Echostage Review

Saw Zhu here on his Ringo's Desert tour. Really great place with a well thought out design. Pretty spacious venue too and the staff got everyone in and out of the concert quickly and efficiently.

Excellent staff, excellent security, Polite staff. Clean venue. Clean bathrooms, accommodating staff, all together a wonderful time (even aside from the band)

Went to the GOT7 concert and the way they set up the crowd was terrible. I couldn't see part of the stage thanks to the speakers blocking my view. Also security could have done a better job controlling the lines.

So last night I came to see Da Baby with two of my female friends. One of my lovely friends absolutely love Da Baby and sent us a link two months in advance to purchase the tickets. We paid $50.00 per ticket and parking was $40.00. When we arrived the establishment was packed and as everyone knows when your in a standing venue there s going to be a lot of foot traffic. We got a few drinks and was enjoying our night until about a hour in . My friend and I was dancing and a short Caucasian Male literally dug hug finger into her back and forcefully pushed her out of the way. Immediately, I looked at his shirt to see exactly who he was because the way he did it with confidence said he had to be someone with pull. Two young gentlemen that observed the whole situation stated to the security guard that he was wrong for man handling a female the way he did. He literally called security and told them to escort the two men and my female friend. Of course we can in together we leave together. We walked to the front and I m just shaking my head and I told them we fell into his trap. The way his ego was set up he wasn t able to handle the truth and because they stood up to him he wasn t having it. When they spoke to the cops they told us this is their establishment and if they want you off there property then you have to leave. It was honestly sad because no one could look us in the eyes while they were speaking. People dress and go out to have a good time and just because he wasn t able to be a man and apologize for his wrong doing he had to set an example. I try my best to not give bad reviews but I m tired of the professionalism in the DMV Night Life. I barely go out and honestly this is why. It s almost like the security and police officers let their anger out on you when they see you want to just have a good time. The only thing I can recommend is purchase VIP Tickets so you won t have to go through this and don t have a voice if you see someone in an Echostage Shirt. A waste of time and money!

One of the larger DC music venues. Not my favorite spot but they have a lot of good shows and groups come through!

Bring earpro if you're gonna rail ride the whole night... learned that the hard way

I went here 4 years back and was disgusted but I must say they stepped it up. Really cracking down on people ruining the show for others. Also very well ventilated.

No wonder this place is number 1 edm house trance venue in the United States! Wow simply a real! The energy in the place is incredible nicely organized great performances great DJ lineups! A must see! Wow can t wait for the next show. A tip Get a table with friends takes the experience to a whole different level! Tiesto!!!!!

Bathrooms stayed clean. Thanks to the young lady that was in there taking of them .

Some of the staff is INCREDIBLY rude for no reason!!

It s phenomenal they host my favorite DJs, phenomenal bartenders, drinks are on fleek, security keeps you safe in every aspect, Echostage is my go-to-club with regard to every great show and good time.

The security is the worst, hire someone actually good

Had the pleasure of seeing Armin Van Buuren and visiting Echostage for the first time. I'm an older EDM fan (46) and didn't feel out of place at all. The drinks were appropriately priced for the DC area. The club had ample security and everyone on the staff was friendly. The club itself is pretty large in comparison to some of the other indoor venues I've been in in the past. Great sound system and overall a really enjoyable evening. We took a cab to Echostage, so parking wasn't an issue. Restored my faith that one can be an older EDM fan and not feel terribly out of place among a gaggle of youngsters.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The concert was supposed to start at 9:00 pm. It is now 12:30 am and the performers are not even on stage yet. Just people pushing me around spilling beer on me. I will NEVER come here again.

Backyard TCB RE what band really had echostage lit I had a blast

Amazing venue. Everything about it is tailored towards an exciting experience. The upstairs balcony has couches and tables that you can sit at while enjoying bottles (yes, you have to buy bottles to sit there) of drinks.

The line was super long and slow for the KYS fest. My friends and I waited almost 2 hours to get in and once we did, there wasn t even that many people inside. Not sure what the hold up was but we were not excited about it. The actual space is spacious and nice for the mid sized concert it was.

Been on an EDM kick for the past 1.5-2 years... I dabbled with some trance in high school, and I've always had tracks scattered throughout my workout playlists, but I'm pretty much a newbie to the stuff. That means no raves (or any of the associated naughtier aspects to "enjoying the music") for yours truly all throughout the fun years; Saturday, 3/26/16, marked the first EDM rave I'd ever been to. The road to the Echostage was all a relatively impromptu affair.



So, perhaps I'm not the most qualified person to speak as music venues where one could enjoy shows such as these, but I had a blast here. We arrived relatively early at 10 (doors opened at 9, with bro and friend wanting to get there early so we could have a good spot for the opening act). Place was barely half full when we got in, so we were able to snake our way just a few paces from front and center. Good call on that, as the place was pretty much as packed as a sardine can just a half hour later.

However, I was able to observe the place prior to "packed-to-the-gills" status, and I was definitely a fan of the set up. Big room, with bars to the left and the right, with VIP balconies (I would assume) on top of those. Pretty sexy if you ask me. And a tall boy Heineken running about $7 ain't a bad deal (maybe those NYC prices just made me callous to drink pricing). Huge speaker towers to the left and right of the stage (and speakers scattered everywhere else I'm sure) made for some booming (but not deafening) noise; definitely some world class sound quality on those.



I had a great time here, def makes me excited for my next show (here or elsewhere).

This venue is huge! The light show is out of this world! 2 large bars & my favorite, COAT CHECK!

Nice place to see artists live. Drinks are seriously over priced! Arrive early parking is first come first serve.

Awesome venue, just getting to and from it is a giant pain in the ass. Expect multipliers if you're taking an uber there.

Amazing lighting, acoustics. An all around amazing venue.

Sunday Worship at National Community Church. I enjoyed the worship music and the Pastor's message "Yes & Amen" was encouraging. When "So far so God (good) meets "The best is yet to come" Great message. All of God's promises are Yes & Amen!

I love that they always have good shows here and a welcoming crowd. I do wish the people who went to shows and stuff wouldn't throw their trash on the ground. But that's just people. Can't wait to go back!

Was a great experience, went to the Alan Walker show, sound and lights and effects are great

The sound quality is terrible for what this place is advertised as and for how expensive it is. Not a good music venue.

It's honestly always a great time.
Most of the times there's drink specials before shows.
The venue is a good size
The production (depending on the artist too) is usually amazing!
And the speakers will take you to another land.

Echostage:
The place where you can finally fully experience your favorite DJs... Locally.

First time it was my man's birthday I really enjoyed my self

Wide space, 2 floors easy to maneuver around. 2 bars downstairs and one upstairs for VIP

Always over crowded, security blows, the floors always sticky and the people that go to echostage are rude as can be

Everything with the venue is perfect. Sound is awesome. Lights are awesome. What I hate is the 18+ age thing. 21+ would be infinitely better since the 18-19 year old brofaggots who constantly have to move during the show gets so god damn annoying. Also $5 for a bottled water is kinda ridiculous, but you can get free water in a cup. Staff is really awesome though.

Great venue, but often too crowded and too loud. The dancefloor feels like a pushing mob at times.

I just got back from the twenty one pilots concert last night and it was horrible, like hell, NO security at all, they did not let me come in with my backpack water Bladder (It was empty, NO water or any liquid) they said to me that after the concert was over, someone will give it to me but to my surprize it was lying at the floor and broken, very disappointed with the organization of the event, people was unrespectful, there are no parking lots near and if you find one you have to pay over 30 dollars, the area did not feel safe at all, walking on the streets is scary....they only good thing was that they gave free water inside and outside the venue.

Has a blast. Good venue. Great bartenders. Many of the crowd not very PLUR but made it work. I would go back but you have to hold your own in the crowd. Just be ready to be super close to others when trying to dance.

Echostage is not a bad place by any means, but it is an extremely poorly placed concert venue. There is almost no parking, and where there is, it is the shadiest looking parking of all time. When we arrived the line was three blocks long and the doors had already been opened. However, once you get into the venue, you will have a good time. The staff was very friendly and genuinely wanted you to be safe. I would absolutely adore Echostage if it was placed in a different location.

Epic venue. One star off for pointing lasers in patrons' eyes as standard practice, but somehow that's legal. Amazing what regulations money can buy. Also amazing what a stage money can buy! An experience, for sure. Wear sunglasses...Inside. The lasers are real

Echo stage it's self was nice but the is no parking and I had to pay $40 to park in the parking lot next door... go as a group and split the cost

Just experienced my first show last night at Echostage. I've been to a lot of venues and been to a lot of shows, but WOW Echostage blows it out of the park. Very nice and easy layout, super clean bathrooms (nicest ive ever seen at a venue), friendly staff, fantastic sound and production. Echostage is #1 in the US for a reason.

Multi leveled, easy to navigate layout and most importantly, free water at the bar. Not to mention the place pulls some of the biggest names through Glow. Parking is pricey and can be a hassle due to being beside another popular venue.

Huge indoor concert space, amazing music!! Very crowed at times, but overall good place to listen to top Dj's with friends!!!

The location is not very easy to get to via public transportation and paying for parking will run you $20-30.
That being said, the venue is much nicer than other similar music venues and the sound system is great. The cost of drinks is about average of other venues in DC.

Only thing is they don't allow gloves for light shows and that's a bummer

Love Echostage. I always have a blast when I go there. The water is free and there's always an open urinal. My only qualm might be the lack of AC. They have it but it's not quite strong enough. Still an amazing venue. Go there soon!

Large open-floor venue with fast-service bars lining the walls. Amazing sound system to go along with the great atmosphere!
