The food is big box food, it s not fresh like I had hoped especially since it s located right next to the pier. If you are looking for draft beers they have a great selection but that s all they have. The food however, we ve had way better for less at other places near by.

My favorite Duke s. Though I love Waikiki. You can not beat Huntington Beach. This place this view is remarkable. The food the service are outstanding. I continue to come back to this place. It s simple. The food is good and the view is worth a million.
Had a wonderful evening ordered the Ahi and the Huli chicken. I had to get the Duke s famous desert.

Great location, right at the end of Huntington Beach Pier. Perfect place to eat, drink and watch the sunset. Causual/fine dining atmosphere. My family loved their meals, from steak to lobster. I had the halibut, I found my dish to be slightly dry, but only because I ordered the sauce on the side, which I would not do inless you are dairy free like me. My Aunt had same dish with normal preparation and said it was amazing. Service was great, and desserts were delicious. Will come back again!

After a long day of rippin gnarly waverinos with my beach babe we came here to eat some shellies and relax, they wouldnt let us in without shoes, even though we wiped the sand off our feet! Not a barefoot bar, not surfer friendly :(

Nice staff, great view, and awesome food. Had the house special which is a nut and parmesan crusted fresh Opa filet and it was delicious. While expensive the place is upscale and the portions and taste were worth the expense. Good selection of drinks, desserts, and appetizers that were also all delicious.

Good place with nice views and the servers are kind. They offer many different foods, drinks, and desserts. It is right next to the pier, and they have valet parking right in front. The only thing is that it is pricey.

I had the chef's special which at first sounded great coming from the waitress lips, but was too creamy and lacked taste. After squeezing lime on my dish it tasted better. There was not much taste beyond the creamy sauce. The shrimp was great and tasted like REAL shrimp.

Also, as we closed our ticket out, we ran into a problem because she split the ticket when she was not asked to do so. She made it seem as if were a problem to charge each person for what they'd ordered. I believe she was ready to go home and get rid of us colored girls.

Dukes is a fun place with good atmosphere. The food is good, not amazing but good. I will say the hula pie is worth going there for. Hula pie is an oreo cookie crust, stacked with macadamia nut ice cream, topped off with whipped cream, macadamia nuts and hot fudge. If your visiting its a must see, for locals its ok once and a while.

Hawaiian BBQ? Yes sir! Chicken and ribs were outstanding. Macaroni salad and the bok choy macadamia nut side salad also top notch. We also had the macadamias nut encrusted mahi. Again, very good. And they take reservations! Must go to when in HB!

This beachside spot is a great place to hear some Polynesian music with a cold beer and some football. Hang out with some friends or have a date night as you celebrate the accomplishments of Duke K. Mahalo!!!

Came had lunch here during the Air Show.. all the viewable seats were reserved with later time while we waited for their door to open.. we got seated as 2nd rate customers
Basically you have to know the owners or management to get not just a window seat and a personal handshake from the manager on duty.. otherwise the manager just glare.. you are not worthy.
Our waitress was fine.. food was okay..
When we left.. many of the viewing table still hasn't showed up.. many customers complained about their seating.. and the so call Reserved Section.

This place was great. Food was great. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't think I'd like the macadamia nut bok choy slaw but I loved it. The reason I'm giving four instead of five stars is two reasons. 1. The best thing we had there, the key lime pie, is not made there, but kudos to them that they have great taste in what they buy/offer, I was just slightly disappointed they didn't make it in-house. 2. (And this is more legitimate than #1) I had the Mac nut fish dish which had parmesan and panko encrusted fish with a lemon caper sauce which had Italian flavors and was incredible, then there was the house rice which had a Spanish rice flavor with corn, I think, and the Mac bok choy slaw which was something else entirely. While all parts of the dish we're delicious, they did not translate to me to be a cohesive dish. My husband had the sirloin, mashed potatoes, and carrots which is a classic combo, so I know they aren't like a fusion place and they don't advertise themselves to be that... So.... Yeah. I just wish there were unifying or correlating flavors in my dish. That's why it's 4 stars. Everything was really good though

We went on a Friday night with my wife after reading several good reviews, hungry and with high expectations. We started with appetizers, fried crab wonton and deep fried shrimp with a spicy sauce, flavor was OK, nothing special but we had a high expectation on main which was the chef s special recommended by the waitress.

Unfortunately the main was very unbalanced, the fish was totally unseasoned and the rice that came with it was uncooked, we were very disappointed.

We proceed to order couple of additional dishes, my wife got the fish in banana leaf which unfortunately had the same type of rice from the previous main that we ordered, what a disappointment.

I ordered some sort of tuna fish with a yellow sweet wasabi sauce, again no flavor but at least the rice that came with it was cooked. We let the waitress know that probably the chef didn t notice that the rice was not cooked, but we are not sure if the message reach to him or not. Anyway the manager came to apologize which was good, they didn t charge us for the main and provided a dessert to compensate for the experience, which is the reason why we are giving 1 star.

In summary, this place is overrated, we won t return for sure but the manager attitude rescue them from a disaster.

Visited for a birthday. Food was tasty, service was attentive and friendly. Some food portions were small for price. Seafood was expensive. Vibe was relaxed. Reminded me of my Hawaiian vacations.

Good prices, large portions, good options for vegetarians. So why 3 stars? The service was AWFUL. Our waitress wasn't overworked but somehow was the slowest person you could imagine. I asked for a second beer when food came and she came out after we had finished eating and said they were out of that specific beer, and if I wanted a different one. Just no.

Our food and drinks DELICIOUS. Great service by Jess... But when I asked to get another chair for a family of 4 at another table that only had 3 chairs...not even with us... The elderly woman at the hostess desk told me ..You can only have 4 chairs at a table... but the table next to the family of 4 had 8 chairs. The young hosted told me ...Im on it.Then thanked me for telling her. The elderly lady was completely rude and dismissive with my concern for her customers ! Not management material !!!

Glad the Huli Chicken is back - not exactly the same as before but still very good! It's a very busy restaurant, but there's a reason. The food is always great and I've never been disappointed with the server suggestions. Hula Pie is a must!

This place really knocked my socks off & is easily now my favorite Italian place in Miami. The BEST chicken parm I have ever had. Anywhere. Period...end of story. It comes on a bed of homemade pasta that is dressed in olive oil, garlic and pepper. Simple, but executed to perfection & delicious. The chicken itself could not be more perfect. Crispy, juicy and coated in a layer of melted mozzarella and a delicious tangy red sauce. I just can't recommend this dish enough. It's the best meal I've had in Miami in some time. My wife got the squid ink risotto with shrimp and it was superb as well. We had the salmon carpaccio and fried calamari for appetizers and both were good enough to get again.
