Don't eat breakfast here. We had breakfast buffet which didn't even come with juices. Rooms are ok standard. Location is very sketchy so be careful parking your vehicles at this property. But we did like the customer service.

Enjoyed the stay here, clean and friendly staff. Rooms could seem a little small.

Staff very friendly and attentive , especially in the restaurant & lounge... management needs to review their systems & processes, not enough staff at times, Breakfast Buffet good but no juice on the buffet although included on the menu. Wait staff had to get from the kitchen not very efficient for the staff or the customers. WiFi not as good as it could be, spotty at times sometimes worked other times not so good. Not what I expect from a Hilton Property.

Service is too worse. We booked 2 rooms and they also charged us for two but they are only giving us one room. Don t visit here.

Extremely rude front desk today. I am a person with more than 5 years experience in Tourism. I wish I had not seen that rude behaviour.

Clean and comfortable room but I had forgotten a shirt in the closet which I contacted the hotel but no one has found a shirt. The front desk didn't even ask me what room I stayed in, only that she would check the lost and found. I had a good stay but not impressed with the front desk.

Housekeepers were very loud at 8 in the morning. Credit card was charged without authorization where upon check in I was falsely told I wouldn't be charged until check out

Went there for May long weekend they failed to advise us that they were booked full with children's soccer teams. They were running up and down the hallway screaming, banging on the walls yelling until 11pm. The staff did nothing about it and were rude. We went there for a getaway hired a babysitter for the weekend just to go and deal with that. We had an awful experience at this hotel. We will never return to this hotel. If I could give it no stars I would!

Newly renovated, extremely comfortable beds. The included breakfast buffet is truly amazing! The staff was very nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Dining room closed early so we didn't get dinner. No signature cookie was offered. Thermostat in the room was broken so it was too hot in the room to sleep. The patio is nice at 5 am to cool off. Night hotel guy gave us free breakfast to make up for no sleep, so that was decent. Gentleman who runs the breakfast area was the most attentive and effeciant staff I've ever encountered.

Poor service, 2 hour wait for room to be ready at check in and buffet breakfast constantly ran out of food, coffee etc and with only one server working, it took a while to replenish

I went in for a meeting and ended up at the lounge. Service was wonderful and friendly. Their updated menu was great! Had the cheese platter, calamari fries (my fave!) and chicken pops - kudos to the new chef in the kitchen. Everything was delicious!

Rooms were very nice and clean, staff was friendly, but parking was not the greatest and we were not informed by the staff that there was extra parking in another lot. Would stay again though!

Nice property, terrible service/staff. I am a frequent business traveler, I have stayed at this hotel often in the past, with no real complaint other than the often slow and indifferent bar and restaurant staff. Booked and confirmed rooms, upon arrival learned that our requested and reserved room types had been given away and changed without our knowledge or permission. When confronted, Management claimed, '"well, if you were here earlier, we could have fixed it" Both front desk staff and the unkempt person who claimed to be the hotel manager showed little to no interest in "Making it Right" as their ample promotional signage offered. I realize that these days front line workers are terribly underpaid, and when confronted with all but the easiest of tasks, are poorly motivated to offer the extra effort to "Make things Right" This poor experience I lay not at the feet of the on site staff, but at the feet of the mid to upper level management who allow this type of situation to occur. Suitable and more pleasant accommodations were secured elsewhere, and it is unlikely I will return.

Staff vacuuming at 930 as I try to enjoy an expensive glass of wine in the lounge is very odd and not enjoyable. Staff are great but a few weird quirks to work out. I won't be back. Also no temp control in room. Staff awesome . issues all corporate. No thanks!!

Nicely updated with good location downtown. washrooms are small but upgraded. free breakfast is a plus and has a small fitness center with outdoor pool.

Stayed in their Junior Suite, the rooms were clean and the cookies were really good. Too bad the pool was temporarily closed for the season.

Here for a political fun rising event. Lobby and conference room in basement very good and well equipped.

Great hotel. Stayed here last week and forgot my winter coat in the closet. They shipped it back to my house quickly and I was surprised to find my digital camera inside as well.

Very good staff at front desk and especially the front desk agent Mr. Lovedeep Gill is very helpful and good in customer service and he offered us warm cookies, bottle of water. The all staff is very good recommend to stay here if you visiting.

I checked this location out as it had a better rate than the other Hampton Inn just off highway 5. Well worth it!! It's in a great location if you've something to do downtown during the day. The building is fantastic on its own. I love the little Hhonours notifications, such as on the elevator and as soon as you walk onto the 4th or 5th floors. The rooms were what I would expect from a Hilton affiliated suite. Great beds, good quality toiletries. Full length drapes. Nice tv's with good cable package. I didn't get to use my breakfast voucher in the local establishment unfortunately as I woke up too late. Parking can be quite tight too so be aware of that. Other than that, worth every cent!!

Nice, seems new or newly renovated mid level hotel. Arrived late and left early so didn't explore much. Room was small with two queen beds but was.clean with all fixtures working. Large screen TV, full length mirror on wall that I could see my head in (I am tall), coffee bar, small refig and safe. Bath is tiny by my standards, with only barely room for one person. Tub and shower combo, single sink. Good mattresses, linens and towels.

Very good service; helpful staff from the phone reservation to the concierge, to the housekeeping and restaurant staff. The restaurant breakfast buffet was tasty and inexpensive. The concierge offered us warm cookies that were delicious! Service staff assisted a party member who got locked out of his adjoining room by accident.

Have weekly meetings in both of their conference rooms. Staff are great, greeting you and doing everything they can to make your time there perfect.

The rooms are clean and the staff is very accommodating. The buffet breakfast is very good with a variety of different food choices.

Easy access to downtown and the highway. Room was clean, quiet, and dark without any annoying LED lights . First time I could say that for any hotel for all of those things. I will be back.

My second stay in 3 months the receptionist Lisa remembered my name and that my wife loved their cookies after a 1 night stay 3 months ago. Top notch customer service I recommend this place and I will be back.

We were greeted by friendly staff - our kids travel jitters satiated by cookies. Everything was fresh, modern and clean. The mattress was possibly the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. In my life. We were momentarily dismayed to learn the pool was outdoor, but both pool and hot tub were toasty warm, and we enjoyed several hours of watery fun. I really have no complaints - other than feeling a bit like it wasn't in a great location- perhaps a little sketchy.

I am reading other reviews and wonder if we were staying at the same hotel. The front desk was pleasant but other then that I would never stay here again. We stayed with a ball team from PG. The parking was horrendous. Not enough and then told to park on the street which was full, or the next lot that had homeless drunks in it. When I pay that much I expect a proper parking spot. The maid service.. ugh. They made the beds yes but left garbage lots of it, dirty towels , No TP and the floor was never vacuumed. For a Hilton I expect way better then that. If they can't clean the room properly I cant even imagine how well they clean it when we leave for good. Not saying its the maids faults, could be cheap owners/ managers of time. Breakfast was good but was not kept stocked as I expected and we had to literally go find our own silverware one day because they didnt keep any at the breakfast bar. Won't stay again specially for the rate our team received.

Very good: room was clean, service was excellent, TV was big, and location was close to a Dollarama (to replace forgotten cell phone charger)! Not giving 5 stars since the room want extravagant (no jacuzzi tub or anything crazy). Would stay again!

Let me start by saying , I would have given NO stars if I could but had to give one to post my review. I was Interviewed for employment here, Hired and Given a start date of about a month after my interview. I (having two jobs at the time) quit my one job to make sure to have the ability needed for the hours I was promised. Four Days before my start date , I was brought in to be told that they would be hiring a family member instead. Leaving me to try and find another job at the beginning of December. Thank you for hosting the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce event yesterday. The staff was accommodating, the facilities were adequate and the food/appies were tasty. This was the first time that I have been back to this hotel since it was taken over and renovated. The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Kamloops appears to be a great location to host an indoor event.

Positive: - Clean room Negative: - Small parking lot with limited parking - Hypoallergenic pillow was not comfortable (felt like old pillows) - Room had a strong fragrance that irritated me and kept me up all night. Cleaning products or room freshener? My husband wasn't bothered by it though. - No cookies! I was excited to stay here because of the cookies! Not the worst hotel I've stayed in, but I wouldn't stay here again because I need to sleep. I might stay again if they remove whatever fragrance it was that was in the room.

Staff was great!! Clean rooms, conveniently located downtown!

We were going to stay somewhere cheaper but really wanted to stay in the downtown area. We drove around before booking and some of the less expensive hotels had really questionable parking - it just didnt seem like a safe place to leave our car. So we found Doubletree and they had safe and visible parking right in front of the hotel. They gave us a great rate and we were really happy with the location and the service. We were surprised that the gym and pool was available - you had to book time for your family and they had very strict occupancy numbers. They aren't serving breakfast yet though so don't bother to add that on to your booking!

Room was clean, but shower was lukewarm as was the hot tub.

Pleasent check in. clean room. Pool was warm. Fitness room was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Would book again.

Staff unhelpful, bathroom needed a clean, and will never stay there again. Pathetic.

Extremely helpful staff, exceptionally clean rooms and great location.

Rooms are good, complimentary breakfast (always no food in the warmers) had to go out to eat if wanted breakfast, wifi works at times, but stopped working at times. Parking lot is too small, never a spot to park. Had to park on street and risk getting a ticket (all parking stalls on street are metered) Overall very average.

If you value what you have worked for ... Do not stay here cause the staff do not care! I woke up and saw damage all along side my brand new vehicle!! The general manager brushed it off and said he wasn't responsible as they don't have camera in the parking lot. It's 2020 how do you not have cameras to protect customers?? Needless to say I have contacted head office for the Hilton brand and they are looking at refunding me for the two suites we rented that night. If you value what you have worked for ... Do not stay here cause the staff do not care!

We ate at the restaurant. The food was fantastic i had the harvest sandwich. The service was great she was very friendly .

Great as usual. Gym was out of service but complimentary YMCA access was better anyway!

This is my go to place to stay when in Kamloops. The location is great and the rooms are always clean. The front desk staff remember me and make me feel like a VIP. They even give me water and a warm cookie at check in :) The kitchen and restaurant are okay.

Location is great, the price is reasonable for just an overnight stop. The front desk staff was super nice and even offered us bottles of water and warm walnut chocolate cookies. The hotel is updated, hallways are bright and clean, rooms and bathroom are modern and clean. There's also complimentary parking if you ask the front desk for a permit. I would highly recommend this hotel.
