Awesome experience.must visit once. Though shops are closed but food carts are available on Christmas. Also fun activity like skiing is the attraction though waiting time is too much which is quite obvious there. Light musical presentation is mind blowing

Stunning views, yes, but it's packed to the point you cannot move. Queues to get in, queues to get out, want to get a cool photo of arguably the best view of the world's most famous skyline? Prepare to get the back of peoples heads in shot as you'll be 3-4 deep to the edge of the view. Then add every opportunity to sell you something as you pass through.

Basically, beautiful views, far too busy.

Brilliant view of the city skyline, weather was overcast when we visited and then it started to rain which made cut the visit short, however on a good day and even during the night it would be fantastic. Went during the morning so it wasn't busy.

I love every single thing about Rockefeller Center, from skating on the ice rink with colorful world countries flags flapping in the wind, to slowly wandering the interior east-west retail and north-south transit corridors with a cup of coffee to see the historic 1930s murals on wall and ceilings to discover every nook and cranny of this place. I particularly love seeing where entrances poke up from the underground corridors to the street or even inside adjacent buildings.

If your here during holiday season you need to find time to come skate the rink. It's a ton of fun. We did the vip which was worth it. Got free waters, hot coco, no line, and could rest peacefully when needing a break.

Such a wonderful historical building. Get inside and visit le lobby. Wonderful paintings all over the walls and the ceilings. Enjoy the ice rink if go go during the summer and the wonderful flowers display at winter. Great experience!

This place is very festive when the holidays come around. The entire area is decorated with lights with the tree being the focal point. Nearby skating rink also attracts people, along with shops and the lighting show. Great fun with family and friends, I would recommend taking the subway since it gets crowded.

Fun location, great spot for people watching and taking memorable photos. A variety of eateries, coffee shops, and stores to explore down below in the concourse. Public restrooms available here. The number one spot to visit during Christmas to get into the spirit of the holidays, view the magnificent tree and watch the ice skaters. Cannot help feel the joyous vibes when visiting here during the holidays.

We visited the Top of the Rock on a beautiful autumn day, and the views were spectacular. We would especially commend the staff in the gift shop at the bottom of the tower,, who gave us great service

This is absolutely a must do when you're in New York! Nothing feels more like Christmas than the Rockefeller center Christmas tree. This is conveniently centered near everything so lots of sightseeing to do around here. The tree is simply jaw dropping. No camera will do it justice, you must see it with your own eyes. I love how much space is dedicated to present such beauty. You can even ice skate in the Rockefeller center while looking at the beautiful tree. Something really cool to know is they donate all the lumber once it is taken down, meaning it doesn't go to waste, how cool! Definitely recommend when visiting New York during the holidays.

TOTALLY AWESOME! A MUST DO while in NYC!!!!! While we waited, there was a nice gift shop with affordable mementos! The elevator ride up was VERY smooth! The scenery from the top (all kinds of different levels!) was exquisite - If you go in the early evening, you can see the sun go down and then, experience NYC from a whole different perspective - FULL OF MILLIONS OF LIGHTS! Beautiful!!!!! Well worth the trip up to the top! Get your tickets in advance (if you are able) - no lines! :)

I always love visiting Rockefeller Ctr. We don't usually skate because it is expensive, but the people watching and grounds are lovely year round. Visiting the shops for food or some shopping (pricey) is also fun.

Great nearby shopping options. Has Rockfeller Center Cafe on the concourse which is not very expensive for its prime location and serves good portions. Few upscale dining options available too. 5-10 minutes walk from nearest metro station and 7 blocks from Bryant park. It is a must visit site on Christmas.

The best vantage point in NYC. My third time up the top of the rock and it never gets old. First time I experienced a sunset slot, it was awesome, seeing all the buildings light up. Magical.

A great place to visit for iits gardens, shops, history, ice skating rink and more. You can find Legos, Pokemon, and Tiffany's all in one place. Watch NBCs Today Show from the plaza. The is also a huge underground mall with dozens of stores, restaurants and more.

Top of the rock is the best sightseeing attraction. It is better than the empire state, the world trade center. It has no bars, just wide open. The first floor has glass panes and the second floor is just wide open(no structures that hinder the view). Night view/sunset is beautiful.

This is an unique experience for anyone who loves Christmas, tree, lights, and crowds. The tree is gigantic and looks the best in the evening when it is completely lit. The ice skating rink add to the feel. Try the rating opting available near by and also don t miss the light show at Saks. This year the theme was Frozen and standing amidst the crowd is worth it. However Be prepared to walk and be a part of a slow moving crowd. But the crowd is well controlled and hence not very tiring.

We had a wonderful time at the Rockefeller Center. The art deco alone was great to look at, but the Top of the Rock view over Central Park was just wonderful and we spent a lot of time looking over the surrounding area. Of course with shops and eateries within the center itself, there is plenty to do and see. The Top of The Rock experience is part of the City Pass and was well worth it on a sunny day.

Beautiful place lots of cool places to see and shop. Very friendly stuff, especially nypd cops are very friendly . Willing to answer the questions and take photos, God bless NYC cops , we need more Security near the Rockefeller center, way too many people visiting all year round non stop. Also very nice coffee shops around.

The tree is wonderfully beautiful !

But if you decide to go to the lighting of the tree be prepared to encounter a LOT of people and to freeze ! But worth it for the pictures .

We visited in the evening so the NBC store helped salvage this trip. Also it's a great clean bathroom stop in the city for a family. Where the ice skating rink is was under construction so that was roped off in May and a little disappointing but the shops and eateries were cool!

Amazing place! The tee is magnificent, hopefully they didn't take it down yet. If you dint make it, try to go there during the Christmas season, its beautiful during the day and night.

Although expensive and shopping here wasn't really a realistic thing for me, the view from Top of the Rock was well worth the wait, walk, and price tag. I'd recommend coming to see the sunset and then looking out at the night sky before leaving back down. Security is tight- so be careful of what you bring too. Worth the trouble though!

Don't go to the Empire State Building to see all of New York from the top. Go instead to Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center. Much better view of the south and North (Central Park). Worth the wait!

Beautiful historic building. Was a pleasure to be able to cross this off my list of things to see and do. It's a must see when visiting New York. I would however suggest getting the Express pass as it will save you time from standing in line. Gorgeous views. Remarkable building

An incredible building with incredible architecture. Additionally, the center at the front of the building such as the nice skating rink and Christmas tree(only open during the holidays in December) is a architectural marvel. Finally the interior of the building is very luxurious and welcoming making Rockefeller Center an amazing building

Really beautiful place, especially during the winter with the giant Christmas tree. Definitely make sure to stop by no matter the season. It's also close to a lot of other tourist attractions, and children can enjoy the neighboring LEGO store.

Big tourist hub in NYC. Depending on the timing seeing the tree isn't so bad. Should be on your list of stops when visiting the city, but honestly, get out and see more! Visit Harlem, go out too Brooklyn. There is more to see than just this place.

It was beautiful to see in December. However the crowd's were insane & way to many people. I do not recommend bringing a wheelchair nor stroller because it's extremely hard to walk through the crowd's. No-one moves out of your way, they run you down. I'd try to go when the kids are in school and a weekday never Friday, sat or Sunday. NYPD are helpful.
