Right off the pier, great views, good food & drinks

I don't know who Duke was, but he was on to something. Everything I ate tonight was great. The coconut shrimp had a chilli lime sauce that gave it just the right kick. I had the fish and shrimp in the banana leaf and it melted in my mouth. The Jasmin rice was a nice side to the dish. My husband got the seven spice ahi, I was worried about the spice level, but my sensible tongue thought this dish hit a high note. The meal was finished off with a Free ice cream cake like dessert for my birthday.

Duke's was better than good but not great. However, we got good value for our money. We had appetizers, drinks and food, and our bill was probably 15-20 percent cheaper than what I spent at comparable places. We got great service, as well.

I have been here twice. Well the food is decent but really the best part is the view. We had a very long wait even though they were not busy at all! The server offered to box my food but threw it away (no I'm not kidding) she had to make three trips just to get my wife's water with Lemon and a straw all three came in separate trips. The bar is good if you want to sit there but other than that not worth the money or time

Such a good time, only gave 4 stars due to how service was when the place was just moderately busy. A little slow but all in all good food and a fun time.

Taco Tuesdays are great with terrific tacos and great selection of beers

We just shared my sister's birthday here. Had a great waiter I believe his name was Alex. Beautiful sunset, great food. I don't eat much and was allowed to eat off the children's menu with out any hassle and it was good. Not the typical fried food for kids. Everyone else ate normally and we all loved the food. Be sure and end the night with the Hula Pie. Soooo good

Amazing. Sat on the corner, beach view table with a fun view. Bill was amazing but wished we could of had those mimosas on a Saturday morning with breakfast for the kids.

The best people , the best views , and vlodrt ti thr beach abd Volleyball courts, shopping , hotels , other restaurants , and condos . A plus .

Amazing. Every other year I go here and their coconut french toast blows me away every time....still thinking about it.

Excellent food, very helpful staff. Loved the virgin drinks! The fish was superb, and the chocolate peanut butter dessert was rich and delicious.

When ever i go to the Huntington Beach this is the place place where i eat some good food, there food is really fresh and the food is really good cooked and taste amazing, when ever i go there i eat fish and it's always fresh and really nicely cooked, we had celebrated my one of best friends Birthday here. This place is amazing, The staff is really friendly and they work really hard to provide good service.

Calamari is the best I've had in a long time! Great spot on the beach. Parking can be tough with all the surfers though.

It was good. Nice lunch, it was my birthday, so I celebrated with a giant piece of their Hula Pie-free on your birthday!

Love going to Duke's here or in Hawaii. Always happy with food and service. My mom's first time to a Duke's and she was impressed.

Very yummy but a bit pricey, loved the seared ahi but could've been a bit more generous with the portions for the money we spent.

Really good food and great views. The only knock on the place is that it's a little pricey and the portions aren't big.

I like to go to different restaurants, they recommended it to me, It's not what I expected.

Strong waves thats good for surfing. theres lots of foodplace and activities to try or just lie down relaxing is pretty good too.

A bit pricey. Excellent food and service. Watching beach volleyball is a plus!

Really enjoy the Barefoot Bar for those who want a quick bite and a drink, no shoes required! Definitely recommend their Fish Taco Tuesday's!

We always enjoy happy hour food & drinks and their Sunday Brunch is very good.

Amazing restaurant on the Huntington pier. The menu is mainly made up of seafood. I tasted a starter, it was good. Selection of draft beers is tasty. Three rooms, one of them has a nice view on Huntington beach and on the pier. Quick and handy service.

Wait was not that long. Service was great and food had lots of flavor. Desert was tasty and we shared it between 4 of us. Men's restroom was clean.

This is a beautiful restaurant that overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Most of the tables afford diner's some view if you aren't able to get a window table.

The food was delicious and portion size is good although they vary. The pull pork sandwich was on the small side compared to the burger my friend got and the fish tacos were massive compared to either of our meals.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and our drinks were never empty.

There is valet parking which I personally recommend however there is also a paid lot that depending on the time of day might have spaces available

Depending on the time of day/year reservations are a good idea.

Overall this is wonderful restaurant to dine at and it's a Huntington Beach staple, I'd definitely recommend checking it out even if you're a local.

This was my first visit to Huntington Beach. Nice place on the beach. Valet parking. We had the option of brunch or off the menu. We opted to order off the menu. Good selection of food. The kids ate every bite, so it had to be tasty for them. I split a bbq burger with the wife. Was very juicy and tasty.

Our server was very personable. She asked all my kids their names and made the trip worth the stop.

Great location, right on the boardwalk next to the pier . great bar, nice craft beer selection mediocre Cesar Salad. Very limited menu selections one Burger to choose from a Caesar salad and a green salad. Every selection area was limited on the menu period friendly service

We had reservations were seated by a window looking out at the beach. Our waiter was efficient, handsome (a plus) recommended the halibut & maji maji. They were both delicious, we will be recommending Duke's to our friends and we will b returning soon. Thank you.

can't think of any other place with a barefoot bar. watch for high tide!

I have been going to Duke's for years. We ride our bikes and visit the Barefoot Bar for Mai Tai's and appetizers. The Mai Tai's are the BEST!!! Every appetizer that I have had has been delicious! The staff is always very friendly! It's a fun place to stop for a meal or snack and don't forget to try the Mai Tai's!

Always enjoy eating at Duke's bar when it's sunny outside. The Molokai Mule was delicious as was the Kalua Pork and Cabbage! Highly recommend for the ambience, drinks, and food.

The front desk service sucked ! We were a party of 5 with 87 year-old And a handicap person. Nobody was willing to help just looked at us like if we were bothering them. We ended up getting a table at the bar and servers there were more Helpful.

3 1/2 stars. Food was alright. Not exceptional, but decent. I would come back to try the brunch. The desserts are where it's at (and the view). They are huge. Definitely shareable for a table.

What can I say, this place is a must try!!! The lobster rolls were delis!! The fish & chips delis!! They have this amazing light batter that tastes like heaven in your mouth!! The fish is hearty not a tiny filet, really worth the drive! I will be back!!

Not bad. Limited menu, but great view, service, loved my seafood...

I just had drinks here but the bartender was nice and if you get a table the view is great.

I was invited for my alumni group to enjoy a brunch buffet with a mimosa. We were entertained by a Hawaiian performance, while enjoying the views of the ocean and pier.

This place is unquestionably one of the coolest restaurants in the area. Whenever I come there I am absolutely glad. They always keep their very high level service and the topmost level of food they offer. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Perfectly prepared fish. 3 out of 3 dishes were a delight. The staff is beyond compare: we were treated excellently. Pricey enough to be a once-a- year treat for us though.

Fish tacos were great. So was fish chowder and service.

We have been going to Duke's for the past five years to celebrate my husband's birthday,we are from San Diego. This past June 5th we again came to the restaurant to celebrate with our son, daughter-in-law, and 14 month old granddaughter. After being seated our waitress arrived about 5 minutes later. We ordered drinks and then did not see her for at least 15 more minutes. We ordered appetizers. Another 15 minutes passed and we ordered dinner. Over an hour later we finally got our dinners and my husbands dinner was not what he ordered. 20 minutes later he got his dinner. Overall we sat down for a 6:00 reservation and left the restaurant at 9:15. With a 14 month old this was very trying and not the joyous celebration we had expected. The waitress was very unsatisfactory, needless to say, and I did not even eat my food as I was so uptight from the whole experience. We will not be back next year!

An excellent sunset dining view with great seafood and service. I made a same-day reservation with a request for a table near the windows and they accommodated me. Really nice staff.

Food is good. Service can be excellent. Their specials are usually tasty.
