Very friendly staff. Is really ready for you. Perhaps some people stumble over the shape / layout of the rooms .. but there is enough variety. Occasionally use your imagination. Furthermore, all good!

Reasonable hotel, 4 stars (just) not worth it. Good place within walking distance of the center, near the central station. Rooms not too spacious and found it somewhat bare, nothing on the walls; you would expect that in a design hotel. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel close to the city. On 11-11 there was a carnival on the Vreithof and it was nice to see hordes of dressed up people entering the city during breakfast. Neat rooms (view not great), delicious breakfast, price is firm.
Generally nice design hotel! The integrated bathroom design takes some getting used to, but everything is very clean and spacious. The location is great, right near the train station. Parking was not a problem either. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Not the cheapest place to stay, but well worth the money.
Beautiful hotel, the rooms are very modern, quiet and clean, 200 meters from the train station, there is a supermarket opposite the hotel. Walk to the old town. When arriving at the hotel. Snacks and drinks are also available. Feel at home.

Very stylish. Location is great. There is the 1 star deduction because there is no refrigerator, no air conditioning in the room and unfortunately no partition for the extra bed is available, although it would be perfect to do it spatially. The bathroom has seen better days, but is clean. Unfortunately, the ventilation is not all that far away. I would definitely come back again. On cool days in spring or autumn XD.

Location was good. 4 minutes walk from the station and extra 8 minutes into the city centre. The atmosphere is quite cosy in the winter. Clean place to stay as well. The staff were always there to help and friendly. Would surely recommend!
Room large okay, not super clean stains on the walls and lime scale in the shower area and on the shower head. Bed was bad. I felt the springs through the mattress. Furniture was also no longer tight in the paint. Price / quality ratio is not right for my feeling.

Staff very friendly, but booking a room with big bed instead of 2 single beds was not good idea. In small prints it appeared to be room WITHOUT daylight and still 2 single beds with thin top matrass to make it one and you will still sink in the hole in-between the two beds. Then the design room is a bit strange with a glass wall looking from bed to toilet v.v. No privacy on the toilet. See picture.

Friendly staff.Standard room has few amenities. My 2nd window was screwed shut due to being broken. No A/ C. Temp was 32 C outside. Very hot.

A super nice hotel nice rooms and super friendly staff .we had booked a room for two nights we were told we had slept one night in the evening our grandson was dying so we were checked out at 10 am we got a tidy night and breakfast refunded on our reckless without us having asked super neat
You have to be careful when booking here! If you use booking agencies, as usual for business travelers, then it is not that the rooms have no windows. As a result, the rooms are dark and you get almost depression. The dark but the many broken details to hide something. The room was always a bit dirty and broken by the overall atmosphere. That does not have much to do with design.
But what really upset me is the service or the communication. I found out shortly after checking out that I forgot my jacket in the closet. I called directly and I was told that they answered. I had to call 6x and write e-mails and nothing has happened yet and I did not get any feedback. I'm sorry, but that's absolutely impossible. Especially when cleaning the room the jacket is found. Now I'm missing the jacket, I've tried everything, and the hotel is dead. I even directly the cost of delivery for shipping. What to make of it?

We had a great room and the location was superb! Breakfast was good but due to Covid it s not as free. Everything was clean and we felt that they were on top of the hygiene regulations.

Slept badly, in our room and next to our room stood the climate control units and air conditioning units .. so noise all night. There is also a condensation drain pipe on it .. You can hear it dripping all night because the condensed water falls into it. As if you are trying to sleep next to a leaking tap. When reporting to the counter it was said that this was a known problem ... nice that this was not reported in advance :-( ... outside of this to fine service. Nice breakfast, rooms neat and clean, nice base base!

We had a very pleasant stay. Quiet room, hotel is very well located right next to the station and the bridge to the other part of the city. Nice to speak at the reception and clean spacious room with good dark curtains and cozy decor. You can choose not to have your room cleaned and there are two types of pillows you can choose from, we found a plus!
At first we did not have a room with air conditioning. Normally not such a problem but during our stay exactly a heat wave of 30+ degrees. Could be moved to room with AC at extra cost.
During Corona time no buffet at breakfast, but well looked after. The breakfast lady was clearly a bit stressed by the situation and therefore a bit "strict" with everyone. Don't know if I think it's worth the 17.50 pppd.

Stayed five nights at Designhotel Maastricht. What do you mean design ?? Fierce colored wallpaper and black furniture under a gray layer of dust. This design has had its time. The room has no air conditioning just a silly fan. There is a lot of nuisance from an air conditioning unit intended for other rooms, which is located under the window in a dirty courtyard and that makes the sound of a stationary truck. Sometimes goes out for a moment and when he starts again you immediately sit up straight in your bed ... The view is on a wall. To use the bed, carefully lower yourself (!!!!) otherwise you sprain your bottom on a hard board. The mattress is shabby thin and when you lie down you can feel the metal springs piercing your body. The bathroom is large and fairly clean. The breakfast is very good. Delicious sandwiches and all types of fillings. It takes a long time before the tables are cleared, it seems that they are waiting for them to do 10 at a time. Maybe this is policy. Despite the delicious breakfast and the very friendly and hospitable staff, we will certainly not be back.

There is little to say about this other than that it is very good. I am not easily enthusiastic about a hotel, but everything was well organized here. There was always someone at the front desk, covid19 was meticulously taken into account, there was friendly staff & everyone was very helpful. In addition, the room was very clean and nice nespresso cups in the room. Chapeau to this hotel!

The loudness at night was a real turn off at this hotel. Figured out it was the air-conditioning outside. Had a nice breakfast and good experience with the personnel.
For a 4 star hotel this was a letdown. The room was small and impractical. There was not even a wardrobe. A niche with 4 coat hangers is everything. Nowhere a drawer for storing underwear. Our clothing had to stay in the suitcase in the middle of the room for 4 days. The radiator in the bathroom made an annoying noise even when it was completely closed. To open the refrigerator you had to move the seat. The shower door did not close properly so that the floor was always wet after showering. For the price that you pay here, there are better hotels in Maastricht.

What a nice hotel, centrally located in the city. Nice base to explore the city. Cheerful cheerful lady at breakfast, who asked if you had slept well ... (good beds, so yes!) Recommended!

The bathroom was dirty, we had room 395, it doesn't have airco and will cook you alive in July. Tv doesn't have an HDMI.

The location was perfect and the room was good. Nice and spacious and nice bed. The shower had cures, became cold and then very hot, so be careful with the shower. The breakfast was not at all what we expected. 2 slices of cucumber and a cherry tomato for 2 people .. is not enough if you are used to eating lettuce or something green in the morning. Nutella, peanut butter, cheese and salami was the only thing that was available as sandwiches .. even just what I don't eat ... having indicated this, we were told that I should have indicated this in advance. When no one had told us this should. After all, we don't know what to expect from breakfast .. breakfast was an unpleasant and disappointing experience.
The attention and location is excellent, the breakfast a delight, our only complaint were the beds that were 2 in 1 but were separated at times and my husband and I slept a little uncomfortable for that
Stayed here for 2 nights, the service was good, location aswell, great breakfast in the morning, the downside in the room was that the bathroom and toilet didn't have any privacy at all, overall a pleasant stay
The location was very convenient. The staff was amazing. Every time I spoke to someone, they were very accommodating and friendly. The bathrooms seemed to be a little dated- but everything was very clean. The only thing I would change is the mirror at the end of the bed. I don t want to watch myself watching tv.
Pro tip: use the blanket and drape it over the edge of the table so you can t see the mirror.
There wasn t truly any issues and that s why this hotel receives 5 stars from me.

Was stuffy so the sliding door to the balcony was open in the evening, the mosquitoes leaked all night long, it wasn't great!

A great hotel! I spent two days here with my boyfriend for a city trip, and we really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, good breakfast and no noise in the corridor. The only drawback was that our room did not really offer much privacy regarding the toilet and shower. But maybe we just had bad luck: /
Rooms nicely furnished with a good restaurant (Brasserie FLO). Wide breakfast choice with friendly staff.
Some disadvantages with regard to hotel room are: the light switches do not all work properly or are sometimes hidden. Toilet paper is in a dispenser, where you can take one sheet at a time. Unfortunately, you have to put a lot of effort into getting the piece of paper torn out.
