This place is amazing. The views from the top of the rocks are incredible. You can see the Empire state building, statue of liberty along with 360degree views of NYC. Can buy tickets online one day in advance looking at the weather. I have also visited the Empire state building and will definitely recommend this one for the views !

I ve been here a million times during the summer, fall, winter and spring and every time it s pretty and packed with tourists. Rockefeller Plaza never gets old. During the winter the ice skating rink opens and it s so much fun ice skating here. And in summer months you can have a nice meal in middle of the plaza. The best time to visit is during Christmas to see the beautiful Christmas tree.

It s a must visit place in New York City. All sides of Rockefeller center is a tourist attraction spot. Just towards the fifth avenue is sacks fifth avenue where you can watch light show over the building with the beautiful lights through December. It ll begin from second week of November till first week of January. You can use restroom at the basement of Rockefeller building.

It would be a dream come true to work here! Got to see Saturday Night Live which was a dream come true. The building is black and gold and I am obsessed with those colors. staff is very professional and the place is very clean. In the basement there are different shops and food places to eat.

Views were spectacular! Place is awesome! Very much a hassle to get up to the top. Have to wait for your turn then have to go through another line then you have to go through a picture spot then through the history of the Rockefeller center before even getting on elevator to go up.

My office is across the street from Rock Center, and I consider myself lucky to have to walk through it as I leave the subway. This place is an architectural and historic gem, with nooks and crannies and hallways and arches and murals and staircases that make you stop and pay attention. Read a little about the history of the building before you walk in- it will make your visit so much better. You can shop there, eat there, ice skate there, hang out there- it s one of the great, classic sites in NYC. Not to be missed.

I visited when the ice skating rink was first open in mid October and it was simply stunning at night. Everything I pictured in my head that it would be. The crowds were minimal so I was able to walk around easily, enjoy my hot coffee from the food truck, and take tons of pictures. Visiting during the day will obviously involve more crowds and more navigating but overall this was an amazing experience that you shouldn t miss in the City!

Great view from the observation deck. Killed some time in the Rockefeller Cafe before going up. Beers were $8 and menu was pretty pricey but a nice place. It probably took 20 minutes to get to the top from the time we lined up at the bottom. Overall we were glad we went to the top of the rock.

The rink was a lot smaller than I thought it was. The toy store, Lego store , Starbucks ,Nintendo ,nba store are all here or nearby. I'm glad I took time out of my day to visit this place. I did not go ice skating although I could have. The price is a bit much I thought. The decorations during Christmas time are excellent and so is the experience. It's easy walking distance from time square.

Everything you've always imagined it would be! And more!!! From the iconic sculpture overlooking the crystal clear ice rink; to the massive skyscraper looming overhead, there's a lot to do and see! While here, go inside and find your way over to NBC Studios Store where you can not only purchase some really cool "swag", but, you can take a tour of the NBC Studios! I'm not going to give away all the secrets of the tour, but, I will say this! IT SHOULD BE AT THE TOP OF YOUR ITINERARY WHILE IN NYC!!!! Best spent $30 the entire time we were visiting!!!

I visited this center many times in the past mostly during the holiday season. It is a national historical landmark in the heart of New York City and it is a big tourist attraction. You can read much about it on the center's website and many New York City visitors online information outlets. My experience has always been positive when visiting the center. It is safe to visit even so it is one of the most crowded tourist areas in the city due to the abundant presence of security and police department personnel. Also, the fluidity of moving the many visitors through congested sections has been improving over the years. One issue I noted during the 2018 holiday season is that they licensed food trucks to be present in the middle of the alleyway over looking the skating rink. That created more congestion on my opinion and block the views of some nice decorations. Otherwise, it always a delight for me to be there and visit many of the outlets you can see on the center website.

We visited around NYE time and it was great. Lots of people, beautifully decorated and such a great place all around. The place is very clean despite the millions of visitors it gets. There are clean bathrooms accessible inside the building and the skating rink was great despite the long lines and steep prices. A great place to visit.

There are so many beautiful photos of the Empire State Building taken from Top of the Rock but even they don't do justice to the real, breathtaking view. The top floor is outside and doesn't have any glass, so it's perfect for photos. Just remember to look up from your camera for a while!

Rockefeller center is a nice place some what smaller than what I pictured. Very beautiful but also very crowded. I can't imagine living in a area so congested. The New Yorkers were very friendly and helpful. There was security every where. God bless the men and women of the NYPD for the jobs they do. I think it is a nice place to visit, especially this time of year.

The Rockefeller ice rink was amazing. I do have to say it would've been probably more difficult and colder if we hadn't gotten VIP tickets... they get you on the ice pretty quick and you can shop or sit down stairs in the basement. One *BIG TIP* if you are planning on skating for more than an hour, or even on skating for that matter, wear thick socks, the skates are not forgiving!!! Really, the skates tore up my feet because I was wearing thin socks. It will save your trip if you plan to do this at the begining!! Have fun!

One of the must-see places in New York City. The Christmas tree of course. I would strongly recommend stopping by the Lego store to see there beautiful Lego creations. The FAO Schwartz store has all the latest toys and gadgets, often with people demonstrating them. NBC Studios are there. Other high end stores. The alley leading down to the ice skating rink from 5th Avenue has beautiful landscaping and sculptures. Check out the nearby Christie's Auction House. They often display the items that are soon to be auctioned off. These are often beautiful artwork, jewelry, furniture Etc. It is free 2 come in and peruse. THIS IS WHERE ONE OF THE LAST PRIVATELY OWNED DAVINCI'S WAS AUCTIONED OFF FOR ABOUT 470 MILLION DOLLARS

Was in New York for just a few hours so went to Rockefeller Center to do touristy things. Wish I had more time but the time I spent there was well worth it. Top of the Rock tours were full but we're managed to get in an NBC studios tour which was super cool as it reminded of my years working in broadcast news . Highly recommend the tour. Can't wait to go back someday when I can really explore the city but this was great for a small bite out of the big apple!

Pretty place to be. The exposition of the Christmas tree and the decorations is amazing. For me is not worth the waiting time the ice rink unless is something in your bucket list. Instead of waiting in line for hours I would spend the time and money doing some other things around, but definitely a very unforgettable place to be.

Can be a bit busy during the holidays... or really at any time, but Rockefeller Center is one of the must-see stops if you're visiting Manhattan for the first time. From the Art-Deco architecture to ice-skating in the winter to panoramic views from Top of the Rock, this is one of the primary tourist destinations in NYC.

A gem of a place to visit, there is a couple of restaurants to choose from, a gift shop and of course the top floor view overlooking central park and Manhattan, tickets are somewhat pricey but if you take advantage of all the things to do and see it is well worth the price.

Beautiful this time of year but I was NOT ready for the overly aggressive people who had problems with kids coming to New York City!!! It wasn't my kids who were questioned but last I checked kids love Christmas tree's & lights just as much as adults if not 100x's more!!

One of the most happening Christmas attraction in New York. It is always crowded and packed with people during the holidays. It is famous for the Decorated Christmas Tree just outside Rockefeller Center. There is a Skating Rink down there and beautiful lights and decorations around the place. A go to place in New York during festive season and enjoy the lights.

I'm not from New York so I visited a lot of the regular touristy traps. Rockefeller Center was on my list of places to visit. I Loved it! The building is awesome to just hang around outside and people watch but it's going to the top that you're there for. It's $45 to take an elevator ride to the top, which is worth it to go at least once. I went at night and wow! What a view! It's gorgeous from up there at night. It looks both alive with action and peaceful at the same time. When you're up there you're going to take a lot of pics and you should.

Five star New York landmark whether you are visiting near Christmas, in the winter or anytime of year. Be prepared, if you want to go skating, make a reservation, if you want to take a picture next to the tree, you will wait. However, despite living in NYC, we try visit during the holidays.
