Our stay has been great thus far! (Staying 3 nights) The staff has been amazing and super friendly. The pool of course is a great accommodation but I would have thought they would include complimentary breakfast? Wishing this was an added accommodation because the food is a bit pricey, but that is just like any other hotel! The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. The pillows could use a bit more "fluff".

Update: The stay was great. The food (ate 3 times) wasn't too great so I would opt to going somewhere else. The bartender (was told in the back?) didn't know how to make very common drinks so I would go to the bar top area to order a drink! Overall, nice stay!

The main complaint I have about the hotel is the parking. I get that it's directly across from the mall, so they must regulate it somehow. Nevertheless, I was attending an evening event and had to find street parking since I hadn't brought a full wallet and hadn't anticipated having to pay for parking in that part of town.

I'll skip events here in the future.

Too expensive for a glorified motel 6. Poor layout of property. Workers don't know where anything is.

Wi-Fi sucks, cable is alright, no cookie on check in :(. On the bright side rooms are clean, decent beds, and Well sized shower.

Nearby to eating olaces and shopping. Older hotel though nicely maintained. Good for meetihgs and events

We had ants all over our bathroom and had to change rooms. Staff we very pleasant and helpful.

Easy access to hotel, nice big ball room, the sports resturant/bar was not open at noon on a Wednesday? Not sure what that was about.

I attended the North West Leather Celebration there for 4 days and the staff was friendly and clearly nonjudgemental towards the Leather Community. The Celebration went wonderful and the place was spacious and upper teir. Thank you Double Tree Hilton for a wonderful time..

It's a nice hotel. Plus there are free cookies whenever you want them.

Room accommodations were great. Charging $150 to use your projector screen for 24 hours was kind of stupid, but then you charged over $100 for a gallon of coffee for our students. That should be illegal. I could go literally anywhere else and pay one tenth of that cost. 1000% mark up is insulting and a slap in the face. TLDR: as a guest I a room, the double tree is great. But hosting anything there whatsoever, expect to get bent over on every little thing. Also the sandwich I got at the restaurant was dry and stale. Waiter was cool though

Rooms nice and clean, but small and the warm cookie promised was cold.

I attended a career fair at the Double Tree - the entire place was spotless, staff were friendly and I enjoyed my visit.

Very disappointed. Price is too high for room. Room is dated.Both the shower curtain and bed skirt were loaded with wrinkles. There is no bedspread. Only one set of towels were provided. Had to ask for more for morning shower. Hotel is clean and had a nice breakfast at their restaurant. Location is very good. Would not go there again predicated on price and lack of updated room.

We had a very pleasant stay. Super friendly staff, a warm cookie at both check in and check out and a comfy bed. We ordered room service twice and the order was missing something both times and the soup was only luke warm. But over all it was a great night's stay. We'd come here again.

Fantastic location across from the mall. Really nice hotel grounds. Small, but nice gym with a great view on the tredmill! Definitely snag a map from the front desk as the wings can get confusing.

The ballroom downstairs is roomy and doesn't feel like it's below ground with all the space from the floor to the ceiling. The lobby is nice with all the lighting and open space to walk around in as well.

Had a great time! Love the place and their accommodations for the event I was at. The hall was a generous size and the staff were very friendly.

Super accommodating. They charge for everything but if you are Hilton Honors member it has its perks

Attended a wedding reception in the grand ballroom. The hotel was very nice, clean and accommodating.

I am absolutely in love with this place. I really loved the room and the hot water tub. Honestly, the hot water tub was the best part of my stay. The place is very well maintained and is very clean. The staff gives their best to make you feel like home.

Hotel was mostly OK. Restaurant took my used dipping sauce and served it to another patron. Horrible. Never return

This place is awful. The whole hotel smells musty, damp and oddly of some type of old pasta. There are noticeable cob webs, dust and overall lack of cleaning throughout the hotel. my room had to bugs in the tub when i arrived and the AC didnt work. and guess what, when you call maintenance, they never show up surprise surprise. Sheets were about as soft as sandpaper and you could hear every word in the hotel hallway. from the outside alone, i have seen many motel 6s that look better than this. there is obvious wood decay on the balconies. this place needs a total gut job. unfortunately, similarly to the rest of the area, there are homeless people surrounding the hotel and it is extremely loud being right off the highway. it is not walk-able to anything in the area due to the condition so please, for your safety rent a car.

Our room was good, however I have to say that it was in need of serious housekeeping maintenance: 1) the bathroom door was covered with white spots of what appeared to be dried soap bubbles? 2) the air return was filthy.....nearly totally blocked by matted hair and lint and it was above the dressing table and coffee area by the closet.
On the plus side of things: 1) the beds were super comfortable. 2) the tv and the Internet both worked well. 3) the fitness room was nice and had great cold water and the pool looked good but i didn't have time to swim. 4) the cafe cheerfully worked with my diet restrictions and everyone loved their meals.....and our server, Bernie, was awesome! And the cookies were great!

I just spent time in the bar, it was nice. We had reasonable service, good appetizers. It was a nice atmosphere & the price for drinks were affordable.

Lovely hotel, lots of space for events. Restaurant and bar located on premise, as well as a small coffee stand. Gift shop and Wi-Fi available. Located close to the mall, definitely a nice location!

Great outdoor pool,whirlpool hot tub...the room was fine with the exception of the smudged mirrors and the balcony glass on the doors were smudged and dirty...It took away from the total experience that I had grown use to with Hilton brands.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This hotel is runned down and DOES NOT FOLLOW COVID19 PROTOCOLS - no sticker for sanitize inspection, ceilings have water damage, bathroom shower is disgusting, windows have hard water mark, furniture is old and broken, and lastly staff is poor with customer service and will give false information.

Management needs to improve and reevaluate the outlook of this hotel.

The room is really not ready at 7pm!?!?!?! Oh, but heres a dinner voucher while you wait. SMH! TV channels don't work either.

Avoid at all costs!!

This hotel has a 3.5 star rating. It's somewhat older but the decor is decent. This biggest problem is what we thought were fleas in our room and turns out to bedbugs. It's been 2 days and we are still breaking out in their bites. I read the main difference between fleas and bedbugs is that bedbug bites can take up to a week to come out.
AAAGH HORRIBLE! We are not staying here ever again. 3 day later update: emailed 3 places including this location and headquarters with no return answer. Called and you either need to know the extension or got a voicemail.

Exactly what you'd expect for a double tree. The hotel is huge and is easy to get lost in but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Place has seen better days. Buildings are spread out. Must pay for parking. Once you walk into your room, the smell of mold makes you regret your stay. The wallpaper is peeling off and the edge of the bathroom walls are dirty. Never been to a worse Hilton property in my diamond life. The staff is friendly tho.

Very worn out and old hotel. The staff is great but the hotel needs to be renovated.

A huge hotel in desperate need of a remodeling. This hotel did not meet my vision of the double tree brand.

Family reunion 2018. Hotel was nice, if l come back again hopefully l will be closer to the lobby.

Room was nice, but dated. The king bed was comfy. Did not have a mini fridge to put any food in. Location near shops is a plus.

Went to a boxing match there and had a great time. I got there early and spent time at the bar and ate. There were other events going on, but while I was there the staff were friendly and polite. Its located near the Arden fair mall and other shopping outlets. (IF YOUR NOT A GUESS YOU WILL BE PARKING YOUR CAR ON THE STREET 2HR PARKING 6am to 6pm)

Food and service are great but housekeeping needs to do a better job
No hairdryer and had to wait over 30 minutes to get one and only 3 towels in the family room that sleeps 6. Stay here a lot this is not the norm. But this trip was disappointing

Went to a murder mystery dinner theatre here and it was amazing. The food was great

Comfy beds. Nice bar area that was a great place to watch the Warriors game. The cookies are the best!

Very dissatisfied. As a Hilton Honors Member I always try to get a Hilton Hotel. This was the worst by far. I requested some amenities per my App prior to check in, we did not receive these. We had a door to a joining room and there was a hole where the door knob was supposed to be so they could see right into our room if the opened the door. I checked into a room on my Hilton Honor App and it said our room was available, when we got to the front desk it was not and they offered us a room on the 2nd floor far away from the pool :(... or to wait. There was no room service menu in our room, we had to call twice to request one. The front desk woman was not friendly when I took her the folder with no room service menu in it. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!!! Lot of people staying on fathers day weekend lots of noise and stomping get the higher floor if you can.

Where do I begin? The staff was phenomenal at every point of guest experience. Restaurant was great. Ahi tuna salad is perfectly prepared.

I generally judge hotel restaurants by the quality of their club sandwiches - three pieces of toast, crisped and buttered just right, fresh mayo and a clean slice through a thick stack of ingredients. There's was great, I'll be back for another!

I was at the DoubleTree attending a conference for my Fraternity and the facility was excellent. Great for events

Although the front desk staff are all very nice, I think there are some serious managerial/organizational issues at this hotel. We booked just a few hours before our arrival, but the hotel just couldn't seem to keep track of anything. It's about 15 minutes away from the airport, which is not that close considering it's an airport hotel. The airport shuttle was also pretty unreliable. It's a huge hotel, and besides for the cookie and nice staff, nothing really exceptional about it.

Location was easy to find, ample parking space, comfortable rooms. Free cookies and water at request. Great stay.

People are very kind and nice. I stayed Eldorado Bd. Eldorado building was quite far from the lobby but has a microwave and refrigerator in the room. I wanna stay a little more close building to the lobby next time. Shoppingmall near hotel and Wal-Mart 10minutes by Uber.(USD10.00)

+ Right across a nice mall. Not a local, so can't really tell how good/bad the mall is.
- Self-parking is 6$ a day. It is not like the hotel is in downtown Chicago.
- "High-speed" internet is 9.95$ a day. It is 2011, not 1998 where internet was a luxury, not a basic amenity.
- Shower had almost no pressure.
- Turned on the water, and it sounded like a motor was running in the room.
- The AC made a nice humming sound. Would have been nice if there was cold air coming out as well.
- No breakfast is one thing... but to serve the same crap at a premium is bizarre.
- Could hear the neighbor.
