The service isn t completely terrible. It s like drawing a ticket. My first experience was very good. The shuttle service driver was very nice. The second time around, the driver was absolutely rude. He behaved like he didn t want to work. Also the wait time on the way back was an hour. The last thing you wanna do is wait after you come back from an exhausting journey.

A little older but a nice hotel and it s kept pretty clean. The WiFi seems to take a long time to connect to but does work. The equipment in the workout room was in good working order.
I've been here once before for one night and it was great. I Went there for a four day weekend this time and everything went very smooth. No issues with the room, always nice and clean when I came back. Would recommend it especially for a long stay
A very complete hotel. The bedrooms are very clean. The staff was very friendly and welcomes guests with a welcome cocktail (cheese and wine). The fitness center has a roofed pool and is conveniently located at floor level for hilton honors members. The hotel restaurant is very tasty and the dishes were pleasant surprises. In the morning, use today and the wallstreet journal are available. In case you need one you can walk towards the dennys (24 hours) to satisfy a craving
Shower pressure was awful. Didn t know breakfast wasn t complimentary, until we received the bill. Breakfast for 2 cost $33.38, the breakfast wasn t anything special just normal hotel breakfast. Ridiculous. Never will stay at a Doubletree again.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Bar and food were great, and prices are reasonable. Rooms are really nice, and Clean. Will definitely stay here again
My niece booked this hotel for me since I was unfamiliar with the area what a great find! The room was exceptionally clean with an updated bathroom and fluffy white towels. The bed was awesome so comfortable with down pillows and a beautiful soft comforter. The service was quick with extra needs. Due to the Covid-19 the restaurant hours were cut way back with bkfst being served only until 9am. I didn t have the opportunity to use the pool. It was very convenient to the airport as well. I miss that king size bed already.
Clean rooms, friendly staff. We enjoyed the restaurant. Rooms are somewhat dated but comfortable. No USB charging port in room, Also no microwave or refrigerator
The restaurant must have recently gotten a new chef because the menu seemed very different from the last time I was there a year ago. And for the better. The lamb chops were delish
Very clean hotel, friendly staff, convenient to O'Hare airport and major highways. Downsides are no in room microwave or refrigerator, which are nice to have on any trip.
No gift shop available to be able to purchase essentials. Breakfast was very lackluster. Room was ok. Staff was courteous. but I will probably look for a different place to stay next time.
The hotel itself was very nice. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because two nights in a row there were disruptive people staying on my floor and the hotel did nothing about it. The first night it was a family, yelling at their children, the second it was some kind of bachelorette or wedding party. I could hear them from the hallway at 1am. My friend, staying in another room called the front desk several times. The hotel did comp her room for the night which was appreciated. But either the walls are incredibly thin or the hotel needs to rethink where they are placing parties.
The room is very clean. The hotel feels slightly dated but very well kept. It's comfortable enough though I wish the bedding was more robust, it feels like I'm sleeping with heavy sheets vs a full bedset.
From what I saw it was an overall decent hotel. I was there for a vendor thing, so I didn't see the rooms. The staff were friendly and the hotel was easy to find and get to.
Staff was friendly and pool was great. Wish they had a hot tub but overall very nice. Staffing at the front desk seemed to be an issue but they were very helpful when they were available
I worked with Bobbi Borowski in the Sales Office to set up a block of rooms for my family to come to town for an event. Ms Borowski was thorough, professional and very very kind in helping me set up rooms, adding more rooms when necessary and keeping me updated on where we were at with bookings.
We all were happy with our rooms, the staff and service received while we stayed at the Double Tree.
Poor limo service that was prearranged. Very cold hallway. TV remote in two rooms would not work. Elevator light that was to indicate if elevator was going up or down did not work. Front unattended door would not lock behind you allowing free access to hotel to anyone in the parking lot. Management not very responsive to concerns that I communicated to them. No response to two different complaints to the desk, one email to manager, and even an email from their corporate office on my behalf. For a Double Tree it was not even you to the standards of a Hampton Inn. Maintenance had to be call to the "Presidential Suite" to tape the window to stop severe exterior cold air penetration.
Very nice conference rooms. I attended a trade show, did not stay at the hotel. Lunch was tasty, cold cuts and salads, although the beverage selection was limited. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and we'll maintained. The only concern I had was having to park in the rear but not allowed to enter the rear entrance, so I had to walk around to the front door in the cold and rain. Otherwise it was great. Loved the marbled rye bread served for the sandwiches!
We stayed in that hotel only for one night/canceled second night/ the hotel is ok but the indoor pool was freezing! Water was super cold! Just wonder why they keeping it open:) When I complained about it they were not helpful at all! Not satisfied with our stay there!
Older location and the rooms could use some updates. Price is right, and they have a shuttle to O'Hare. When all the hotels near O'Hare were booked, this was just a 20 minutes ride away.
Bathrooms are very tight, small , molded and outdated .Parking is good, view is good, but last morning I woke up with no power in my room, my cellphone almost died , no alarm clock, no TV. Breakfast was ok , but definately not worth $20.
Typical Hilton DoubleTree, the rooms and linens were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself needs to be renovated though. The first room I stayed in had peeling ceiling paint and wall paper. The second room ( a hhonors room) had a horrible bathroom smell. The bathroom itself was clean but when the neighboring room showered our room would stink. Bad plumbing maybe. The location is decent, the Japanese grocery store across the street was fun to visit and the commute to the airport and downtown wasn t too bad.
Lamp outlet at desk didn't work. Bathroom was filthy. Shower head and grab bar trim ring hanging off. Shower temperature controls are backwards. Hairdryer smelled like burning lint. You have to mess with the toilet handle to stop it from running. $10 for mini-fridge rental. T.V. was unplugged on the back of the device so I had to troubleshoot that when I got in. This place is not worth the money or the frustration.
I would never stay here again, reservations advised there was a hot tub and it was not. Staff did nothing to compensate for the huge inconvenience. The refrigerator smelled horrible in room.
6.3.2019 work set me up at this hotel. I am very happy with it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room, bathroom, and hotel are clean. I would definitely stay here again. 6.24.2019 work sent me hear while training in Chicago, yet again. I am happy with this hotel. Room, bathroom, and hotel are clean. There is a small gym, pool, and for lack of a better term, nature walking path around a small man made pond. The shuttle makes trips to the airport where you can catch the Blue line train to downtown. The shuttle also makes trips to the Woodfield mall & the Fashion Outlet of Chicago.
There is a restaurant / bar attached to the hotel. I did not eat there. There is a Denny's sharing the same parking lot and easy to walk to.
Ali is one of the front desk clerks. He said he remembered me from my last trip and continued with other pleasantries. All the staff I met were extremely friendly and helpful. I love that someone remembered me, if felt like I made a friend.
We were here for a trade show yesterday. Everything was wonderful! The hotel staff was amazingly responsive and accommodating!!! Thank you DoubleTree!!!
Good: +Front desk staff on the evening of 16 Nov were great +Take away breakfast sandwich (understandably no sit down because of covid) was great. Big portion with great home fries. Food was so hot I had to wait for it to cool down which I consider a very good thing as the food was clearly freshly made. +Water pressure was strong and water was very hot +Room was very clean +Bed was comfortable
Bad: -room was *very* drafty as was the room I stayed in last time I was at this hotel; this needs to be fixed
Other note: the quad head shower in the presidential suite is amazing.
