Incredible venue... a friend and I came here to see Diplo in early 2019 and were very impressed with the venue, staff and acoustics. The staff was so professional and the crowd management was smooth and efficient throughout.

This review should have been one star because of thier customer service. The girls in the front are very rude and disrespectful when speaking to customers. I only gave them three stars because of the ladies at the bar. We were upstairs and the girl that was at the bar was very nice, and patient with customers. She smiled and was very welcoming.

Incredible production and space, but very overpriced especially considering the sound. I'll keep it short and just say in regards to the sound..it's called Echostage for a reason. Would love to see more variety of music come through this venue rather than just steez and glow parties. With that being said, it's always fun for sure.

Easily my favorite club. VIP isn't in the way of the dance floor, tickets are reasonable, the dance floor is huge, and the drinks aren't too pricey (for a club). Lighting and sound systems are great.

Absolutely trash. Do not come here. The crowd this place brings is garbage, and not the type of place you would ever want to see a rave. Speakers are okay, not the best balance, but definitely nice and loud. For real through pretty much any other rave venue is better than this. EDC, Kandi trades, face masks, that's this places vibe. Not a place for wooks

Large space , not crowded .There was lots of room, which mean there was room to breath. The securities are too much I understand they are trying to protect people but they need to stay way more to let us enjoy the concert . They kind of kill my and others vibes.

DJs are great. Sound system and light shows are really cool! However... This place is always very crowded, especially for any big names. Parking was $40 (we may have accidentally parked in the most expensive lot). You can no longer hail an Uber or Lyft in front in the venue. You have to walk down to the end of the street to meet your ride.

WARNING OVERDOSE CENTRAL - DON'T let your kids or young adults go here! PLEASE! HORRIBLE , they promote drug use (MOLLY, ECSTASY) and have staff on hand to handle the overdoses, seizures and heart attacks these kids have. They tell them, don't use too much next time. They have a set up with the hospital across the street to take the kids to that provides horrible service. My gut tells me they they do this to keep bad publicity out. No one dies on their floor, but a lot of close calls. It's HOT in there, people get dehydrated, everyone is doped up or drunk. And to keep the bad publicity under wraps, they have their own security, paramedics and staff to help hide all this, and to top it off, a deal with the Providence Hospital who doesn't ask too many questions and doesn't provide IV's, CAT SCANS, nothing, releases a seizure victim too early to only have another seizure driving down the road. I am speaking from experience. Stay away from this place. Keep your family out of here.

Best large scale dance club in DC. Don't come here for boujois and stiff people standing by velvet-roped tables; come for the soundsystem, the improving interior (still being renovated, hear it will be completed in 2013) and the fact that you'll get real wild, rather sweaty and have a heck of a time here. For the atmosphere alone and the desire to not over-charge every patron this place earns high marks for quality.

Parking is available in a few garages across the street, ~30$ to park so I'd suggest carpooling. For the large events they'll shuttle a bus from the nearest metro. Cabs can be flagged down at the gas station/checkers down the road from the venue. Multiple motels within a 1 mile radius. Too long of a walk to take public transport alone if that is how you're coming to party.

A welcome addition to the scene. 4$ water, 8$ beers in large cans. No earplugs sold, so bring your own.

Venue has a great layout with a big main floor for General Admission with two long bars serving drinks on both sides and a balcony up top with tables. Bathrooms were both large and clean! Although the space is quite large, they appear to oversell the space. The show we went too was sold out and we were literally packed in so tight I was bumping into people on both sides every time I moved. Think twice if you have crowd-anxiety issues!

It s in a bad part of town but honestly you forget that the moment you walk in. Great atmosphere, great production, and always bringing the best DJ/producers in the game. Beware of sold out shows

The crowd and vibe for the night I went was very good. Unfortunately the security staff is very unprofessional. They're quick to deny you entrance so make sure you're on your A game while showing up. They will kick you off the line for litrerly anything.

Great Music Venue!! Security can be a bit overwhelming in the bathrooms but it comes with territory I guess. They could handle themselves more professionally. The sound quality is good and they have bars on both floors and both sides of the venue.

Went for the first time over LDW and it was great. Echostage it self is a great club with helpful security who were passing out waters to all of the ravers. It nice and air conditioned so even when it gets hot there is always a nice breeze. The area around echostage is a bit sketchy but make sure you have someone by your side. Will definitely go back to another show

I am a regular @ Echostage. I have been to the venue at least eight times in 2014. The venue has a world class lighting and sound system. It has a large open dance floor space. It has an abundance of bathrooms. The mezzanine space where tables are reserved is very impressive. If you drive to the club pay to park. If you park in the area around Echostage without paying there is a strong chance your car will be broken into. Overall I have had great times in the venue.

I went here for the first time to see Da Baby and it was quite an experience. glad I can say I've been here before but I won't be back. Although its a large space, the overcrowding of people during a concert was too much for me. Couldn't even enjoy the show with all of the pushing, shoving, and fighting going on. Its safe to say i have outgrown that kind of a crowd.

What an experience. Iv been to other venues through out the country and nothing has ever lived up to the Echo Stage. The sound and lighting are absolutely the best I have ever heard and seen ANYWHERE. Drinks are a tad expensive ($15 for a vodka redbull) but it's still worth it to me.

This club decided to sell as many tickets as they possibly could to the show I attended. This meant there wasn't a single open space on the floor level and there wasn't any walking space because everyone was crammed in like sardines. If you're a shorter person I don't recommend it because the floor isn't on an incline so you won't be able to see anything anywhere unless the show is smaller and you can manage to find an open space. They could have easily lowered the amount of tickets to sell by just a bit just to give us a bit of breathing room. Very money hungry and does not care about those who can't afford the "VIP" section upstairs. Worst venue I've ever attended and will never go again.

I was having a great time at the PVD set. I got early to be at the very front. One drunk guy decided to push me aside. The person next to me was also uncomfortable by that. We both decided to get him out of our space.
The result: I got yanked off from the concert like a criminal.
I kept asking the security guy, in a very polite way to stop pushing me, or inflicting harm on me, because it was clear to me that I was being kicked out. I was not fighting or intoxicated. He simply kept inflicting harm on my arms like I was not cooperating (but I was, and I continued requesting in a polite way to let me go).

If a person is cooperating when being kicked off the club, please do not use or incite violence.

One of the most humiliating nights of my life.

Love it here! Def does get crammed and for some shows there's a contingent of sweaty bros who keep their shirts off but for the most part it's great. Had to break up some dude basically trying to latch his face onto an unwilling girl one time and have seen dangerously intoxicated ppl every time I've been here, normal club stuff. People here def party with every substance known to man and you may have some weird convos. It's a great environment though and you will have a blast if you like to dance!

me and my husband went to Echostage to see Above & Beyond this past weekend. As much as we love Above & Beyond, the crowd and the atmosphere here at Echostage was just a bit much. I do have to say there was a ton of security around but the amount of disfunction we saw was just crazy. Several people being pulled into the First Aid room that where beyond obliterated I do understand this isn't the venue's fault but ti didn't seem as though they do anything to screen people coming into the show. Expect a full on rave when you go here. It will be packed with people as many as they can fit. Don't expect the headliners to go on before 12am. A&B took the stage at 1am.

This is one of my favorite venues to attend a show at. The bathrooms are generally pretty clean the entire night. Parking is waaay too expensive don't pay for parking. There is a street down the road right next to a police station with free parking and it's only a short walk away. My only complaint about Echostage is the security they're pretty overbearing in the crowd. You can be 100% sober, dancing your heart out, and it's obvious they are keeping an eye on you thinking you're up to no good. Pretty annoying.
