They e-mailed a confirmation of my appointment on 1/29, telephoned (via computer) a confirmation of my appointment on 1/30. Arrived more than the 15 min. early as required for my appointment this morning, 1/31, only to discover a note on the door stating that they closed the office for the entire week of 1/29 due to illness. Are you kidding me? Horrible customer service! =(
Dr Provo only cares about making money. He will diagnose you with many things and then tells you to purchase his stuff. Worst experience ever. Stay away from this doctor.
I had a slip and fall and was told that the doctor would only look at one body part per visit. In other words, the doctor. would not look at my knee, wrist and lower back in one visit but required me to make 3 separate appointments. I would never visit this office again.
I was greeted warmly by the girl up front, I think her name was Luisa. She took all my info and promptly took me back. I was seen by Dr. Povo, his attention to detail was really impressive. What really took me back was how much he tried so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. That simple act of humanity is what is going to keep me going back
Very disappointed in the clinic and they way they are run. People in the front are not very friendly and it s seems the doctor does not really know what he s doing and clearly gives preferential treatment to different people. I would not come back here and I would not recommend that any loved ones come here.
Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for treatment. Where do I even begin... everyone that works there looks like they are mad at the world. They weren t welcoming AT ALL. When the doctor finally came into my room almost two hours later, all he talked about was himself. Barely addressed what I was being seen for, he seemed more interested in flaunting his NBA history and what schools he went to. I had an injection done and he didn t even clean the area before shoving a needle into me. Now I worry if I ll get an infection!!! He didn t seem very educated on the ultrasound device either since all he told me is I m seeing clouds but did not explain anything about it in detail.
I would not send my worst enemy to this horrible doctor. All he cared about was taking my money and making himself look important. Even tried selling me on a fat stem cell injection involving lipo?!!!! How unsanitary do you think THAT would be considering he couldn t prep correctly for my steroid injection. This facility doesn t even deserve one star. I agree with the rest of these reviews, STAY AWAY!!
Highly recommended! The girls at the front desk are extremely nice and the doctor truly takes his time to make sure you understand everything. The entire staff is awesome definitely check them out!

What a gem! I made an appointment and they saw me the same day. Front desk was well run and efficient. The technician was professional and caring. She offered to let me squeeze her hand when getting my numbing block. Dr. Provo was excellent! He was very personable, professional and kind. I broke my finger and he set it back to normal. Dr Provo helped me more than any orthopedic pain specialist ever has! I recommend him to all my friends or people who I see are suffering. I have lived with excruciating back pain for many years. Dr Provo has lessened my need for injections and help me considerably with PRP. I have been pain-free for one year. This has never happened in my last 14 years of pain. Dr Provo changed my life!
I just left this facilty. I wanted a second opinion on my sons diagnosis and his film on his elbow. I did not want to give them the report and them just go off of what the report said.Thats fine if they say they do not read MRIs. The problem is , if am talking to the physician assistants ,I do not need the front desk person in the background interupting our conversation. Very rude, and she had the audacity to say she didnt care. She wanted to make sure I know what services they do not do by saying it after every sentence I said. Now I am getting angry. Customer service is very important and she has bad front desk manners. I have the right to question and ask if I do not agree or understand. The PA was very nice although he did roll his eyes, but he did let me speak and explained things to me and was patient.
Both Dr. Provo and Dr. Tyree were instrumental in healing my rotator cuff injury. From the initial diagnosis to the prp shot to the PT afterwards, both were available for me to talk to. My shoulder had a full recovery and without them I would have needed surgery.
I came to this place with a shoulder injury. The staff is professional and truly knowledgeable. They display a personal interest for their patients. The location is Clean and well equipped. My therapy with Dr. Ashton and his staff exceeded the expectations. I like weightlifting and they have helped me to incorporate the therapy into my work out and progressively get better as they teach me proper ways to each work out. If I ever find my self on need of their services I will not hesitate to reach out to them.
I drove 45 minutes as a new patient for a sprained ankle. From making the appointment to being seen everyone was so polite and nice. I didn t wait long to be seen. The doctor was to the point and had excellent bed side manner. The X-ray tech was super nice he was the best part of my experience. If every clinic had techs like him then doctors appointments would be such a hustle very informative and kind. When I left the checkout process was quick and easy. I got in my car and forgot my doctors note, the front desk girl brought my note out for me so I wouldn t have to come back inside. Very happy and excited for my follow up.
Just for clarification THIS DOCTOR IS NOT A PEDIATRIC ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR!!!! My grandson came to this clinic because we were concerned he might have an orthopedic deformity. I was told the doctor could evaluate and treat him. I paid the 300 dollars hoping for answers and all I received in return was being told I need to see a pediatric orthopedic doctor for further evaluation WHICH I THOUGHT HE WAS. I called to get my money back because clearly this doctor steered me wrong and I was told that I paid for his medical opinion?!?!?! I was unaware that a medical opinion was to see an actual pediatric orthopedic after spending my hard earned money. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE COMING TO THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR!!!!!

Very disappointed in this establishment. Doctor Provo does not seem to truly care for you health, more about the size of your wallet. He blatantly tries to ask questions into knowing how much you make. Prices are different for different people, and I have confirmed this by talking to other who have gone here and had the same procedure done. It is outrageous he thinks he can charge $1000 for a measly PRP shot, when I am not ever sure they were using properly sanitized and looked like the bottle had previously been opened. He grabs the cap of the needle with his mouth, and proceeds to spit it on the floor! How unsanitary?

Experience was great. Office is clean, professional and love the idea that I can get in to see a Doctor or PA right away when I am in pain and not have to wait a week or two for an appointment (which was the case at another orthopedic office). The staff couldn't be nicer.
Quite disappointed with the Dr. and staff at this "clinic". There is always a wait time even when you have an appointment, they clear do not care about anyone else's schedule. There have also been many mis-diagnosis where this Dr. Provo is blatantly trying to over charge the insurance and sending people for scan and other things they do not need! He tried to with me, but I know better as I have a medical background and I have heard the same form other people. Avoid like the plague

Dr. Provo and Dr. Ashton helped me out with my knee pain and I was able to learn and get back to playing Rugby really quickly with no pain at all. I would recommend anyone to these guys for both athletes and people just looking to fix their orthopedic pain. They are really knowledgeable and a lot of fun.
Service was quick and staff was more than helpful. My visit was short notice and had to split my appointment between the doctor and his assistant and could not be happier with my experience. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs some quick advice. Bonus is Physical Therapy right next door with a very helpful Doctor, now my orthopedics of choice.
My 3 year old son hurt himself and they took me same day. They were very calm and gentle with him. Very aggressive approach and proactive. I tried 7 other Orthopedic offices and no one could get me in for days.
I had an unbearable hip pain from squatting. I went to a number of doctors and physical therapists before finding Dr. Tyree. He was the only one that was able to get me back to squatting and even helped me beat my all time best squat after being off squatting for over 8 months. Beyond that, he's a therapist hat geneinely cares for his patients and has helped me continually even after our sessions ended. Can't recommend him enough!
To preface this: I had already sought treatment from a PT that was recommended by my doctor and received questionable treatment (foam rolling, IASTM, non-specific to my injury exercises - standard PT glute exercises), no plan to return to lifting, and no improvement in my condition.
I worked with Dr. Ashton Tyree in Boca Raton Florida after getting PRP on a torn tendon in my foot. I cannot understate how important it is that you find a provider that understands your athletic background.
Ashton laid out my plan to return to action on a reasonable time table, explained WHY we were doing the exercises he prescribed to me, and even some help with unrelated issues. He was more than happy to answer all of my questions in depth. Within a few weeks I was able to progress from my foot in a boot to squatting 275x8x2 in his office.
If you're in South Florida and looking to get back to whatever your sport is, Ashton is the man.
Fast, professional and seem to be extremely knowledgeable in orthopedics! Avoid regular Walk in clinics if you're having any orthopedic related issues. This place is a one stop shop for your orthopedic needs. Can't recommend it more.
We were thrilled to find this practice, when my daughter fell and we feared she broke her ankle. We were there the moment they opened, and they took her in almost immediately. We were very grateful! Due to COVID, I was not permitted to accompany her inside, which I understood. My daughter really liked Dr Provo, however, I feel this was a complete disastrous experience, and we got absolutely nothing for the $450 it cost us. The front desk girls are rude, and robotic. Upon arrival, we were told they do not accept her insurance, so I agreed to pay cash. They ran my credit card prior to being seen for the visit $300. They took x-rays, and the Dr said he "could not tell from her films if she had a fracture or not, or if what he saw was a previous fx, but he went on to inform her that hers was the "most unusual foot xray he had ever seen" describing bone loss and other concerning issues. He then remarked "Concerning, but I don't think it is cancer"! Upon leaving, I was once again asked for my credit card to charge the boot they prescribed. Why they collect first, and then again for any additional charge is just ridiculous, rude, like they are afraid you will be treated and run out without paying.....all while I am giving my credit card number over the phone because they wont allow me inside, I sure did not feel comfortable reading out my card number, twice. When my daughter went to check out, she requested a copy of her invoice, which lists treatment codes and service and description, etc., however, we were advised that they do not offer anything upon leaving,just my CC receipt, and would be "sent to us in a few days" we should call them and requestagain in a few days, if we wanted it! So, 20 minutes of care, $450 out of pocket, and they don't have the courtesy to provide a detailed invoice upon checkout, so we can try to be reimbursed from our insurance company! I have never been to a physicians office that refused to provide a detailed invoice at checkout. So, we need to wait to be reimbursed, yet, they charge cards multiple times during one visit to be sure they get paid! I then asked for a copy of her x-ray be sent, based on the scary report the doctor discussed, and they told me I would have to drive back and pick up a hard disk, but I would need to pay for it $15.00 because they do not email films. How absurd! I work for a physicians office and we email films all day long both in and we send films out, to radiologists and to referral doc's! We waited a full week to receive our invoice and x-ray report, five days, and in the report the Doctor diagnosed a fracture, none of the ambiguous thoughts he had during the time of the visit, and absent entirely from his report of her films, was any mention of the reasons he felt they were the "most unusual foot film he had ever seen", not a word mentioned about the bone loss, the mass, or spur in the center of her foot, and a host of the other things of concern he remarked in person to the patient! We waited a week for that report so that we could get her in to be seen by an ortho to look at all these radiographic findings we were told about, and a week later when it arrived, it had no mention of one of these issues that he so scared my daughter about! Complete waste of time and mone, in my opinion!
I have no idea how anyone could give Boca Walk- In Orthopedics any sort of bad rating. It seems that there is just no pleasing some people... I have never had a bad experience here!
The doctors and staff at Boca Walk-In are amazing! It is obvious that everyone here genuinely cares about the patients. Whether you see Dr. Provo or his Physicians' Assistant, Christina, you are guaranteed to have an appointment that is both efficient and effective.
The Physical Therapist, Dr. Ashton Tyree is the BEST therapist in the state! His treatments should be the norm among all physical therapists rather than the exception. The goal, regardless the activity level of the patient, is not just to heal your pain, but to make sure that pain in prevented by making you stronger and fixing the way you move! No time-wasting like that which is found in EVERY other clinic! If you want to get better, come see Dr. Tyree!!!
They have an excellent staff working there everyone is very professional, but you will pay for every cent. I had a problem on my foot they did all exams but never find out for sure what my problem was, they gave me some cortisone shot that help but never heal or fixed the problem, they order two biopsy that mine insurance did not cover for so I had to pay out my pocket. In the end they never find out my problem did not solve anything even with insurance I end up paying a lot money. Just be carefully before walk in there, they will see you but be ready to pay for.
Excellent Dr. Provo Rocks!! I had to see him twice. Once for my foot, second time for my knees. I could not walk. He is so caring, patient and smart. Great sense of humor too! He helped me both times. I can walk. I now have a new physical concern, and am reaching out to him again because this is a doctor I trust that gives proven results. The front desk staff is very friendly and kind. I rarely write reviews, but I had to write this one. When a doctor can change a life for the better it needs to be heard. Dr. Provo is the BEST!!
I've been going to Dr. Provo for a few years now...he has treated me for shoulder/neck issues, and he has been wonderful. He explains everything clearly, he is thorough, and I love that he uses the ultrasound to pinpoint exactly where the shots need to go!
My hubby also goes to Dr. Provo. He recently threw his lower back out and has been in tremendous sciatic pain that radiates down his left leg/knee. Dr. Provo has been awesome with my hubs...he's taken great care with giving him shots and recommendations for next steps.
Dr Provo corrected the issue I had with thier billing/ fees. I am impressed and have no issues since they stepped up and resolved.

Physicians assistant Christina for over 2 1/2 years her conservative approach to my treatment has helped with severe tendinitis in my wrist meniscus in my knees. Her conservative approach has helped me avoid painful surgery. She's always outlined alternative approaches to my treatment kudos to her!
I never leave reviews but after my family members experience here I just hope others read what I have to say and take into account the horrible experience we had here. My brother came in after he fell onto his elbow. He was unable to move his elbow and he was very swollen. He had an exam performed on him which demonstrated a break in his elbow. He said from the looks of it the break was pretty severe. He also mentioned the doctor continuously told him the injury did not require surgery and it was possible to treat his injury conservatively. My family member was not understanding why the doctor was not suggesting surgery because the person who aided him to the doctor was a trained medical professional and she noticed the severity of the issue. Never the less we were told we needed an additional study to clarify the course of treatment. After a couple weeks he came back with the results only to be told he needed surgery. I felt that my family members arm was put in jeopardy. We paid out of pocket for everything and wasted our time and money. We received the run around so the doctor could milk every dollar from us instead of the proper course of treatment. This place of business seems to care more about money than the well being of patients. Please do your research before contacting this place of business.
This review is for Dr. Ashton Tyree / physical therapist. I was very impressed with my first visit with him, but wanted to review after several visits. He is a very engaging younger generation person who has remained punctual to the appointment, professional in all behavior, efficient with his time per visit, and he gives great homework, even suggests videotaping the exercise routines to help me 'remember' how they look....His memory ability and knowledge base are outstanding, he is humorous and personable and patient. He even plays music based on preferences that you share. He is flexible with his plan when I describe that something is causing me pain or not helping... He truly intends to return me to as much spine health as I can possibly have.

injured my foot somehow just before taking a long trip out of town. Considerable pain, and not knowing if there were anything serious I should be considering before getting on a plane for 6 hours and sightseeing/walking around, for brought me into the "Walk-In". Great front desk, nice staff got me in right away. X-ray did not show anything broken. Got a steroid shot to reduce swelling and initiate healing, along with an attractive foot boot (not), and set up a followup visit for my return. Peace of mind knowing that I did not have anything broken that I was damaging further. Highly recommend.
As the son of an orthopedic surgeon, I was fortunate to have immediate personal medical care for sports injuries for 30 years. Now that my father is retired, I wait in line just like everyone else.
When I recently came down with a painful case of tennis elbow from lifting weights, I decided to bypass the red tape and long wait times at Holy Cross and call Dr. Provo. What a difference. Of course he's intelligent, but he was also very personable and explained to me 1) why I got injured and 2) how to avoid injuring myself again.
I called late in the afternoon and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The intake process was very efficient and they took my insurance. I received a cortisone shot and was on my way in no time. Finally - a physician's office that "gets it". Thank you Dr. Provo.
These guys just want you in and out, really a rip off. Don t notify you ahead of time with the testing they do and confirm anything with the patient before you know it, its $350 testing that was useless because an MRI was the only thing needed. I overpaid for some visits and still havent got the refund for them! Dr. Ashton is great at what he does and always makes you feel welcomed as well as the assistant Christina.
This place is the biggest rip off! all their worried about is taking people's money. Service is quick and unhelpful what so ever..charged me 150 dollars so all the Dr can do is prescribe me meds without even giving me a solution..this place is a absolute joke all their worried about is taking care of one patient and moving to the next as fast as they can.i went there with a problem and left with a bigger problem smh...tried talking to my Dr abt prescribing me different meds because the current one I was using wasn't helpful,and all he could tell me is if those arnt working I need to go to the hospital..Super unprofessional and waist of money..spent over a thousand dollars in 2 weeks there for no solution to my problem...if there was a button that I could add a negative star that would be it ,because they don't even deserve one star!
As it turns out as severe bursitis of the shoulder which was properly diagnosed and successfully treated. The whole process went very smoothly. I certainly would recommend this facility. Have the tools on site to make the diagnosis and a vast wealth of experience.
Called multiple times to get an appointment and did not get a straight answer. Was told I have to pay cash up front. doc left my room and next thing I have someone asking for my credit card again to charge me for injections before I get it these people don t care about you they are just taking money left and right and told me I can t go through my insurance because it is only cash service? not sure what s going on but I don t trust this office if he s even certified.
Dr Provo recommended that I get a boot device. I specifically asked if it was covered under Medicare and was assured that it was. ONE YEAR LATER, within weeks of the one year time limit, out of the blue, I received an invoice for the device. Even though Dr Provos's office successfully billed for their own services, they deliberately, and negligently never bothered to bill Medicare and my secondary insurance correctly.
I injured my shoulder. Pain was unbearable. The entire staff is professional, patient, understanding. After four weeks of treatment I am 100% healed. Very grateful, special shout out to Fabi & Luisa. These ladies set the tone for the whole practice they are the 1st people to interact with the patient. My experience with them was FLAWLESS!
From scheduling appointments, to answering questions, to handling billing and an endless amount of paperwork from my insurance companies and employer. They kept me informed and did it with a smile.
Everyone whom I had contact with made me feel better and though I hope I never need to go back, if anyone I know needs an orthopedist this is where they need to go.
