Super nice and good hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfast very very good

Handy hotel if you come by train. The design was a bit disappointing.

Heerlijk hotel niet tever van centrum en goede parkeer mogelijkheid in de buurt van het hotel.
Kamer gewoon zoals beschreven is goed en voorzien van Nespresso
Ontbijt is top en is uitgebreid
Wij waren er met moederdag en de dames werden door het hotel passend in style in het zonnetje gezet.
Zeker weten komen wij nogmaals terug.

Nice hotel, has a good feel, a bit noisy when other guests walk around the corridors but ahead! Room 105, you certainly do not miss the windows, but I wonder if that is the same if you have to stay in it for more than a week. My girlfriend and I are having a good time, although we do miss the minibar and a significant downside for us is the missing toilet door. It contributes to the design that I find very beautiful, but we don't like it. Other than that definitely worth the money! Nice and warm. We do get some problems with the airways with the air conditioning, but without air conditioning it becomes very stuffy after a while we think. Despite the quality and the atmosphere that they wanted to create, I certainly think the 4 stars are in place. If I come back again I will definitely go to this hotel again!

Good location. Room is well cared for. Too bad that there is no bathtub, minibar and balcony.

Service was very nice and caring. Check in went nice and easy. They checked in on us by phone to ask if everything was. Rooms are very nice. Breakfast a tad expensive.

Hotel is good to leave. I lived here for 3 Months. It would be better if it rooms contain a small kitchen with basic equipment.

Nice hotel! Good rooms and pleasant staff. Great place for a stay in Maastricht also because of its location at the station and the Wyck district. In 10 minutes you walk across the St Servaes bridge to the Vrijthof.

Great breakfast, a nice gym, and very comfortable beds. Location is also superb. Or only complaint was that the rooms are not very conveniently designed. Some rooms have open bathrooms, meaning you practically have to go to the bathroom next to where your partner is sleeping. Quite awkward...

Unfortunately, we only had a standard room, nothing special, you would expect more from a design hotel. But the cleanliness and the breakfast were very good!

The location of the Design hotel Maastricht is perfect; close to the station on a continuous road to the pleasant center. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was fine and clean. Breakfast was a great start to another wonderful day in Maastricht! We enjoyed Maastricht, partly thanks to the Design hotel. I can definitely recommend the hotel and hope to return there myself!

Fijne luxe kamers met een erg ruime badkamer. Mooi uitzicht vanaf de 2e verdieping. Locatie is ook super: 2 minuten lopen van het station en binnen 10 minuten sta je in hartje centrum. Honden ook welkom!

Very cool hotel that really lives up to its name. The staff was very friendly and you were properly answered. The location is ideal because you are in the bustling center with 8 minutes. The room was equipped with cool LED lighting and a giant round bed. Everything was neat and clean!

The only good thing about our stay here was that it was close to the center but the room itself was really impractical and the bath had no running water at most, and a shower was cold, we will never come back here

Nice concept.

When you arrive you think it is an 'old' hotel, but that's just the outside. Very modern inside and equipped with all kinds of funny elements such as posters.

Room was small but clean with an open shower.

Excellent breakfast and friendly employees.

Only downside that the final costs were higher than expected, had chosen an offer with an air-conditioned room, but afterwards it turned out that it was 30 euros more expensive than expected.

Great hotel and nice brasserie. Very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet was extensive and was supplemented regularly. Room was clean and the bed was fine. The only drawback we found was the glass shower enclosure between room and shower. Hotel is highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Nice spacious room with many paintings, very nice! Hotel is in the center of Maastricht, all sights are within walking distance.

The lovely staff, the location, comfortable , spacy rooms. Everything was perfect

We zijn hier nu 4x geweest. Altijd met de ns spoordeel actie.
Het hotel is goed, ontbijt is goed, maar slaap je aan de achterkant, dan word je vaak gewekt door personeel dat in en uit loopt met veel lawaai.
Bij de 2e keer hebben we dit tijdens het reserveren laten weten, toen kregen we een andere kamer met een kaartje waar hun excuus op stond. Erg netjes.
De 3e en 4e keer wouden we niet klagen aangezien we "Voor een dubbeltje op de 1e rij zitten" met deze actie.
De volgende keer doen we het toch wel weer denk ik, aangezien je hierdoor echt weinig slaap krijgt.
Verder erg goed hotel, fijn als je met de trein komt, je hoeft niet de hele stad door met je bagage.
Daarna is het wel een klein stukje lopen naar het centrum maar wij vonden de straatjes die je onderweg tegenkomt ook al erg leuk.

Me and my husband enjoyed this hotel. We got plenty good tips. Rooms were clean and interior was quite original. Big eye staring at us was bit creepy but aside that great . Nice modern bathroom. We enjoyed lobby in the evening and free breakfast in the morning .

Nice hotel near the station.
Located within walking distance from the center, about 15 minutes. Clean tidy rooms, good beds, choice of pillows. Great shower. Breakfast was well taken care of.

Booked this hotel with friends because of formula 1. I did not go to formula 1 myself but stayed in the hotel to rest. The general manager and her operational staff have really done everything to make it a fantastic stay for us. We have been pampered and pampered. Big compliments

Great hotel. Nice room. Luxury breakfast with many options. Nice staff and very welcoming people at the breakfast bufet. Was a pity that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, this was of course the fault of another guest but was very disturbing for the night rest.

Not clean, no air conditioning in rooms, some rooms without the bathroom door

The comfortable room, and the very convenient location, next to the train station. But there was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. Maybe during less hot times of the year is not a problem, but in summer it was a bit hot.

Spacious room with a really comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located, within 5 minutes of the station on one side and the city centre on the other side.

Thank you design hotel Maastricht and especially Guusje from the reception, you have made our stay unforgettable. When I made the reservation I forgot to state that we wanted an air-conditioned room i.v.m. my mother who can hardly stand the heat. We immediately got another, larger beautiful room with air conditioning. At breakfast I received Prosecco for my mother's birthday and everyone came to congratulate. Interest and hospitality are of paramount importance here. This will definitely be our regular hotel to stay when we go to Maastricht. Location is also super and quiet, in short, highly recommended!

Via last minute deal kamer geboekt. Prijs is prima voor wat je krijgt. Mooie standaard kamer. Klein maar leuk. Echter geen airco. Komt wel vaker voor in NL maar helaas met 40 graden buiten terwijl je thuis wel airco hebt is dit wel een downgrade. Geen andere kamers met airco beschikbaar.
Vriendelijk personeel.
Vreemde is dat er een welkomstkaartje ligt op bed van de vorige reservering 25-07/26-07. Waarschijnlijk geannuleerd of wel naar kamer met airco gegaan.
Beddengoed en vastgoed lijkt en ruikt fris.
Kleine omissie housekeeping.
Wel ventilator op kamer die aanstaat bij binnenkomst. Morgen meer.

Bedienend personeel was erg vriendelijk. Het diner in het restaurant zat bij de prijs inbegrepen en was erg goed. De paprika geitenkaas soep is een aanrader.
Het ontbijtbuffet was goed. De eerste ochtend waren we wat laat (half uur voor sluiting) maar toen was er nog voldoende keus en werd ook nog nieuw gemaakt.
De tweede ochtend waren we vroeger. Toen was het ook wat drukker en stond er een maitre 'd. Echter de dame in kwestie was met van alles bezig. Waarschijnlijk om alles zo tip top mogelijk te krijgen waardoor ze vaak gasten mis liep die binnen kwamen en ze halverwege de vloer moest vragen naar kamernummer en ze dan naar een plek begeleidde. Mijn tip, blijf staan. Ontvang je gasten en wat je voor verbetering ziet delegeer je naar je collega's.

Leuk hotel waar het personeel het verschil maakt en je beter geen kamer zonder airco neemt in 28+graden.

Ik zag een reactie vanuit het hotel dat ik voortaan beter dan een kamer met airco kan reserveren.
Ik mee mij te herinneren dat dit bij de aanbieding waar ik gebruik van maakte geen optie was. Bij check-in heb ik er nog wel naar gevraagd maar waren de kamers met airco vergeven.
Overigens voor de prijs waarvoor wij verbleven mag ik niet klagen.

Zeker een aanrader voor iedereen die eens in Maastricht wenst te overnachten.

Great hotel, 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main square, shops, restaurants etc. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Ria, in the dining room, particularly so, lovely lady who remembers people from their previous visits. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, nice sleep, and we were able to store our bikes plus luggage inside, despite the late arrival.
