I was traveling on an official trip. The room was fine. On my checkout, I asked the front desk for a copy of the receipt for my records. That is when he started yelling at me with slangs and didn t give me a receipt. After a minute , I realized the the man was under influence with something foul smelling in his mouth. This man looked from somewhere abroad.
This place was disgusting! We checked out right after viewing the room. We could not even stay there, due to the amount of filth in the room. We had requested a smoking room, but didn't expect what we found! There were at least 10 burn holes in each of the comforters and another 10 (at least) on the sheets. We flipped the matress to check for bugs and found a bunch of hair (short and curly ones ) and food on the liners. There was also food stuck to the blankets and sheets. The doors and light switches were covered in black residue. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Hair and filth everywhere in there... The staff offered us a refund, but did not offer to clean the room better. I would NEVER recommend this place! Save your money and go somewhere else!!
I would give it a 0 if I could we checked in and dropped off our stuff then we went and ate. After coming back I went in the bathroom to find black mold on the wall we have to check and move to another hotel.
This morning during continental breakfast. I went once early for a drink and something small to eat, when i went back for something else a couple hours later the front desk lady asked me if i was there earlier this morning. I said yes am i not allowed to come back. She said well all your paying for is one small bed. I have traveled all over the place for work and have never been told this or treated so badly.
My husband found a dead roach in the room. Room 315. I'll never stay @ a super 8 again

Location is fine, rooms are clean, and service is good but the thing sucks is thst they dont let bring our breakfast to our room.
Beautiful, clean and has amenities that other hotels fail to have for their guests we made a last minute middle of the night reservation and they were very accomadating the rooms are large with beautiful decor I would definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation and will stay again should I ever need to in the future.
STAY AWAY!! BED BUGS! BED BUGS! We reserved a large king size room and got a teeny tiny room with "stains" on the bedspread, cigarette burns in the blankets (non-smoking room), nails sticking out of the floor in entrance to bathroom, and NO bathtub! Just a small, dark, dingy, dirty shower stall with a curtain over it....and a wooden seat...it felt like we were roughing it. The "free Wi-Fi" didn't even work and the "breakfast" consisted of stale prepackaged cheese danishes. Oh, and just the icing on the cake, we discovered bed bugs the next morning, not just in the bed either! I'm beyond ticked off! We had to find a laundromat to kill off the varmints before we got home. Absolutely disgusting! Gives Super 8 motels a bad name!

Last minute booking, still got a great deal, considering it was labor day weekend, night of the fireworks. Only downside was the rush of the staff to put away breakfast so quickly.
Rooms are fairly dingy. The outside doors seal was falling off and light and sound came in as if you were basically outside. To make matters worse the hotel is right next to the freeway so you hear everything. TV mount was very crooked. Walls were dirty. And the shower hardly had pressure.
Not too much to say other than it was clean and comfortable and a decent TV. Don't bother with the coffee in the room, yuck, coffee at breakfast not much better however waffles, juice and pastries were good and inclusive. Unfortunately the air/heater machine by window didn't turn on and the switches to change settings broken, otherwise okay and nice people at front desk.

I'd recommend everyone to stay here. The lady that runs it is so very nice. She really cares about her guest and employees. The room was really nice and super clean.
My father and I had separate rooms. We have no complaints. We were checked in by a friendly lady with freckles (I can't remember her name). The linens, beds, and furniture were clean and comfortable, and everything was in working order. The big screen tv got just about all of the popular cable channels. The fridge and microwave worked well. Our rooms were facing the highway, so we got some traffic noise. It was mostly a continuous low sound that you stopped noticing until a truck blew its horn. There was a train that went by at night, too. The other guests were very friendly and sociable. We would have kept our doors open if not for the insects. My father liked the coffee. They leave some out all night. There are plenty of food places nearby on the other side of the highway, or you can walk to Dairy Queen. It was very quick and easy to get into Cincinnati from here. The lady who checked us out was also very friendly considering she wasn't feeling well. My tiny complaint was the cobwebs in the ceiling corner and in the window frame near the door. To be fair, I didn't see one of them until I accidentally hit it with a towel. My father had a candy wrapper and a pen under his bed. My bathroom drain was running a little slow, so I let the lady at checkout know. I would definitely stay here again.
It was safe & well lit, easy to get to and from. The staff was very kind. However, the bathroom in the room was on the filthy side. The shower hasn't been wiped down in how knows how long, there are sticky stains all over the cement outside the rooms. The shower head was calcified and dirty. Sink had stain in it. TV was brand new, elevator worked. Curtains barely stayed shut, which is important when u have a walkway next to the rooms. I would recommend for a quick over night, but nothing longer!
This place had a weird smell in the lobby,the light in the bathroom had a mind of its own,and my bed had stains and hair all through it.

Stayed several night in different rooms. All except one was clean, but well-worn, with cigarette holes in blankets and sheets, etc. . . Not a terrible place to rest for the money. The last night, while checking in, there was a guy in the lobby sitting there talking about how he "wish he had a room" and asking if I was a child of God, tried giving me a wallet, etc. . . (weird). I eventually ignored him, and the hostess told me "he's talking to you" like I was the one being rude. Then, when we got to our room, she called to tell us my card was declined. My bank said there was no reason for this. So I pulled a reservation online with the same card and it worked fine. Just a weird experience. It is convenient to where we work, but I might just pick somewhere else the next time.
My daughter and I stayed here for the opening of Coney Island, it was nice. No major complaints. The only negative part about the hotel is that I understand saving money and electricity but we came in the room and everything was unplugged. Tried to hook up the tv but it wouldn't turn on. Some of the plugs didn't work also. But all in all the experience was nice.
An older hotel but it's still good enough to stay the night. Nice and quiet.
Somebody stole my money from the drier while I was washing my clothes and entered my room after check out and stole things that they are trying to charge me for now and refuse to check the cameras!!!
Absolutely horrible! Dirty rooms, cigarette holes in covers and shower curtain. Lamp was barely connected to the wall. Blow dryer was pulled half way off the wall. Looked like feces on the bathroom door. But best of all, I woke up with bed bug bites all over my neck. I really wish I could post a picture! It's absolutely disgusting! Now I have to bomb my car with all the belonging I brought with me because I can't even bring them in my house.
Horrible. I never rate hotels but this one is horrible. Bathrooms smelled like someone was smoking in it all day and night. There was hot water at night but was told it was normal to wait 30 minutes for water to warm up in the morning. Changed to 2 different rooms and was still the same. Heater didn't work properly and shower know all were installed backwards. Only plus was cost. Only reason I stayed because I was to lay to switch hotels which if you travel lots like I do you will understand.
Rooms dont seem clean even though they are, lampshade wasnt on the lamp, room had a coffee maker and coffee, but no coffee filter, everything was eh, except the service was fantastic and friendly. I had to stay here two nights because i got in a car accident. It wasnt that bad but still not great. 126 bux for 2 nights though, who can argue with that?

Cigarette holes in the bedding. A stain in the top comforter. Friendly evening guy, very rude morning staff that at 901am yelled at everyone in the lobby eating breakfast that it was over. And rushed around putting everything away. The furniture is dated/with dents and gashes missing from it. Also the lights are all motion sensor with the one for the bathroom outside so the lights turned off while I was showering. Super dangerous!

Friendly staff, clean, just what you'd expect. Would have been 5 stars but the price was substantially higher because of Labor Day weekend. Kind of messed up a few of our plans.

Stayed in room 307. Hulk force required to close bathroom door and the tv took 5 minutes to turn on every time. Otherwise, cheapest room in town during an event. For a budget, not to bad.
This was a last minute place and even though we were in three non smoking rooms they all stunk. The rooms,the pillows,the bedding. The reason we find out was because the people that ran the place all smoked in the laundry

This hotel is not a bad-looking Hotel. This hotel would have been a nice place to stay had it not been for the ignorant front desk person or the fact that you cannot connect your own equipment to their television. There are two front desk people that I dealt with. One was an older lady with short hair, sweet as pie. The other was a lady that had black hair, an accent, and a very nasty attitude. They have a pool but yet they don't want to give out extra towels if you ask for them. She inquisitioned me about how many people were in my room instead of handing me the towel that was right behind her that I asked for. She then argued with me that the amount of towels in the room should be enough . What she didn't know is it seemed like someone didn't completely have enough towels and maybe thought they were going to come back and bring more but just forgot. We most definitely did not have enough towels to shower let alone to swim. Then I let her know that I had a late check-out and I asked her to check the system to make sure that it was recorded. She then lazily tells me oh just flag down a housekeeping staff member and tell them. In other words don't bother me. The whole reason why I'm telling you is because we won't be in the room Einstein. We stayed a little later to enjoy the pool. The place does not have an HDMI cable for the television so if you bring your own PlayStation and think that you're going to let your children play and have a little fun that's out of the question. You'll always be watching their very limited television stations. Overall I normally love Suoer 8's. They are a great value for the price you pay. This one could be also if they get rid of the ignorant woman with the nasty attitude at the front desk.
This place is disgusting. I walk in and you smell mold. In the NON-SMOKING room, there's a comforter that is covered in cigarette burns. There's mold all over the bathroom ceiling. I checked for bed bugs, and thankfully none that I've seen. If there was any other place around here to get into, I would be GONE. It smells, it has gnats everywhere, I'm gone as soon as possible. I can't believe that I paid for this hotel room. DISGUSTING.

Stuff on the walls (Orange tinge glob of something) right around the head board area. Cigarette burn hole on top comforter on one bed. Room smelled bad. Second room given #107. Cigarette burn hole on top sheet. Black smear on pillow case. Cigarette burn holes in multiple places on shower curtain.
IMPORTANT: You can not leave the lobby area with your breakfast or drink. You are governed by the staff to consume what you want before you leave.
Personal note: I traveled the united states for 11 years for work. This hotel ranks among the worst i have personally stayed in. Others that rank like this are the $29.99 kind of rooms.
Pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Dirty rooms. Burn holes and questionable stains on the bedding. I thought I might catch skmething. Dirty and dilapidated furniture. Stains on the walls. Just overall filthy. Never again. The majority of the clientele this place attracts are the least desirable as well.
Please pay the extra money this was not a good experience
We stayed here once before as we were traveling through KY because compared to other area motels it was the least $$ and we truly just needed a place to sleep. Since our last trip, they've repaved the parking lot and our room seemed a bit nicer. The beds were comfy, the linens were clean and soft, and the room was clean. There were standard amenities like coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge, flat screen TV with basic cable and free Wi-Fi. Continental breakfast available, too.
The bed must be fifty years old, so uncomfortable, the blankets older
Internet very weak
Carpet was sticky
Toilet was so short, I actually looked around for the adults bathroom

The room wasn't bad, the air conditioning only had one setting really cool. I woke freezing and shut it off and very noisy. Other wise not a bad room.
Good location to stop heading south/north. Cheap and convenient. The room was as you might expect for super 8. Basic but serviceable. The main problem was the dirty sheets that I had to ask them to change.
Well the lady at the front was rude, wanted a copy of my debit card for a deposit and i refused, so she charged us an extra 20 dollars. We traveled 1.5 hrs and my son is 4 yrs old he plopped down on the couch and she said hes a wild child you better keep the room clean dont make a mess. Dont let him touch anything. My son is not destructive and if he broke something id pay for it. She didnt even tell us when the breakfast was. The breakfast was waffles, 2 kinds cereal, little to no milk no fruit. Orange juice was gross my son wouldn't drink it. The room was ok beds were comphy, bathroom had a mildew smell. Im pregnant and it was making me sick to smell it, had to buy air freshener for it. The pool was ok had leaves in it, the area around the pool was a mess. And broken chairs. I will not be coming back here. These fourners who own this place need to learn to be nicer and run this place better. Next time ill pay a little more for a better hotel.
Have stayed about every year for 10 + years.On way to motorcycle show in Ohio. Cheaper rates. Easy on and off. Basic motel.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! When we got into our room it stunk of marijuana, found several ROACHES in the room and the cable cord behind the TV was burnt up.. The entire compound needs a Hazmat team to come in and get rid of all the little bugs in the place... I wouldn't even recommend this hotel for a homeless person to stay in.
But the front desk lady was very nice, the only positive experience from that place.

The room was mostly clean. The beds were ok, shower was decent, and it had a fridge and microwave. The area it's in is a bit sketchy, but I didn't have any problems.

If I could rate them less I would. They told me that it would be $69 for 2 nights and I checked my bank, they charged me $140! We called to tell them they messed up and the man talked to my husband like a dog and told him it was too late. I found old fries under our bed and seen a few roaches. Do not go here!
This experience was very underwhelming. Everything appeared fine when we got there, but my fiance tried to take a shower right after we arrived and the shower didn't work. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and there was activity outside the rooms all night. The people hanging around outside at all times were questionable at best. Would not stay here again.
Somehow room service or someone else had go into my room and stole my wallet that had my bank card in it and also a $20 bill off of my dresser, I did the early checkin around 5-6 am and went straight to my room and locked the door and took everything out of my pockets and placed it on the dresser, 2 packs of cigs, lighter, change, loose bills, wallet, i.d, key card to room, and woke up and only had $6 and some change a $5 bill and a $1 bill and my i.d and my key card to my room...
