I kind feel like dukes needs to step up their game. Yes it is on the beach which is its only saving grace. The food is just ordinary. My fries were cold. When I told them they did bring me very hot ones and enough to share with the whole table but for the price I would expect it in the first place

It doesn't matter if you are dressed up or in a simple outfit. This place is a perfect mix of casual and class. combining in the perfect beach restaurant experience. Best service.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Brunch was offered and small menu in the bar. We chose to sit in the bar. Food was incomplete when served, food quality was less than I could get at a taco shop. Bloody Mary was spicy and full of ground black pepper. According to management, they get a lot of complaints about the bloody Mary's. This is a red flag. Also management allowed the street public to use the restrooms and the wait for the ladies room for my girlfriend was 30 minutes. Again management stated to me that there is only 3 stalls, what can I do about it.

Red flags all over the place. Disappointing experience for F&B industry people.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal and first-class service at Dukes in Huntington Beach, CA last week for our 21st anniversary. With Covid19 we felt safe when seeing the many precautions Dukes took to keep everyone safe as possible. Dining tables were spaced out, servers wearing masks, additional outside patio areas offered. The ambiance,
ocean/pier views and friendly staff were perfect memories for "finally" dining out. They had a smaller menu with well chosen menu items (no crab legs right now, but good for them for doing all they can to provide the best entrees possible now). Food was fantastic, so was the key-lime pie! We'll be back soon to support our local Dukes!!

Went for breakfast because I was led by the internet to believe that they or Sandy's(it's neighbor) had seafood omlettes. Paid $8 to park (not validated by restaurant), went in to eat. The only seafood dish they had was crab Benedict, or, at minimum, a form of it. Okay, here's what it was: the skimpiest English muffin...split...2 poached eggs...about 11/2 oz of flaky crab meat...with a thin nd measily hollandaise ...with fried potatoes $17. Add the breakfast, parking and tips together and you have a genuinely UNDERwhelming, one-time adventure.

The manager helped us and she was super friendly. I loved the wooded interior and felt like I was in luxurious Hawaii. We were able to order the lobster dinner for lunch and it was amazing! I enjoyed a beautiful view and delicious lunch. I can't wait to go back again!

Good seaside restaurant with nice decor and very friendly staff. A suitable place for friends to get together and enjoy the ocean view. As for the food? Well...it was my first time eating there so I chose to order something that I was familiar with: The Seafood Hot Pot. I was pretty hungry, and I had to wait around 10 minutes before the food arrived. My meal was rather small. I gave it a taste and...I have no idea how to describe what I was eating, but I will say that it wasn't very appetizing. I cleaned my plate, and I was still hungry. Oh, and the dish cost me $30. I should have just ordered a Pizza...

Extremely good quality food! Had the Alaskan King Crab and it was amazing. Love how they cut the shell like a pop. Sides were pretty impressive. The sashimi was pretty good with quality wasabi. Also nice that they keep a Maccallan 18. Friendly staff.

I've learned that when one is at Seafood restaurants, one is best served by sticking with seafood. Duh, I know, but....
Great fish, not so much concerning the steaks. Maybe my experience was non-typical but my steak one time wasn't good enough for Sizzler. The fish, on the other hand, has always been great! Really good appetizers, especially the coconut shrimp and calamari. Another good choice is the crab and macadamia nut wontons. Service is above average for a place in this price range. The hula pie is their signature desert and is also great. I realize sometimes there's temptation to have something for non-seafood eaters but my advice is if you want a steak, go to a good steak house. But for seafood, Dukes is a very nice choice. And, you can't beat the view of the Pacific: ask for a table with a view and you'll be glad you did.

A well known chain I have eaten at in many places on the mainland and in Hawaii. Always been impressed and was again, this time with a party of 5 to celebrate a birthday. From the Crab Cakes (Stand out) and Nachos for starters to the salads, Tacos, Fish and Chowder for mains, the food was really good. Huge servings which included sides made for a monstrous meal. Our waiter was exceptional too, nothing was too hard. A lot of Institutional places get dull and boring, not here. Of course, being a birthday Hula pie was mandatory.

Great food for the price you won't regret it. I got the local burger and partner got the steak taco both wer Add some veggies to the kids meal and fix the strap to the diaper change table downstairs and I would add one more star.

We went to celebrate our 31 st anniversary, made reservations, told them about our celebration (not our first visit). We arrived they put us at a table behind a huge pillar, no view. Had to trip the waiter to get service or even water refills. We started celebration our anniversary there 30 years ago. Good is just ok, will not be back. They did nothing to help us to celebrate. Had to go to stand to remind them of anniversary and pay ahead for ice cream to be brought to table as a "surprise" for hubby. He obviously knew what I was doing since had to ask twice to have ice cream brought to table. Good was ok is why I have 2 stars. We are trying to celebrate again tonight, called another restaurant and they are giving us a nice table with a view, I am sure will be a celebration tonight!

Very nice place with inedible view. I went there for taco Tuesday : they have 3 dollars tacos with 5 dollars Margheritas. Margheritas are good. For tacos I recommend the fish which is excellent but pork and chicken are very dry and overcooked. Oh and the key lime pie is absolutely delicious.
