Housekeeping destroyed a brand new charging cable. Management gave me the run-around. Pretty good hotel otherwise but this event soured my experience and I won't be returning.

Great room. Lots of space. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. The pool is nice.

Fantastic service! The front desk manager was very knowledgeable and helpful, greeted with cookies and water. The room was super clean and housekeeping had taken extra precautions because of Covid, it felt very safe. Ordered carry out from the Birch River Restaurant inside the hotel, and the food was delicious. 10/10 would stay here again and would recommend.

Staff is friendly, room was clean. Bummed there was no fridge but not a major problem. Some restaurants close by. Decent location!

Michael was not very welcoming upon check in. I was in the middle of conversation with him when a group of Chinese women/flight attendants wearing face mask. Michael begin catering to these foreigners just leaving me standing there. When I tried speaking to him he totally ignored my questions. After checking into my room I received a phone call asking if everything was okay. I walked down to the bar/restaurant located downstairs. The guy behind the bar was not very welcoming or friendly towards me. I would smile and try to engage in conversation with him. He was very short in his answer to my question. I was really disappointed being that I am Hilton Honor member. I could have choose several other hotels in the area but choose this one due to my relationship in the past with Hilton.

Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Warm cookies on check in were good and a bottle of water.

I am attending a conference only. The building is nice, but it is difficult to get on the WiFi if you aren't staying in a room - even as an HHonors member.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Rooms are a bit dated, but not a big deal. Weekend rates are good.

Nice hotel. Overnight guest. No problems with check in or check out. Dog friendly is always a plus.

This hotel is a very nice hotel and I see that they have renovated their rooms since my last day 2 years ago however I'm disappointed and the policy on breakfast tickets or how breakfast is included and their rates for the hotel I like breakfast. I would prefer to get breakfast tickets and not have to pay the out-of-pocket expense of $16.

Was told to get on the double tree shuttle. Took me to the wrong hotel. Called them and they refused to shuttle me from the other double tree. Don t trust this hotel. They don t have airport shuttles.

They post the statutory "no weapons" signs. I won't be returning, as I don't patronize anyplace that chooses to do so. I feel unsafe staying there without a way to defend myself.

Coffee pot and glasses in room would have been nice. Staff was great

Nothing special. Decent amenities but I kind of expected more. This shouldn't be more than a 80-90 dollar hotel.

This place is gross. Not what you expect from a DoubleTree. If you want a cheap motel experience, book here. If you're looking for quality, comfort, and cleanliness, look elsewhere.

Everything you'd expect from a Hilton affiliated hotel. Rooms are very clean and spacious and staff is very helpful. Great location with easy access to the highway. I would definitely stay at this location again.

The great customer service all started with Dewayne at 2am needed a room to stay in because my car broke down. Not only did he find me a wonderful room at a reasonable rate. Upon checking out I had the pleasure of meeting the GM Chuck who was helpful and added to my seamless check out. Thank you guys for your professionalism. Ohhhh and let's not forget about the COOKIES hot and fresh

Extremely nice and helpful sales staff. Rooms are nice, hallways are a bit dark.

Service was great and food was fine.
Reception was not kind to direct to right place.

Wifi is very very slow. The door to the neighbor room is terrible... I can hear every word exactly from that room. Very terrible experience. Will never stay jere again.

I worked with Bobbie Borowski in the sales department for booking my wedding block, and morning after breakfast at the hotel. Bobbie was VERY thorough and answered my million questions! She is always kind and helpful. She made the experience easy, and not stressful- which is helpful to any bride and groom! I would recommend working with this hotel and especially Bobbie to any of my friends and family.

I have been to same place for professional events and it was very clean environment.

Stayed in the presidential suite after my wedding. Bonnie was amazing and more than accomodating with myself and all of our out of town guests!!!

The conference room was actually a reasonable temperature and the bathroom was really clean and nice.

Nice place to lay your head. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. Little disappointed they do not have a microwave in the rooms. It is especially frustrating when one is there for any length of time. When one has to warm up coffee, tea, or last nights dinner. As a Hilton Honors I am disappointed. Other than that, it was close to the places I needed to go to for a wedding I was at.

Hotel is nice enough, no microfridges or microwave in rooms, not alot of eating places in walking distance. They do run a shuttle to the local mall which is quite nice. Local Deep dish pizza places will deliver to hotel.

Awesome banquet service. Staff seemed a little in a rush but they were timely and polite!

If you re trying to do something fun for your kiddos during the depressing time of Covid, DO NOT pick this hotel for their pool or you will be swimming in an igloo! The pool might be slightly heated, but the pool room, encased in glass, has ZERO heat. We were not informed of this when making the room reservation, the pool reservation, nor when we went to the frond desk to check in for our pool fun. Once we arrived in the pool area and called the front desk puzzled, we were finally told that the heat in the room was broken. In zero degree temperatures in Chicago at the moment, this is a major problem!

Would not recommend. We stayed here an entire week. No fridge in room. Service was subpar. I was locked out of the room trying to haul luggage downstairs while my husband was at a conference all day (the reason for being in Arlington Heights). Front desk would not issue me a key to the room because my name was not on the reservation. Offered no solution other than to sit in the lobby until he arrived back at the hotel at 4:30pm. This happened at 9am... and my phone was locked in the room. Thankfully, another member of staff let me in the room. As loyal HH Honors members, we will never stay at another Doubletree / Hilton again.

We stayed overnight as part of a surprise stay-cation. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating for our limited interactions. The room was huge, full of comfy furniture, and had great spacing; my wife could be in the bedroom while I was in the living room without hearing each other's noise. And there was a balcony! The room was showing signs of age though; the bathroom had signs of wear and tear, marks on the walls and sides of the tub. The hallway door didn't actually close against the frame (light leakage along the sides).

Thank you again to Bobbie B & Staff for a WONDERFUL stay and service to our wedding hotel block. Bobbie (Sales) was very helpful and kept in communication with us for over a year. We were able to have a great stay with 4 nights in their presidential suite. Everyone in our block said they had a relaxing stay as well.
Also, thank you for the recommendations you had for our family photos in the garden area! These pictures are going to look amazing. I cannot wait to see them all.

My only complaint would be asking housekeeping to not worry about servicing our room, but to please take out our trash, and that did not happen. Otherwise the hotel was great.

This is a very standard 3 star hotel. I stayed with my wife for a wedding, and the hotel was perfectly serviceable if not fancy. I would have loved it if we could set the temperature lower than 65 at night. Overall, good value for the money.

Clean hotel. Nice room. Great service. Needs wired internet access.

Was there for a seminar. The room was spacious, clean and the sound acoustics was excellent. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. The buffet food was delicious, one of the best I ever tasted. Easy access to the airport and highways. Definitely give stars!

Nice hotel great staff the only thing is the ac system works that it s either hear or cold for the entire building so you can t really turn on the ac on a hot day in the winter

Definitely needs some repairs. The exterior doors have a broken security swipe. Over multiple stays, I found the rooms to be inconsistent (amenities vary in similar rooms)

The worst ever. I was checked in but never hot a room. I was told housekeeping has not cleaned my room yet. For hours, I was not informed of the room was ready. I ended up leaving because I was the for a wedding. I never got a room key or actually entered the room. Yet, I was charged for the one night.

Super clean rooms/bathrooms. Fluffy towels and great water pressure. Comfy beds and pillows. Friendly staff and a great price. If you are on a budget, spend the extra few bucks and stay here over nearby "budget" hotels.

We are planning to block rooms for an event. Bobbie was AMAZING at helping us.

This place was awesome! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Front Desk Supervisor Eric was helpful and awesome. Took good care of us. He deserves a raise.

Our room had no ice bucket tray with cups, when I called the front desk to ask for one they brought me a huge ice bucket for cooling champagne and still no cups. When I called back they were snotty about it, said they'd send up cups, and never did.

The bar was nice. I liked the fountain and the pond viewing area.

Stayed here for a week for business. The front desk was very helpful and nice. I took away a star because the room I was staying in had a fridge but no microwave, and on another floor guests told me they had a microwave but no fridge. Would be nice for every room to have both

Service was great, but building is a bit older. Drafty until they came up and put weather stripping in the windows. Breakfast is not included.

I don't know who the heat is controlled by... Our first room only blew out cool air. We called the front desk for maintenance, he came and couldn't fix it, so we had to switch room. But the digital key was to another room. We had to go More

A great place for a conference. The food was outstanding.

Good hotel. We had an issue with the TV, was resolved very quickly.

We stayed in room 426. The facility including the room we were in looked newly updated. We had nachos and a beer at the attached restaurant. The nachos were fairly price but just OK. 5 different beers on tap and a decent selection of spirits. We didn't have room service but is offered. I did have a complaint about two local channels not working in the room, ABC and NBC. I spoke to the front desk and they said that periodically those channels do not work.

Double Tree was amazing. From the room to the customer service, we were impressed the whole way. Not only did they accommodate us, they were also more than happy to welcome our cats as well. After having our apartment flood, we were very stressed out and Eric at the front desk was not only helpful, but recognized our exhaustion and expedited the process and even offered us a couple of cookies, which were quite delicious. All in all. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and would book again without hesitation.
