Great dinner with the wife and kids had the tacos then had the hula pie which was awesome and our waitress was awesome!

Duke's in located next to the Huntington Beach Pier. It's a few steps from the sand. The restaurant is casual but serves upscale fare. This is finer dining with an island vibe, not a tourist spot. We sat on the patio, starting with happy hour and appetizers. After a relaxing start, we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Our server was friendly and efficient. Will go back...wanting to try brunch.

Went here for a company party. The service was good and the food too

This restaurant had the worst customer service. Our waiter was Max G and when we sat we asked for the bar menu we wanted the nachos and he told us that management doesn't like serving the bar food in the restaurant. WHAT!!?? We brushed it off ordered our food which by the way took way too long to come out. We were about to leave when we saw 2 plates of nachos being delivered by 2 different waiters at 2 different tables. Either Max was lazy to get a bar menu or he just didn't care. Don't waste your time at this place. The service here was just as bad as the service at the one in Hawaii.

Came here for a get together after work. The drinks are great and the staff is friendly. The food is a bit pricey and the portion sizes are small but I think this place is worth a try. If you do decide to stop in try one of their drinks! I had two from the menu and they were so good! Four stars because the food was good not great!

I do love this place but I was really disappointed in the Thanksgiving dinner last night honestly. My family and I go here every year and this years dinner was a huge disappointment. The sweet potatoes were dry, the Turkey had a green shiny tint to it and parts of the stuffing were hard. All the food lacked flavor. Sorry to say this because every other time of the year it is good. I don't know what happened this year.

Good menu and drinks. A little on the pricey side but not crazy for eating with a view of the beach. The Hula Pie rocks!

Great food! amazing make reservations a week out at least. Parking can be trouble since its on the beach. Get there early to snag your parking spot! May burn a hole in your pocket.

Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Nice bar area with happy hour. The Ocean is walking distance.

Duke's was really good! The service was excellent. The atmosphere was inviting. And the food was good. However, for the price I was expecting a bit more. The portion sizes were okay, but could've been bigger. I tend to eat a lot and don't like it when the hunger feeling lingers after paying money for a meal.

I ordered a Mai Tai which again, was good but not great. Tasted a bit watered down to me. I wouldn't mind eating here again, but probably won't make it a go-to place. I did appreciate the clearly labeled gluten free items on the menu and the knowledgeable server. I felt safe eating my meal.

Great food but small portions for the price. Be prepared to order apps or you'll be leaving somewhat hungry. $$$

This location is a little more "hit or miss" than you'd like it to be on both service and food, but overall good.

great Hawaiian brunch on Sundays. Omelette bar, all the breakfast items table (breakfast potatoes, suasage, bacon, scrambled eggs, pecan french toast, pancakes), dessert table, seafood table. Probably costs $30 each.

If you run a business where a server spills a beverage on a customer wouldn t you at least offer something to the diner for having to mop it off their clothes?!? Maybe this is a normal occurrence but if it were my business I d certainly go out of my way to apologize and offer the customer something for their trouble. Food was fine but it s the whole dining experience by which we judge you Duke s. There are a lot of dining options out there.

Great food and service, celebrated our sons 9th birthday there He living his best life.

Being a vegetarian I found a few things to eat. The best part was the pier walk though with its scenic views and the shops across the street.

Sensational and historic! First time I ate at a restaurant with Hawaiian cuisine, very cool!

Our waiter Steve made our 10th anniversary dinner away from the kids and family so memorable and took care of our every need promptly and with a great sense of humor!!! Thanks for making the experience so memorable!!!

Duke is an easy way to grab lunch and look to see the ocean

The waiting time was 30 minutes even so the half of the restaurant was empty. There are more people waiting outside with the pagers in their hands than the people inside. There are much more better restaurants around than this one. like Coach's Mediterian Grill with exelent solid european food.

I went on a Sunday and it was crazy! Super packed at the restaurant and the surrounding area. Come early to get your name on the list and expect a wait. They will text you when your table is ready so you are able to walk around town and the beach while you wait. We were sat in the front patio and it was pretty loud between the restaurant, PCH, and the pier traffic.
The food was excellent! We had the Korean sticky ribs as an appatizer (pictured). Very tender and had lots of flavor. The meat comes right off the bone so very little mess. There is a little kick to them! I had the prime rib and it was delicious and also had a lot of flavor. Of course you gotta order the Hula Pie for dessert! It's a large slice so expect to share (see picture). It can easily be split between 4 people.
I would definitely recommend this place for a nice date or special occasion but if you are worried about COVID or being around a very noisy environment you may want to try this place on a weekday.

Great service! Coconut shrimp app was delicious. We ordered a steak and lobster tail to share and they nicely split the plate without us asking which was wonderful and the portion size was just right. We had the Reese's cheesecake oh so good! Overall food was fantastic and great service! Highly recommend!

My co worker n I actually jus stopped by to drop off a package to the manager, n he was in a meeting waiting about 15-20 minutes max, manager came out was very courteous n apologetic about being in a meeting (which my co worker n I had absolutely no problem with) n he offered us lunch jus for waiting.... was an awesome gesture n the lunch was absolutely delicious the food was amazing, n the employees were great as well if your ever in the area make sure you stop by n have a bite to eat maybe a drink, guaranteed you won't be disappointed...

I never hesitate treating my friends to a meal at this place when they come for a visit from the midwest. Just wish they made the same potatoe salad you serve in Oahu.

Great service and food was spot on. All 4 in our party were very happy with the entrees that the waiter suggested. If you can get a table looking out across the water it is even better.

I go to have fish I don't see any normal fish the closest they had was 'special' I got that. Piece was so small was a joke I'm a man this is kids meal for $40?! So much salt on fish I couldn't taste it just salt was thirsty rest of the day. Fries were cold cardboard almost as bad as in & out. View is nicer than the food. Also no parking. How does this place even get good reviews?!

Such a fantastic restaurant. I had been to one in Hawaii, but had never been to the one here in Huntington. The service was fantastic, reservations were easy to get, and the view is incredible. All the food was perfectly prepared, wonderfully presented, and some of the most delicious food that I've had at a restaurant. The drink selection is also wonderful. Lots of choices for mixed drinks of all types. I highly recommend eating here. Don't forget dessert!

Met friends at Duke's HB Pier. Opens at 11:30am for lunch...had choice of booth or table. Great service. Had their shrimp and crab salad with a cold Medello beer on tap..
Perfect!...lots of both crustaceans along with avocado and the usual salad fixings and dinner roll on the side.

Being all seniors, some requested and received separate checks....and they were cheerfully accommodated. And if you have handicap parking, Duke's doesn't charge and there are ample spaces at the front door...and they even were willing to keep an eye on my dog in my truck in case she got overly aggressive with dogs walking their owners on the adjacent walkway to the restaurant. She was well behaved it turned out. Duke's consistantly has good casual dining in locations that have great views, the HB pier location is no exception.

The freshness and quality of the food was outstanding! Right on the beach it was truly a beautiful place!
