Really great hotel. Beautiful facility, spacious modern rooms and parking available. Breakfast included wide selection of hot and cold items and beverages. Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would recommend to all and hope to return.

I've been here on few symposiums, the conference halls are modern and comfortable; overall service and restaurant offer is great. It's always nice to return...

Our experience started on a high with the warm cookies on check in and went down hill from there. This hotel would have been fine if we were solo business travellers staying for one night, but we made the mistake of extending our stay and and so the aggravations began.

Positives
The room was spacious and comfortable
Pool area was great
Breakfast ok

Negatives
Air con - every few hours our room key failed and the air con switched off. This involved frequent calls to reception, with lots of transfers to supervisors, and inane questions such as "have you placed the card in the slot?", which wore pretty thin after the 3rd air con failure.
This hotel is not child friendly - I asked about babysitting when I made my reservation. I was told this could be arranged at reception, so I booked an massage at the day spa. When I Called to confirm 4 before my appointment, I was told the babysitter was on holidays and they didn't know of any others in Zagreb(!), but staff suggested the day spa staff could assist by keeping an eye on my children during the appointment.

When I arrived at the day spa the 2 workers told me they were not connected to the hotel, and couldn't help. It wasn't busy, there was one person in the gym and no one in the pool. I suggestion perhaps they could put a dvd on for 30 min - no they could not do that , not their department.

Special mention goes to Jana from the spa who gets the award for rudest staff member, who singled out my friend, visiting Croatia for the first time, with her nasty behaviour. I was quite embarrassed .

Overall we were very disappointed with this hotel - please avoid if you have children,. But by all means stay if you like inefficiency, rude spa staff and being told "that's not my job" a lot .

Positive note goes to room service staff who were fab

Great hotel. Ideal for business-people. Meets expectations, but doesn t surpass them. The wow-effect is kinda missing.

Nice new hotel located in the business district of Zagreb. Stand out feature of the hotel is the full length pool and gym suite on the 10th floor, brand new equipment and a great view of the city. Food and Service are a really high standard, it is slightly too far to walk to the city centre but Taxis are cheap and plentiful.

The staff very friendly I made the hotel nice, clean and comfortable

The location was very good. They had a nice restaurant for dinner and the breakfast had all the basics with omelettes to order.

Really comfortable atmosphere to stay. Fine food and kind services. The restaurant has good music and nice workers too. No feeling of cheating or money oriented signs at all.

Nice hotel, good food and friendly staff. The only bad thing was limited Internet. Very bad for otherwise nice hotel!

Very nice hotel. Strangely still has a smoking floor so we could smell smoke from time to time. Otherwise clean and comfortable with an amazing view (New Year's Eve Zagreb fireworks), lovely pool with a view and a nice gym. Breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. The restaurant, however, is terrible. Have lunch and dinner somewhere else.

We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst on a city break to Zagreb. The Doubletree was predictably good with 2 cookies for me as Deb doesn't eat them and a free room upgrade and breakfasts for being Diamond members. The Hilton Honors scheme is certainly the best hotel loyalty scheme I have experienced.
Our room was excellent - a corner room with a separate desk area so I could go on the laptop in the morning without disturbing Deb. We had views of the lower city and the hills beyond the upper city.

Service was impeccable and the staff were excellent. When we return we'll certainly use the hotel as a base for day trips to see more of the country.

A wonderful lunch and dinner, looked after by Iva who who recommended food and the best of Croatia wine. So impressed by her knowledge and professional service. She is a real asset to double tree. Thank you.

Adequate in the hotel the restaurant is not worth it but it is a common problem in the area does not have much idea of how to offer variety and quality

Beautifully and modernly decorated hotel in a prime location. The service is phenomenal and the hotel level, fulfilled all my expectations. The food is also delicious. Hotel staff can only receive my compliments. We are definitely coming back again.

Friendly staff and clean hotel. Food was great and amenities are good. They have heated swimming pool and gym on the 10th floor. The only complain is the heated pool is still cold as it is set upto 25 degree only

Nice hotel with OK rates with spa and pool service.

Convenient location. Is easy to take the tram. Well the hotel is nice good and comfortable beds. Staff serviceable I liked the restaurant. Not too much the breakfast

In summer and vacation is not a good solution. Good for those who work next door.

After leaving the hotel today I have to say that the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet, good and plentiful. Our room, very large and spacious.
If the trainee had welcomed us more friendly at check-in, it would have been great. Hope this is better next time. Otherwise I think it's a clean and nice hotel.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The location, Midway between downtown and the airport is perfect for a one night stay in Zagreb. Love those cookies too!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff courteous and polite.
Breakfast was ok. There was everything that was right for us at least. Unfortunately there were no bathrobes and shoes in the room, so we had to ask twice until we got some.
In the spa area the pool could have been warmer, so we didn't use it, nor did other guests. The hot tub didn't bubble until we left after 2 hours. Annoying.
Nice for smokers, a separate heated room with service.

Definitely the best hotel for me,any time I m in Zagreb.. sometimes I stay even 2,3 days more just to enjoy there...and will always come back there.... Thanks to all DoubleTree by Hilton staff!

Nice hotel in the business district

Good hotel near the business district. Great restaurant.

Clean, modern hotel, close to the city centre and public transport. The rooms are spacious and the staff very polite. However, the wi-fi is unbearably slow and laggy, and the management has been ignoring this problem for years despite repeated complaints. For a 4* business hotel, this is the equivalent of not having running water or electricity.

Would be there 1 night at the Zagreb Advent ... the lady was overwhelmed when checking in, as nothing was prepared for the bus group

Wonderful city hotel, amazing staff! Fast elevators, underground parking and a nice bar are bonus. Room is so clean, quiet and comfortable, bathroom is very spacious and clean, city wiev amazing... Welness with swimming pool and spa is inviting you to relax... Breakfast is excellent, but best of all are employees. So nice, polite, smiling staff on each position (reception, welness, bar/restaurant, room service) and always ready to help you are really making the diffetence.

YES I WAS ON MY BUISNES TRIPP ,AND I WONT FORGET IT BECOUSE AT THE TIME WAS AN IMPORTANT FOOTBAL MATCH.Ofcourse i could watch it from my room as well but the the clerck told me if i wanna have some fun while watching and drink something with it i can do it in front of the hotel where they had a big flat screen and something to drink or some snacks.And thats exactley what i did i enjoyed whole night i even met one very young and attractive girl that was wishing me welcome etc.SO THERE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED AT THE PALM OF YOUR HAND YES I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO EVERYONE THAT GOES THAT WAY AND I CAN ASSURE YOU WONT REGRET IT FOR ME IT WAS PERFECT BUISNESS AND PLEASURE TIME SPENT SO AS I SAID I RECOMEND IT 100%.!!!!!

Very elephant and home automation, we almost bundled it with the elevator card, but very luxurious although we did not have time to try the spa.

The rooms are comfortable but the most pleasant surprise was the delicious food served in Oxbo restaurant. Staff speaks English and is very friendly.

Non-professional - with rooms with an unpleasant smell of smoke - and rooms that they forgot to tidy up - with a hasty and almost enough breakfast

I' ve been confused by experience.

Arrival (-) :
1st room given - annoying sound from the alarm system, hotel's employee spotted it, offered another room.
2nd room - 'awesome' smell from sewage, hotel's employee got it nearly without words, offered 3rd room...

Gym (+ +) :
Nice, a few treadmills, ok equipement, swimming pool. I ordered a sport massage for next morning and it has been very good.

Restaurant for dinner (+) :
Had a good dinner and service.

Restaurant for breakfast (- - -) :
Hugely disappointed, couldn't find what to eat, literally (I travel a lot and have moderate expectations, but that was below anything I've seen...).

Conference center (- - - - -) :
Even worst than breakfast. Ordered a room for a workshop. Informed before arrival I'm planning to be often in Zagreb and would need to see other rooms, so (yes, I am potential customer for a good upsell! Stupid me, it is my thoughts, not their). Result: literally no one appeared to greet me, to show our room, to check if all is fine. No one. After 2 weeks after session I received email with 1 euro additional charge for bottle of water, without even 'thank you, next time you're welcome to run workshop, etc' - ah, sorry, it is again stupid me asking to much from business whos target to sell.

May be not. They don't need to sell. They perhaps do not need anything apart of leaving them alone.

I'll seek smth else in Zagreb. Millions of euros invested to build a building, train people, pay them salary. Just to ruin by ignorance and laziness.

Modern hotel, very well looked after with usual range of facilities. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

Check in to check out everything was great, hungry at 10:00 p.m., the food was there 15 minutes later.
Spa and fitness area very nice.
Hotel to be recommended.
Ps: One star deduction, due to no strawberry juice for a 5 star hotel.

A dream of a hotel. Very nice staff, clean, great breakfast and great coffee. Nice lobby. You get all the information about Zagreb, this beautiful city with its thousands of sights.

I was in this wonderful hotel two days ago. The best hotel where I have been. designer rooms, comfortable beds I did not get out of bed in the morning.
Spacious bathrooms with all the amenities and even the presence of an ironing board with iron something never seen. An exceptional lobby with breakfast room and super modern bar.
Fairly central as hotels and most spectacular thing the tenth floor presence of swimming pool and gym with a view of Zagreb.

Comfortable and we appointed hotel, breakfast was a little disappointing.

I used only a conference room, which was ok. Otherwise it looks nice.

Everything is clean, settled immediately upon arrival, despite the settlement from 15.00. polite culture ....

The most amazing hotel in Zagreb, because it offers everything: great service, cleanliness, location, facilities and food. A true excellent value for money example!
