Excellent location right on the beach. It was a busy Super Bowl day. But we still managed to a table for six before the score was 10-10.

We had nut crusted Mahi Mahi, dry ribs and wings with Yam fries to start with. Also tried their IPA. Very good.

The atmosphere was lively. We talked with friendly people across the isle. Everybody enjoying the game and pumping for the 49ers.

The prices were reasonable and we had a great server.

I like this place a lot. It is a really nice joint that definitely captures the hawaiian essence. Although I was a huge fan of the ambiance and location I was not overly blown away by the food. The food we got was okay but nothing to write home about in my opinion. I will be back though for the ambiance.

Great

Who would ever buy meat from a fish place??? Me!! Amazing prime rib. Cannot get enough of it. Great Hula pie for our birthday celebration. I am a local and just love this place. Fish rocks too, a big fan of the Opa. Sunset ocean views are amazing. Reservations helpful. Causal but upscale at the same time.

This bar was very crowded and loud. We met the players from a pickel ball tournament which Duke's was a major sponsor of and was told Saturday night was a hospitality night for the players but none of the managers or staff knew anything about it. My suggestion to Duke's is if your going to have a hospitality night announced at a event tell your employees and as a buisness owner myself at least offer a small discount or snack, something hospitable.

Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food & drinks. It was a limited menu but still had many choices to pick from. To eat, we ordered the coconut shrimp and the fish tacos. Pretty good, nothing extraordinary or over the top but still was very delicious. To drink we did have the mai tai's and I will say these were exceptional.

The hostess couldn t even be bothered to look up, greet us or seat us. I then remembered that I don t pay for bad service so I went downstairs to Sandy s Shack and didn t regret it.

To the owner: you have a lazy hostess that you should consider replacing. She is older and blonde.

Well didn't want to post a negative but here goes... 1-2 hours after leaving your place i had the worst food poisoning i have ever had in my life! knocked me out for 2 days in my hotel room... took around 4 days to fully recover ... For some strange reason i was craving a burger?!?! So the chef burger did me in !! should have went for the fish i guess.....

Honestly, the hype on this place is strictly based off its location. The quality of the food is so off point. My husband got a burger. I got the ahi poke bowl. It tasted like a 5 dollar plate. But we got ripped off for it being 17 bucks. It's not worth the money. Dukes in Malibu is so much better.

The salmon is excellent. The burger is great. The Ahi tacostacos are excellent. The Mai Tai is good but not great. The Lava Flow is pure sugar like a bowl of whipped cream with strawberries.

I didn't go to Duke I was downstairs at Sandy's, we had a get-together of about 20 people last minute and they were very accommodating service was good and so were the appetizers and drinks we all got. I know a lot of people who go to Duke's they enjoy it but I can also recommend Sandy's.

What a treat!!!!

What a treat!!!!

Duke's is one of my favorite places to take clients for lunch. It has a diverse menu with the expected surf and turf options with one giant caveat - the fish is extremely fresh and the meats exceptionally selected! They have - hands down - the very best crab cakes in the world. I have enjoyed there steaks, chicken, and fish. Their fish and chips is phenomenal but nothing compared to their other dishes.

If you want a great experience and not afraid to spend $25+ per person, stop by Dukes!

I love good seafood. Duke's has great seafood. It's loud and lively because it is on Main and PCH. The view is incredible and it really makes you want to hang out and enjoy the whole experience. We had a big group and the servers did an excellent job on a very busy night. If you have been to Duke's in Kauai, it's the same scene but the food is better.
