Paid to get in, got refused regardless. Only accepted conditionality and no way to get money back.

New show venue is always a win. The layout is similar to 9:30 club-that said the upstairs has couches which is a nice feature.
Great venue for being indoors. Good access to bars. Lots of good vantage points for viewing the show.
Many many nights have been spent at echostage. There's a reason it's one of the best venues in the united states. They always manage to bring in top artist talent and over the years they put money back into the venue upgrading lasers, smoke machine, and sound system. Drinks are fairly priced. Expect to wait 30+ mins just to get inside if a big artist is in town. Protect your ears and bring some ear plugs!
Great venue, great acts, good set up with solid sound and lighting
God forbid you have someone that is alittle drunk. Even if you trip on accident they ll send you to the drunk tank. Then they promised after getting someone to an Uber that I d get back in but when I went to get back in they said the people who were in red collard shirts (said military personnel which was also the medical personal) didn t work for them. So they wouldn t let me back in. So I ended up sitting in my car waiting for my friend that they promised I d be back in the show with get done with the show.
This place is a joke and God forbid you point out a flaw in their security because then they ll howlhow you re didn t under stand them and he you accountable for their job. I m in the military and the guy promised that he helped military and that was a HUGE lie from the bat! That s one of their biggest concerns from the gitgo! Definitely not a military friendly place!
I find it extremely ignorant and poor for the way this club handled a meet and greet with a famous DJ. Tickets were $107 per person and guests were told they were unable to use their cell phones to have the pictures taken. That is fine, however the pictures were taken by the club's photographer and no explanation was given on how and when the pictures would be given to the guests. The event was at 9 last night, it is now 7:00pm the next day and everyone has yet to receive the pictures. I also sent a message both on Facebook and Instagram this morning asking about this but have not heard anything back. Very poor and disappointing and I will not be returning due to the way this was handled although the DJ was amazing.
Been here a couple times already. Its got great sound, visuals, atmosphere and best of all awesome lineups. The bathroom attendants and pricey bar are negatives.
Enchanted as always, people are great but when there is a great DJ it is crazy but hey that's what I love,
Pros: They do provide an old school bus (no A/C) to bring people to and from the Metro, although the driver tried to drive away before he said he would and leave us behind.
The bartenders were friendly and prompt.
Cons: Unless you are in the front row you can see NOTHING.
It was way too hot, there are no water fountains, and you're not allowed to bring your own water. (Obviously all of this to encourage buying overpriced drinks and water bottles)
We waited for OVER TWO HOURS to see the title artist. That's two hours of mostly empty stage time, in the heat, and the pushy crowd.
The bass was so loud that it drowned out the music, and usually I like heavy bass. This was ridiculous, unpleasant, and made it hard to even hear what song was playing.
It's sort of a bummer this is one of the only spots in dc where edm artists come to play. They really do oversell because once the concert kicks off, there's literally no space to move or dance. It's body to body. Would be nice to have a cap so people could actually dance and move around.
I loved it, even tho I was charged $120 just to get in
Somehow rated the number one club in America for electronic music! Great venue for pounding bass
An amazing concert venue for EDM shows! The staff was about average for this type of place. Security was great coming in somewhat lax once the show got going. Had a great time and the tickets were very reasonable. I'm definitely glad I had earplugs, up front was LOUD. (That for me was NOT a negative, just plan accordingly.)
Great venue. Though always a little too crowded due to overselling when it's a popular artist. And when I say a little I mean, good luck not breathing in someone else air.
Great venue. The only issue I have is there is no re-entry thought the front door.
Amazing place with great venue and if it's your first time going to concert/festival you won't be disappointed
Fun venue with lots of bathroom stalls! (That's important, given the sheer number of people being inside a single building at one time.)
Solid venue with a good design. Not a bad spot in the whole place.
DC has a great music scene and this is one of the best venues I've ever been to. It's setup to navigate easily and never feels too overcrowded with bars well-staffed.
Love this place, great sound system, friendly staff and a safe place to listen to dance music. Echostage also gets major credit from me for the depth of the lineups they regularly bring to the venue. We are lucky to have a venue like echostage in the DC area that provides access to a wide variety of EDM artists from around the world.
Sticky floors, expensive drinks, and poor views for non-VIPs. Everything you'll hate to expect from a warehouse venue.
This place has been upgraded majorly... Wonderful place but the drinks are definitely watered down tho !!!!
The security is an issue here. We had a water bottle filled with water that we were told couldn't come in. We took it out then when we tried to go back in the manager just said we couldn't enter. When we asked why he just wouldn't talk to us. Trying to end a birthday on a high note annnd they completely ruined it, thanks never coming back..
Pretty good venue, though kinda hard to access. Parking is ludicrously hard (though I don't blame the neighborhood for making it so).
Went to go see Slander and it was my favorite EDM experience ever! Made a lot of new friends, introduced an old friend to the scene, and made memories. A couple even got engaged there during the show! I definitely wont forget it.
Amazing venue, been here three times and it never fails to amaze me how smoothly everything runs at Echostage. The sound system for live DJ sets are phenomenal
Amazing concert venue. Be prepared for your shoes to be ruined.
Great venue with great artists. Parking is pretty expensive, so an uber wouldn't be a bad idea.
This club is great. The venue was good, had an upper level, outside area to smoke or get some air, and the staff was beyond great. I say this because I suddenly felt very faint and ended up falling. The staff assisted me to a first aid room. I have never seen one of these at a club. The first aid staff were very nice and gentle and offered me multiple cups of free orange juice and water. They also had cold wet towels. They offered small clean trash cans with clean bags for those who were throwing up. When you left the room the staff offered you a bottle of water with a plastic bag in case you have to barf on the way out. This first aid room also has a separate private exit so you can exit in a more quiet calm atmosphere. In other words, if you want to go to a club and get f***ed up, this club will provide a great venue with staff that will take care of you, hahaha.
This venue is so smartly designed. The bars run the length of the venue with bathrooms that are just as long. Due to the unique design you can get anywhere in minutes with ease. Great light and sound setup.
I went here with a group of friends to see Alan Walker and KSHMR and we were not disappointed. The venue is a ton of fun and tickets for big name DJs are surprisingly inexpensive. The lighting and sound systems are pretty incredible and make Echostage one of the best venues in DC from my experience. The only knock on this place is that there is no Metro train that runs there and ubers across town (especially after the concert) can run you $30+. But regardless, I will definitely return in the future.
Good drinks, a little expensive. The crowd sometimes can be very rude.
sound is always painfully loud here even with earplugs and they always over book the venue so it's very hard to find space where you can still see and get good sound. if you like paying $40 to park your car safely then that's cool I guess, but there is free street parking and cheaper lot parking scattered around. some staff can be very nice and friendly, but some can also sometimes definitely not. they do have free water which is a big plus though
It was AMAZING! No matter where you were you could still see whoever was on stage.
Probably the best DJ, music, dance, EDM, club in the USA and one of the best in the world. All the top DJ's come here or have in the past. The lights are excellent. The bouncers are not rude as they are at so many other places. Of course the drinks are way over priced but that's why you pregame. Make sure to Uber to get a room in one of the nearby hotels!
Rare Essence have nice Events there Denise Johnson from Washington DC
One of the best dance clubs I have ever been too. Large dance floor. Clean restrooms and a very long bar counter! They host all the top artist in the EDM scene.
Confused why it has such good ratings. Security and ticket checkers are rude. Drink prices are hilarious. Club goers are some of the rudest I've come across. Total dudefest too. Been here twice its like 70-80% guys. Not to mention half of them are drenched in sweat and shirtless.
The parking is too expensive ($35 for me), the outside staff are sketch and rude, and the area is super sketchy. If you're in DC there are too many better places to go.
The shows here are always great but everything from the drinks to the tickets are pretty expensive. Getting there from the Metro is a pain since it's over 2 miles to the nearest stop although they do have a shuttle. I suggest bringing cash since they hold your credit card and ID if you'd like to start a tab at the bar. Also don't make the mistake of leaving the club without closing your tab because you'll be stuck trying to talk your way back in to no avail.
Drinks were way over priced and their idea of "valet" parking is charging you 40 bucks to park your own car on a public street near the club and keep your own keys or park in the garage for 60$.. We parked across the street for free.
Echostage really took care of me. If you ever go here make sure not to get exploited by street parkers.
And that's just the service. The venue is fantastic.
Amazing bar staff, expensive drink but worth. Great place to jam.
Had a great time. Went to see Carl Cox, he was awesome. Echostage is a great place. The staff there does a great job taking care of the guest. Definitely a large area. I've been there twice now and had a great time both times. They were passing out free Waters at the front to make sure everybody was staying hydrated. The restrooms were easily accessible and considering very well maintained. The staff up front was very professional. And the wait was not too long to get in. Great place to hang out and have a good time with friends.
A decently sized venue with an outdoor patio for smoking
Seen many dj's perform here - and some big names at that
There are two floors and multiple bars, a cool set up in the front to take photos, plenty of restrooms (important), and security is pretty top notch which is good is things get crazy
I would recommend this as one of DC's top venues
Echostage is a great place to visit because their staff is always so helpful and will go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. Their EDM shows are amazing and the staff always go out of their way to ensure that nobody feels uncomfortable. The lighting setups are top-notch and cannot be beat! Their security is super chill and has always been nice. Their production staff is out of this world! Overall Echostage is a great place to spend a Friday night with 3500 friends.
Great venue, second best in the city behind 930 club
At Echostage, I went there yesterday to see Kid Cudis concert and for his "Passion Pain & Demon Slayin' Tour." My night was quite amazing, it was lit. Thank you Kid Cudi.
Yours truly, Lit Leo.
I've only been a couple of times. First time our show was cancelled. Honored our tickets for the reschedule, but could have communicated with us better in between the two dates.
Saw RTJ at echostage. It is a nice venue and there is a checkers right down the street for your after-club hunger. I liked the balcony section.
