Nice hotel, a bit dated and surprised there wasn t a fridge and microwave in the room. I haven t stayed in a hotel in years that did have at least those two items. Staff was helpful and remedied the situation quickly when my internet didn t work.

Large, comfortable, full service suburban hotel. (Santa Claus had just arrived, in a Fire Engine, for an afternoon event.) Rooms are modern and spacious and simply appointed. Front desk service was excellent and efficient. From previous experience at this location, breakfast is tasty from a good selection and with good service.

No fridge in any room. We requested a room with a fridge so they bring a mini fridge. Wow that looks like the biggest hunk of junk. Dents everywhere and missing a leg so it wobbles. What kind of big chain hotel does not offer a fridge in your room. Last time we stay here!

Staff is great though! I do want to say that. Just a really bad decision to save money. It wouldn t be so bad but we have kids and they don t always eat all their food. Have to throw it away if you stay at the Double Tree!

Chicago: About 10 minutes by car from O'Hare International Airport and access to the airport is excellent. The room is very large because it is a hotel on the outskirts of America. It is a member of Hilton and offers benefits for Hilton members. Breakfast is served with rice, miso soup, pickles, and nori, but this is not available.

Great hotel! This hotel is a little dated but don't let that deter you because the polite, helpful and friendly staff makes up for this fact. The hotel is clean... just could use a freshen up. The desk managers greet you by name and make you feel very welcomed. The night manager was very patient and helpful as he over the phone walked me through the airport and helped me find the shuttle bus area. The bus picked me up in about 25 mins just as the desk manager told me they would. I was there for a conference and the meals served to us we're Hot and healthy and the staff was attentive bringing us anything we wanted.

I filled out the email survey and received a very nice email response from the Manager. They definitely spent money on staff training here and the staff paid attention and applies what they learned.

The hotel was beautiful, staff very friendly. Only problem, was the people in the room above ours. First woke at 1:30am by partying, laughter and banging, and after security visited them twice, they finally quieted. Second, woke again at 3:45am when they apparently flooded their bathroom so badly that it was pouring from my ceiling. Kinda ruined my anniversary weekend.

I stayed in Presidential Suite and it was big but needs some work. Chair has broken handles, cough is squeaky and uncomfortable. All the furniture is old and it shows. There are stains all over floor and furniture. The bed sheets clearly were filthy and smelled used. I let front desk know and he didnt even offer to give me clean sheets. Just said sorry. The rest of staff were very nice and room service especially helpful people. Food is mediocre. I will not EVER be back.

Must stay here!!! We had accommodations here after our wedding. Bobbie W., our sales manager, made everything perfect for us. We held 10 rooms for friends/family and we were all in close proximity as we requested, including our conjoining rooms. Conjoining rooms were great for the teenagers/ young adults. We felt like we had the whole floor to ourselves, the privacy was fantastic! The honeymoon suite was fabulous and the champagne delivered to our room was divine. Whole family watched the Cubbie game at night in our room. Check in was flawless as all the room keys were labeled for each family and pooltime was a blast. The breakfast buffet the following morning was excellent! Would stay here again in a heart beat.

In the time of COVID stating at a hotel, especially when cases are rising, can really feel daunting or not very safe. They offer double cleaning if requested for extra safety. They clean and wipe down each room and your breakfast is served to your room. They have it down to a science. Great service and amazing hospitality. I highly recommend.

We through an event at this hotel and it was perfect. All of our attendees were thrilled with this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. The shuttle was fantastic. Every employee was more that helpful and they always had a smile on their face. Busse woods is just around the corner and there is plenty of food options around as well. 5 stars all the way and we'll be back!

Not one for writing reviews but I had to give this hotel a positive 5 star review after staying the night September 8. My wife and I decided to use a gift certificate I had received from work for a standard room with a complimentary breakfast. I myself work in the industry leaving me with a good sense of judgement about the way things should be in a good hotel , and I can say we were highly impressed by our experience. The staff was excellent with their service, as was the condition of the room and property. I'm sure the room was upgraded because it seemed anything but standard. Considering the fact that we were given a suite with a balcony and whirlpool tub which are not normally standard features. It was the first night we had out together since before we got married and had our daughter and we could not have had a better time. Take it from someone in the hotel and accommodations industry, I would highly recommend this hotel to any one. Thank you Double Tree Arlington Heights for a great stay.

My wife and I had the honeymoon/presidential suite for our wedding, her by herself the night before, and the both of us together the following night (night of our wedding). Brown flakes came out of the hot tub on my wife on her solo night which I think anyone would be slightly horrified by, let alone the night before your wedding! There was cobwebs in the bathroom. When it came to our night together the room had not been cleaned and we discovered someone else's socks under our bed :S. My niece hurt herself on a chair in the bar area that had an exposed nail. The outside area was not good for pictures like it suggested it was, so we decided to scrap that plan. On complaining the manager was very sorry and comped one night, which we were happy with. However, as time goes by I am angrier and angrier that all this happened. I would not recommend staying here prior to any big event.

The hotel was very nice. It was easily accessible despite a very long trip. The hotel looked modern and nice. The front desk person checked me in without problem or difficult and also gave me a prewar med cookie, which was awesome. I checked in about seven hours later, and I had been in contact with staff about my arrival time. They were so easy to work with and helpful. The hallways were a little long but that might be because I was really tired. The room was clean and very very nice. The bed was clean and super comfy. I don't understand, but the bathroom didn't have a very efficient vent fan, but that's the worst I can say. Check was a breeze. Four star for poorly performing vent fan and peeling wall paper in the halls. Otherwise, would recommend without reservation.

The hotel facilities are the same as other Doubletree hotels, and the proximity to downtown is falling, because Chicago is far away. Still, there is shuttle system, and neighborhood mart and restaurant can go to the library. There are many other hotels and motels around.

We stayed here last night because our house lost the electricity. And although the staff was very nice, I could not believe they charged us $210.00 per room for one night. It was a VERY basic room, would even say it was on the small side. The walls are also very thin and I could hear noises all night long. The heat was also not working well in both rooms. This would have been perfectly fine for a descent price, but when paying $210, I expected a little more. Is this the average they charge? The front desk said this was normal but I just don t believe it.

Front desk staff for check in were very friendly. However, we stayed for 2 nights for a wedding and never received any room service. The noise from the expressway is also pretty loud.

The service was warm and quick as we were welcomed by Michael at the front desk with some house-made chocolate chip cookies at check-in. The process took under 5 minutes. He even called us after we got into our room just to be sure we were satisfied with the room. The bed was cozy and pretty comfortable. The room was alright as it was on the first floor. The wifi and parking were all free. However, we noticed and wondered how the carpet did not live up with the quality of Hilton. There were many stains and dirty-looking spots on the carpet that can be visually noticed with naked eyes. And the answer arrived pretty quickly. When we were in our room completely, there was a group of people trying to enter the room. They stood there in about 3 or 4 minutes. They even had the door key to open and nearly opened the door. We were pretty anxious and scared since they would have been able to enter the room if we had not locked the door with the door security guard. We called the reception right after they left and found out that was probably the sales team trying to show the room to their potential guests. However, not only that, the next morning, the door was knocked twice, about half to full hour between each. I did not know who had knocked on the door, but we were very dissatisfied with the disturbances.

The suites are beautiful, unfortunately didnt get much sleep due to guests above us that were drunk and very loud all night and to top it up they flooded their bathroom at 4am so we had water dripping down from our ceiling. Nobody showed up yet to clean it out and its 12 pm

On a previous visit we had a suite and it was awesome. The power went out after a lightning strike but the staff worked hard to make sure everything went smoothly for us. We even had free coupons for the breakfast buffet.

We had a Hilton Honors room this time. It was spacious but NO FRIDGE and no microwave?? How is that possible? They did bring us a mini fridge on request, but that is the first time I've come across a room that didn't have one. Even a roach trap one-star Bates Motel would have a fridge and microwave in the room.

Good: Very good housekeeping staff, and a courteous and professional staff overall.

Bad: There was a broken rung on the pool ladder that was never fixed. There was paint peeling from the wall behind the curtains in our room. The vending machine was out of order the entire time we were there.

Worst: We arranged a late check-out with the front desk due to a conference in the hotel. While I was trying to get dressed a woman tapped at the door, then unlocked it and started coming in before I could answer. She demanded to know when I was checking out even though a time had already been arranged. I had a privacy sign on the door, and there was still plenty of time left. Very rude.

Nice place to stay. Nice environment and cool staff. Interiors were awesome. 5 star for friendly staff,5 star for cleanliness,5 star for environment, mostly every place I go I found like a different odor of smell like more perfume in the room. Here I didn't find like that . Only one concern is no microwave in the room. I recommend this place .

Great
