Room was alright food mediocre pay parking was undisclosed upfront and pretty lame
Very big hotel. Long walks. Good rooms. Staff kind of know what they are doing
I was there for a conference. Everything was good except the wifi. Maybe not the most important issue but it was frustrating as it was a professional event.
The hotel us a beautiful one spacious and had a good atmosphere.
Decent rooms but your free newspaper is in the lobby...parking sucks as you have to pay $10/night if you dont park along street. Overheard someome complain about no valet parking which figured they would have.
Across from a small and nice coffee shop in lobby. Not much else to say about it though, just ok
The DoubleTree hotel is nice but old. The rooms are spacious and everyone has a balcony. The fitness center is nice as is the mall across the street.
Room was nice. Appreciated the size of the gym for sure!
Breakfast to expensive for what you get, room service sub par $30 for a cold hamburger and fries..
Rooms ok....Bar excellent...their Holidays meal are great
Very good hotel. Great night's stay, room was very well decorated and I liked the overall fit and finish of everything.
Bad and smiley enterance for the hotel bad and smiley room bad reception, over charged because I used Expedia for booking they charge me $75 as a deposite they charge for the parking and all Sacramento hotels they are free
No express checkout , I have complained to the reception about the room smell and the bad service and she told me this not Helton she answered with bad attitude and anger the wendow dof the room was dirty and the drapes filthy what a ad experiance I have used motel 6 and was much butter
This hotel is absolutely terrible. Upon my arrival things seemed somewhat off when I saw a sign at the parking lot enterance stating, a police bait car may be in use .
Once in my room, things got much worse. The rooms were severely outdated and smelled of bleach.
I quickly realized, that I did not want to put any of my belongings on the surfaces in the room. Therefore I kept all my things packed. As I m getting into the bed I notice that there is no fitted sheet, only an unfitted sheet pulled up to the very top and tucked at the corners.
The next day I didn t spend much time in the room.
Later that night after hanging out in the room for a few hours. I walked in the bathroom and see a semi brown bug crawling on the wall.
I have not had much experience with cockroaches in the past and wasn t quite sure what they looked like, so I googled cockroach quickly after I took care of the guest in the bathroom.
I soon called the front desk to let know about the incident I had recently encountered. The woman on the end of the line was somewhat concerned, but didn t offer a real solution. Instead she mentioned that another room, in the same hotel, would be ready for me the next day. I then informed her that I would be checking out the next morning.
I also reached out to the number listed on the website.
I exclusively stay at Hilton properties when I travel. Until this incident, I ve never had a less than pleasant experience with the company. Overall, the goal of this post is to inform people on a public platform.
Pretty nice hotel, has everything you need in it for a big conference or convention. They keep the front pretty nice for the most part, but I would say that they don't seem to do the best job keeping all of the carpets vacuumed. There are definitely in need of a remodel soon. The rooms are pretty good, but as I said the place is a little old, and needs a facelift. They get on issues quickly and resolve them quickly.
A sprawling hotel with nicely maintained amenities and a good restaurant.
We stayed at the Doubletree this weekend and because we were tired we decided to eat at Twigs. I was impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. It was a pleasant surprise to find steamed vegetables as a side. They were fresh, perfectly steamed, and best of all: not salted.
The portions were larger than I expected and the side salad for the turkey burger was very generous. The warm bread that was served was excellent. If you stay here you don't have to leave to get a good nourishing meal.
The event was very nice, but some of the hotel staff was not very friendly or courteous. I understand that there was a lot of people to serve within a certain amount of time, but it doesn't excuse the attitude of some of the servers. Otherwise, it was great.
Always love staying at DoubleTree... the staff are so friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Facilities were well maintained. Audio visual worked well. One of the conference rooms was extremely cold but otherwise nice.
Just went to a conference held at this hotel, and the parking was a nightmare when trying to leave. Kiosk in the lobby was not working properly so it held up everyone trying to self-pay. Parking lot was a gridlock trying to leave since pay station wasn't working properly. Hotel staff were very slow to respond. Took an hour to get out!! Absolutely terrible.
I was there for a symposium. It was neat clean and spacious. The food service for the meetings was first rate. We even had delicious craft draft root beer. All of the staff members were polite and helpful.
Attended a project manager's meeting. Room was clean and well organized. Service folks were amazing and very good at making sure they listened to attendees' needs. This included providing gluten free and vegetarian options. Parking was easy and staff guided us to the room of the meeting promptly. Great experience.
The rooms here are very nice, large, and clean. . Staff is very friendly
Facilities were clean, but the room looked outdated.
Rooms are clean and the staff is extremely courteous. The breakfast served in the restaurant is also better than I expected. Is has been a wonderful stay and I will be back the next time I am in the area.
The only complaint I may have is that the rooms are getting a little outdated. However, cleanliness ranks higher in my mind than a couple touch ups on the wall from pictures that are no longer there.
The staff is accommodating, the food is reasonable quality and price. Rooms are clean. Layout is challenging but we found shortcuts by going outside. Plenty of parking. Meeting spaces average. Free WiFi for guests was adequate. Nice cookies.
Service was great, hotel itself was old and the housekeeping could definitely use some training...especially for the Presidential Suite.
Good deal. Friendly service. Little dated but worth the very reasonable rate.
Not a lot of parking, and smaller spaces. The hotel was ok for the price, but my sister paid the same price and got a kitchen. Decor dated, but clean. Convenient location, and easy on/off the freeway. My husband did not a homeless camp right around the corner. They breakfast was good, and they kept all items stocked.
I chose this hotel because it's near my jobs training site. The staff in the lobby was friendly. I was extremely shocked to see that the my room consisted of old furniture as well as the curtains. I had a difficult time closing the curtains. The carpet is old and worn. I usually like to store water and yogurt in the refrigerator through out my stay. Well there isn't a refrigerator or a microwave. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Rooms are nice, need a fridge and microwave, to nice of a hotel not to have that. Bathroom looks old, shower water pressure is weak. No Continental breakfast available!
Rooms were very nice for the price. Bar closed around 11ish though on Saturday night.
House keeping did not vacuum the room the entire week; ran out of shampoo and toilet paper.
Great service, excellent staff, super accommodating!
We had a baby shower there on Saturday. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious.
Clean and comfortable great working girl environment!
Good location and price. Rooms and buildings are very dated
I have been comming to this hotel for 3 years now either business or for our fraternity. The staff is very helpful. Paitent and just plain amazing. They spoil our fraternal order and help us achive our goals when ever we are present.
I did comedy in the grand ballroom. It was weird and fun. Good building.
Nice hotel but bring your hiking shoes to get to your room.
Attended a professional training event at one of the event rooms
Many of the rooms are old and smelly. Old carpet old furniture. The lobby area is the cleanest.
Me and my wife book a hotel here and I specifically mention that we like to stay in the room with King bed, when we arrived they say they don't have room with king bed only with 2 queens. They apologize for inconvenience and promised to assigned us to move to different room next day........ We waited till 3 pm on next day and still didn't get what they promised to do.
I would newer stay in this hotel ever again, unless you want to sleep on different bed - not with your wife .....
There is a lot more i can say towels looks to old worn and silver not white. Room was not vacuumed for at-least few days if not weeks, counters was dusty.
I would give this hotel not more that 2 stars.
The meeting places (the salons) are far from the rooms.
Large room, quiet, comfortable need, nice linens and toiletries. Look was pretty child and hot tub pretty lukewarm. Gym had nice equipment but was too small for a complex if this size. No word to use to write down the gym equipment. Decent restaurants just down the block.
Nice facilities and great service customer focused.
Very clean and professional demeanor from staff. I hace worked at 2 hiltons double tree is the nicest one ive seen so far. I came in for a interview and really hope i can be apart if the team
