Ok hotel. Look and feel is dated. New Wyndham affiliate. Air conditioning in the rooms doesnt work that well. Seems like an on going problem. Great location though. Easy walk to a number of good bars and restaurants.

It was a little packed when i went do to an event that was taking place at the time. But besides it being overpacked, the staff, the door helpers, the cleaners and all that were involved were great people.
It was nice that it was downtown and close to attractions. I liked that there were bars and restaurants attached as well if you need not want to leave your hotel.

The 1 star reviews that I just read were pretty spot on. I usually trust more of the 3 star reviews, but this is definitely an exception. We had a good deal, but we wished we went to a motel or something. The guy that had the review knocking off everyone else's reviews clearly hasn't traveled very much. I have seen better accommodations in a 200 population town and the local attraction is someone got a new shotgun.

My conclusion: stay at a motel 6 or something if you are looking for better accommodations.

Below is my summary:

Pros:
1. Centrally located right near downtown Springs

2. Lobby was fantastic and comfortable to hang out in.

3. A free family friendly movie was playing outside in the courtyard. They played "Guardians of the Galaxy" (good choice).

Cons:
1. The elevators are extremely old. We ended up on the wrong floor a couple of times and we went down instead of up a few times.

2. When we got there, we immediately noticed that they did not have any extra blankets and only 1 bottom sheet. We called them up and requested a couple extra blankets and a couple of sheets. The lady responded that we shouldn't call this line directly and dial 0 (when the number for room service was clearly printed on our brochure). They said it was on the way. 15 minutes later, nothing. I went down to the lobby and asked the lady at the front desk. She called it in and said that they are on the way. 15 minutes later, nothing. I called a THIRD time, and they said it was on the way. 15 minutes later, someone knocked on our door. If it is on the way it means it is on the way (my handicapped dad could move faster than them). If it will be there in about 45 minutes that means it will be there in 45 minutes.

3. Walls were dirty

4. Shower was pitiful and hardly any pressure (but then again old engineering and we were on the 12th floor)

5. If you have an East facing room be aware that the blackout curtains definitely do not stop a direct beam of sunlight at 5AM.

6. The extra blankets we got we riddled with burn markers and stains. (we ended up throwing them on the floor and were tempted to burn them as a favor to the other guests).

7. Parking is $37 a night (a definite rip off)

8. The alarm's buttons kept falling off

9. The window pane were loose and when the wind hit it, it made a continuous tapping noise... all... night... long.

Spending the last several weeks at the Antlers was a very pleasant experience, the rooms were exceptionally decorated and service was always eager to guide & help. If anyone I knew were going to Colorado Springs, I would recommend the stay there and experience the downtown atmosphere.

Business center is not functional for a professional. You MIGHT be successful printing a boarding pass. Other documents printer kept malfunctioning and front desk was unsuccessful in getting someone onsite to help. Front desk lacks customer service skills and ability to ensure help was provided.

To be fair I was there for a High School Senior luncheon. I felt they overpacked the room. The food was not worth $30 a plate. We were so packed in there that the wait staff had difficulty delivering the food. I have been there before for other functions and had no issue. This one was a little rough. I say that because the Antlers has high standards and I know they can do better. It won't keep me from coming back, but it was a bit disappointing.

I find myself frustrated as I write this review because there is so much potential for the Antlers yet so many obvious details overlooked that can't be ignored. We stayed here for a night as the location is within walking of downtown and has covered parking. The outside and lobby areas of the hotel are very nice and were decorated beautifully for Christmas. The bar areas were also very nice and inviting with an excellent selection of beers, wines and cocktails. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This is where you see a 5 star hotel. For the rest of my review, I would give the hotel a 2.5 star. My main gripe is with the quality of the rooms. We rented two rooms (one for my wife and I and the other for her parents) and got two very different results. Our room was split between two areas and while very spacious, they both fell lacking. The furniture was very dated and had burn holes in it (even though the room was marked as a non-smoking room). Most of this room was open but not laid out with any real purpose in mind. In the bedroom portion, there was only a nightstand on one side of the bed and the TV power cords and cables lay exposed next to the wall where they could easily be kicked/tripped on. The bathrooms were adequate but the doors to both lacked any sort of lock/privacy had you needed it. The second room was much nicer but also had the problem of feeling quite large yet under-utilized. There was easily room for a couch or table to make the room more inviting and comfortable. It's a shame because I really enjoyed the public areas of the hotel but would be hard pressed to recommend anybody stay in the rooms.

Lovely, old school charm with superb service, spacious and clean rooms! Can we talk about the best water pressure ever in the shower? It felt like a free massage! The location is also wonderful for access to all things, both business and pleasure, downtown!

I was expecting alot more from this hotel and after my stay I wish I would have gone with the old reliable Holiday inn. This hotel is costly after the parking charges and room service was anything but cheap... Very nice lobby though and beautiful holiday decor.

Stayed because it was walking distance to my training. Beautiful lobby and views behind the hotel. Room had Granny's old furniture-expected classic but this was just unstylish and old. Dresser was unusable since the door for the drawers wouldn't open because it was a foot away from the bed. That narrow aisle made me smash my little toe at 4am. A forgotten sock was living in the corner all week. Not my size anyway Bar was nice, bartender gave me samples of some Colorado bourbons, picked a good one and enjoyed it. This place has potential, hope it improves!

I rarely write reviews but after coming an hour before my event and it took me 45 mins to get checked in...initially, my keys didn't work, that happens, the entrance to the room was so tight that I could barely get the luggage cart through the door...then the air wasn't working they sent someone up (he was really nice) but basically he said that the filter needed to be changed and that they need to update the unit...next, the bathroom door was difficult to open and the guy said that it appeared to be off track and that I happened to get one of very few rooms that still had that door...so I had to go back downstairs to switch rooms, this room was much better---this time the air worked and the bathroom door actually closed...next, I called to see if I could have a late checkout due to a working lunch and the lady at front desk said that she did not have the authority to give a late check nor did they ever offer me anything for the near hour of my time that was wasted...lastly, the fire alarm went off and all of the staff was running around and we I asked they lady what was going on she said that she didn't know and no one could give me any information so I was confused on if we needed to vacate...for what they charged for the room ($225) to say that I am disappointed would be an understatement...horrible experience!

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding and occasionally stay here for a night away from home. Right in downtown, close to everything. Awesome views of downtown and the mountains. Historic hotel, which is neat but you can tell it s historic in some cases which is why I gave it 4/5 stars. Owned by the same company that owns the mining exchange hotel downtown which we feel is a little nicer (5/5 stars) than the antlers.

We had our wedding party stay here. I'm giving 3 s...

We had our wedding party stay here. I'm giving 3 stars because things ended up being ok but man was the beginning a mess! I had to go through this guy named Ray for my group block. He made numerous errors and caused an enormous amount of stress. These errors included:
1. Writing a proposal for the wrong dates then taking a week to correct the proposal
2. Spelling my last name completely wrong which created confusion with guests and staff
3. The link for my guests to book rooms through falsely told my guests there were no more rooms when there actually were, which resulted in guests having to call the front desk to book their rooms.
4. Arriving the day of my wedding weekend to find out I didn't have a room even though he confirmed I had booked one. I also had an email confirmation showing my room was booked so not sure what happened here. But definitely the last thing you want to hear on your wedding weekend.

This Ray representative was super unorganized and hard to communicate with. He created so many issues and so much stress. This was more stressful than planning my pandemic wedding! However aside from Ray I didn't think it was fair to rate 1 star when the staff was helpful and these actions aren't a complete reflection of the Antlers.

Once I was there the staff corrected the room issue and upgraded me, which was super nice of them! The rest of the weekend the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I just don't think I would use this hotel again for a large event because the amount of stress that was caused leading up to my wedding. I am grateful for the front desk employees who are such a pleasure to work with and the event director who called out to my guests that were having issues booking their rooms. These actions are the reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while in town for a wedding, and the reception was located at this hotel as well. The service was amazing. All of the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The lobby is visually stunning and classy, and the rooms were large and comfortable.

Parking is $17 a night but the hotel will reimburse you, just make sure to bring your ticket to the lobby before you leave! The parking garage was conveniently located underground and accessible via elevator. The pool was 24/7 which I thought was awesome! The area where the reception was located was beautiful and well decorated.

We ordered breakfast room service twice and it was delicious. They have several gluten free options. I ordered gluten free toast with poached eggs and bacon.

My only complaints were that the air conditioner in our room did not work well and it was uncomfortably warm all weekend. The front desk staff did however provide a box fan for us to keep it cooler, which was kind of them. Another complaint would be that the hot tub was closed, which was a huge bummer. Other than that, our stay was exceptional, I'd especially highly recommend it to engaged couples for a reception location!

Decent hotel with a good bar and a reasonable breakfast. My room showed a lot of signs of wear and tear, including a faucet that was oddly rotated, a shower head that moved and was not fully fixed to the wall. Not luxurious, but not bad either.

Friendly staff, small....very small room with barely enough room to walk between the foot of the king size bed and the dresser. Good location, close to downtown nightlife. Not very clean. All in all, it was "fine" for a one night stay.

This is a nice place. Excellent decore and setting. Better price than I expected and the front desk guy is great! His dinner recommendation for "The Rabbit Hole" is GREAT!! The beds are always. Strong point t for any hotel review I do, and these beds are great! I am smaller, and I love a softer top bed and I also like it when the rooms feel clean.
I like this hotel, maybe I will consider more Wyndham chains from now on, Usually I aim for Embassy Suites, but...

When you enter you would think you had entered a really nice and historic venue. Shortly thereafter you will be disappointed. Parking is $17. If you want valet, its $20. SVe your money, as the valet takes nearly 20 minutes to show. We booked a specific room, through the phone with an actual person. However when we arrived they pretended to have no idea and offer me some random room they supposedly just had made available for us. The spa is just a hot tub near the pool, no jets or controls. The rooms are tiny with a fridge and tv, nothing else. The bar and restaurants are over priced and poorly done. Breakfast is ok but bnb also expensive all things considered. Oh, and be prepared for a 20 minute walk to the pool. It's on the second floor and located through several hallways and rooms we could only assume are for dance parties or yoga that apparently weren't available during our stay.

Location is excellent, as well as the customer service. The rooms are completely outdated. Bathroom sink was cracked, the bathroom door was patched together and there was black mold? in the calk around the bathtub.

I have stayed in this hotel for nearly 20 years off and on. The stay my wife & I had last night was incredibly disappointing. Valet was great upon arrival however after going to dinner they never put my car back in garage... It was left out front all night. I asked front desk to take it to the garage which they said would happen, but never did. The TV didn't work in our room on arrival so we asked to have it fixed nearly 3 times. After several hours the tech said he didn't know what was wrong. I then asked to be moved to a new room and was allowed. We had a really difficult time reaching anyone at the front desk from room phone. The front desk seemed somewhat disengaged/unhelpful. After confronting management about our issues she was very rude and offered no solutions or apologies. After we said that we do, and will write a review (the mgr. told us not to threaten her with yelps) WOW! It's kinda sad because this was my place to stay two decades. I hope that the powers that be make this iconic hotel with deep roots in our community GREAT AGAIN!

Pool was closed for renovations. Did not disclose that at the time of booking.

Tried charging my card for the stay even though it was prepaid. Front desk said oh yeah, this happens, no big deal.

If you choose to stay here make sure you check your credit card for erroneous charges.
