. Food is average for us since we had a local buffet. Restaurant has a dress code restriction for males which is a bit disturbing. The locals in the village have access to the beach. So if you are a foreigner please adhere the regulations by the hotel. We can have early check ins and check outs which was good.

Great 5 Hotel in Beruwala. Rating you have to look at here typical of the country. You can not compare that with Spain. Food is great. The bar could be better. Zulange waiting times. The rooms are individual and are completely sufficient. Gym and other sports facilities, such as squash are available.

Very nice vacation, great food, friendly staff, great service, great natural beach

Well ... it works ... I say so. More or less satisfied, except spa ... massage is out of the question ... for 2 hours I ordered it, after an hour already canceled. The woman that I had is out of the question !!! When facial massage I should think more if I would survive. Sincerely nice staff ... often too nice. When eating mostly does not want to be disturbed and no conversation ... I have to say I can not speak English.

Good hotel also suitable for longer stays. I had HP. Is also sufficient, as there are many options for eating within walking distance.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are very clean, but could use an update.
Breakfast as a buffet offers everything that travelers are used to from other regions.
The dinner buffet is also very rich and varied.
Tasty vegan dishes are also offered with both meals.
The pool is very well maintained. The loungers are in good condition.
Free Wi-Fi throughout the facility.
Those who want to support people walk along the beach and get involved with one of the sometimes annoying but also friendly salespeople.
Here you can take a tuktuk ride with locals for little money. The tour guide will not take you to places there.

In Hospitality I would rank the best as all the staff during the stay of 3 nights of my group they treated like their babies and took care of us in making our trip most memorable.

Good hotel with sea view , large pool area and very good buffet dinner

As for me too big. But there are advantages: territory, variety of services, focus on tourists. Suitable for those who are looking for a company.

Very Bad experience....never seen such worst size rooms and bad food quality in a five star property.
Poor service and staff cannot understand English as well. Can be claimed as 3 star property but definitely not 5 star. If you want real good service and food find some other place.

We moved around the entire Sri Lanka, it was our last destination after 6 hotels-cities, we wished if we started from Eden.
Extremely comfortable stay, lovely staff and management, many fancy entertainment; sites activities, food and views.

We stayed 14 nights in a triple room. Food and hotel staff Excellent. But rooms NOT Spacious at all. Very much congested. Washroom more like a Air craft toilet.

Our stay at the Hotel Eden was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the Tui tour guide. In the crisis they left us completely alone

Horrible experience from the day of check in to the day of check out. They have a bunch of arrogant staff who threaten the guests and cheat them by double charging. Rooms are very small and once you have paid they will allot you the back facing smaller rooms.

A fantastic, relaxing holiday with many great encounters and animal experiences ... Just great! The excursions with the air-conditioned buses were also very nice, relaxed and pleasant. Very friendly staff. Nice spacious rooms with all necessary amenities. Only downside the sea was quite wild, so there was always a red flag and therefore prohibited to swim. The people of the hotel can of course do nothing about this. A pity that there are people on the beach. That always accost you to sell your trips. But really a top hotel!
