Edmonds Community College gets a 3 star, 4 for the teachers and 3 for the facility.
This school offers great programs and has wonderful teachers!!!
I agree with the previous post concerning the financial aid department. It is one of the worst because the department never seems to have enough funds to aid students without them having to pay. Grants should always be available to accommodate student needs. If you are a student that stands in need of financial support, I would recommend attending another school.
I wished I could give 0 star. Some office front desk or customer service are RUDE and RACIST. Can not believe I am paying here a lot of money.
Nice place to brush up on some knowledge and get your education done!
Such a terrible experience trying to just consider registering, that I am now no longer interested.
I called to make an appointment with an academic adviser. I was put on hold for 20 mins without ever speaking to a human or given any other option. After 20 minutes, I hung up and called the main number. She said, "well, I can't do much, but they have direct number I can transfer you to." So, she transferred me. To some random faculty member in some department I had no interest in. That person was very nice and told me she'd walk my request over, and have someone call me back from advising. They did call me back to set up an appointment, which we did. However, I was driving and couldn't write down the details, so she assured me she would email me all the info. Of course, I never received the info. So, I just called to cancel my appointment.
The overwhelming impression I got was one of incompetence, inefficiency, and that the right had didn't know what the left had was doing. Oh, and it's a half hour wait on the phone to even speak to the right hand.
I was a new student, contemplating studying here. But after the way I was dealt with on the phone on my very first interaction, I now have ZERO interest in attending, and will continue my search for a school that has its act together, and knows what they are doing. That would seem to be a better indicator of a quality education.
It's a nice community college and you'll learn a lot from it. Of course every teacher is different, but for the most part, they really care about you and your education.
Nice college, my name is Victor Manuel Alzati Trejo. Thank you! I want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year. 2017
A Really Good place to learn about Construction Management.
My strategy was taking classes from as many different instructors as practically possible, and it paid off well! All EdCC instructors I met are knowledgeable and helpful. The key for new students is to communicate with instructors when they hit, or about to hit a road bump.
I recommend this college for anyone who's looking to improve their social status by advancing their education. You'll have a chance to meet hundreds of instructors who have their own businesses, firms, startups, whatever else they have; the main idea is that these people are not just teachers - they walk the talk and you can learn from it a lot!
Great area, a lot of smart people, very different staff - from nice to awful.
Diverse student on campus. Lots of student events and helpful staff.
Got my Associates of Technical Arts in Computer Information Systems Network Technology degree here. There are good instructors here who care about the students success and learning. It's definitely a good place to start. Nice study area in library, lots of books selection, diversity culture, campus area is well maintained.
Their are better quality places to be. They are using the Corona Virus as a primary excuse for delays in response and actions. Its sad they couldn't adapt like everyone else and in these times, the support is none. Literally. Ohh and housing prices yikess. The interest of students is none. And for internationals...all they see is money
For a community college that has allied health certificate programs. not offering a class for that certificate for fall quarter. only offering to to certain students and notgeneral public is very frustrating. ESPECIALLY since i transfered for that program. Nothing is organized. Have advisors that do just advising not teachers as advisors.
Love this place. Spent two years here and they were great years, learning lots and having a great time!
I have great memories of edcc college,
I always liked it in there, this was long time ago.
But seems like yesterday,it looks like the college got bigger in buildings around it,but feels like the same if I go there.
May be someday would like to pay a visit to it.
This is a good college but there are a terrible Bookstore and too high prices, higher by 200% then Amazon. Do not buy anything in this bookstore if you want to safe money.
I love this college and my experience with the faculty thus far in my educational career.
Ok school, I wish there were more artistic class options.
Very convenient location for school. Just minutes from Everett and Seattle, but far enough away from the hustle to give this place a relaxed and focused atmosphere.
I gave 5stars for education here. Really good class, library, teachers, advisiors, staff, and many cultures friends I can learn from them here.
I gave 3stars for the food at cafetaria in here. Unfortunately, I can't cooking well. However, the menus in here are not many options, the food sometimes taste bad, and really late for waiting the foods. Especially you aren't bring your own food homemade. It's kinda boring food. haha. I only like many options for the drinks. lol.
I'm currently students. All of this to be honest and I want to make review to my school to be more better than before and if it's a good review please keep going. Go triton !
Some friends study in it .. but what they praise !!
The teachers tend not to care about you at the last week of school. But overall the classes are warm and welcomed. "Some" teachers care about you. Most don't. Pick teachers from other students.
A good place to study, good teachers. I often spent time with friends in a cafe, where there is a pool table, fireplace. Good atmosphere. I recommend.
Staff do not care about the students and instructors have questionable and biased learning techniques. Very disorganized and poorly managed. Poor communication across the board. The only time you ll have an answer on the first ring would be if you called the business office . At this place, you are the customer, and they ll do everything they can to delay your onboarding to classes each quarter just to make you pay/lose more money. Please consider cascadia in Bothell,WA or literally anywhere else other than this place. It s a mess and no one is even remotely qualified for their position. Don t waste two years of your life here. It would most likely turn into 3 or 4 in some cases.
I love how close it is to my school (edcc). The people who work there are super helpful & truely care about an early start for your children. Not just like an ordinary daycare!
Despite the fact that the woman working the front desk isn t very nice! Multiple incidents where I ve addressed my concerns & she s acted very superior as if i didn t know what i was talking about.
One star until they stop sending me direct marketing usps junk mail
It is very good college but have not sent me the offer letter. I m very sad
Been a great place to gain education over the years.
I had a great experience going here for the running start program and college. A lot of knowledgable and kind instructors here. I also worked on the Executive Board and everyone I worked with really care about the students. I am very proud of the student team advocating for students.
Really good stuff
Thanks
It's good but there is parking problem and also hard to find its buildings
Steve Hailey and the Forensics class are the best on the west coast, perhaps the whole country.
Decent classes/ teachers but not a great or comforting campus. My car got stolen from the parking lot while I was in class and the security patronized me and acted like I forgot where I had parked. After realizing it was in fact stolen they claimed no responsibility.
4 stars For teaching staff and buildings in general .
Zero stars for parking and especially what is called campus safety and security staff!!!.

Beautiful setting in the fall and interesting architecture. The campus horticulture is amazing
The registeration department employees has an attitude and I do not like them. Bad customer service. They dont know how to make customers happy. They do not have a job without the students so they have to double check their attitude. Some people are nice there.
Customer service sucks and the employees here are rude. Especially the registration desk. They are lucky they did not go down with me on a bad day. I don t recommend.
I have had nothing but Positive Experiences since I have been at Edmonds Community College for the last 4 months now. I am going through the Workfirst Program at the Gateway Bldg. They had me go through the Solid Foundations Course & a College Sucess course. before I started my summer courses of Math, English; Critical Writing, & another 2-credit Write class. All of the Instructors that I have had are amazing, they helped me in every aspect of figuring out what I wanted to take by different surveys & then they help to walk you through getting your all of your Financial Documents in order & get registered for all of my classes over the next 2-years while I am working on my Degree. Very Diverse Community & everyone is so nice & helpful.
Here is a beautiful place to study, the area is really beautiful, the campus is fantastic, next to golf, and the city is nice.
Since English the official working language, please hire people who can communicate in english Fluently. This is not a race/sex or issue. You can still hire these ppl to work at back of the office. Plus, they are not professional. They talk about customers when other customers are waiting in line or even while they are filling out forms. You can learn from the other colleges nearby.
Thank you.
For what it is, it's a great community college. For those who just do not know if college is right for them, going to EdCC could help. The staff seems to care about their students and class sizes are usually small enough so that you can build a good relationship with the instructor. Parking does ABSOLUTELY suck here, however. The food is meh, but still beats high school food. Overall student crowd is pretty good. You'll meet a lot of people here if you try.
