Eastern Mangroves by Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas Review

The place is so luxurious and the price it amazing. besides the view is so so beautiful. The service is amazing and all the workers were so nice and friendly.

Very impressed with hotel grounds as we drove up to the entrance. You have to park the car yourself which was unexpected as my booking stated free valet parking but it wasn't a big deal, car park is right ny the entrance and there were enough parking spaces. Check-in was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly- a special thank you to Alexa and Mary who made my family and I feel very welcome immediately. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, one of those was facing the Mangrove which was gorgeous, especially at sunset. I didn't get a chance to, but you can rent a kayak and explore the Mangrove. There is a Waitrose less than 200 metres away which is handy when you fancy some snacks but you don't want to pay for room service. Ram, from housekeeping did a great job cleaning our room and left a lovely note on the bed wishing us a terrific day. The breakfast was delicious, lots of options and everything was fresh. The service at breakfast was a little slow considering it was quiet but they were always happy to help. Infinity pool looks out on Mangrove, you can order drinks and lounge around as there was plenty of seating. There is also a well-equipped gym. All in all, a very clean and pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

The staff are nice but not very accommodating, I think it's policy. A few small things about why I won't be returning:
1. Our booking was a wedding gift , usually 5 and even 4 star hotels provide something when being informed of this and they confirmed they would to surprise my wife, got nothing.
2. Food we bought in a restaurant on the property we werent allowed to take back to our rooms because they don't provide that 'service'.
3. Calling me daily to upgrade the room in an, or what seemed to be, empty hotel.
4. Small property lacked any sort of authenticity

Nice views of the city but that's about it, hotel is boring. My expectations for the Anantara brand have been let down. Hopefully not only good reviews motivate them to do better.

The most beautiful resorts in the UAE and the third experience of me is amazingly beautiful everything is very beautiful and suitable for families and to relax and enjoy the time flawed in the last visit to mismanagement in the breakfast buffet because of the employee is a little taste and respect for guests

Nice getaway for a weekend. Peaceful area with lots of atractions and many different restaurants. You can rent here a kayak and swim around the place. Boat trips available as well. Interesting happy hour offers and brunch available on Fridays. Highy recommended for people who just want to chill and appreciate outdoor activities. Nice views and natural looking area. You will not get bored here. Recommended.

The ambience is beautiful and comfortable, the meeting room is ok.

Beautiful hotel just 20 minutes away from Abu dhabi city and Abu dhabi airport,lovely staff and the ambience is amazing.

We came to enjoy the Kayaking. It was a hard day going around the mangroves, but well worth it. Could not get a chance to visit the hotel. We will return again for the same excursion.

The reception and the check were quick, the staff were helpful, and there was Arabic coffee and dates

It would have been better if they were sitting, not the costumer, for me to be tired and served a drink for the reception

The room size is large and excellent, and the furniture is fine. They talk about the radio (the speaker) is very old. You cannot connect your phone to it.

The wedding anniversary arrangement was beautiful, a medium tiramisu cake was prepared and the room decorated with flowers with a red bouquet for about 200

Fabulous setup with an even more fantastic pricing . Loved the room and the various restaurants that provided fantastic options right from the breakfast buffet till dinner. The massage options were really soothing too. Just can't go wrong at the Anantara

Excellent from start to finish. All the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Food is top notch. Located a little far out but only a short taxi journey away from most popular sites.

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Nice views and polite staff.

Quite a small property with very limited outdoor options. From the views on the website it seems they have a lot of activities whereas in reality there's simply an outdoor pool and not much. The kayaking etc are all to be arranged separately from the vendors available outside the hotel. Food was very disappointing for us primarily because there are almost no vegetarian options and ones that were available were really disappointing. The chef tried his best to accommodate and prepared some dishes but the result was quite bland and not worth the money that you pay in such a property. However since we took the all inclusive package we didn't have much choice. Wish they had more vegetarian / Indian food options available given the huge amount of Indian tourists visiting the property and given the chef himself was Indian.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever been, the hotel, staff, and local food is just fantastic. Book a kayak and go round the mangroves.

Comparing to hotel name Unfortunately food not as what I expected.. food have no taste and cold.. refilling food too slow.. no that much chooses for food.. only grills recommend to try and Arabic coffee

Beautiful location, right next to the Mangrove plantation. The hotel its self is beautiful with great views of the city and the nature reserve. Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. I had a great stay here and would happily stay again.

The hotel is very good and I recommend it to all categories of travelers and its prices are very suitable and location is located in the beginning of Abu Dhabi the capital and has a crossroads for all roads throughout the capital and away from Yas Island entertainment for about 20 minutes Comfortable, the swimming pool is considered the most wonderful among all the swimming pools where the swimming pool being large and only 125 cm deep and there is excellent care and service at the pool is also excellent.

The hotel is nice and beautiful, but the rooms are not sound proof at all. I could hear the music through the roof from one side, and the children playing and screaming next door from the other side.

One of the best spas in Abudhabi.the hammam part is my favourite. The best thai restaurant in AbuDhabi resides in the resort as well.

It was great but the service really is poor. Trying to find someone to order a drink/food is a real task. Serious lack of staff it would seem. Honestly, the hotel could make so much more from suckers like me if I didn t have to get up and walk to the next floor or go to reception to try to get some service. We ordered food, it never came. We were the only two people in the bar. This lack of service shouldn t happen in a five star hotel, especially when there s so few guests
