Dorint Hotel Dresden Review

Very clean hotel. Breakfast buffet with a large selection, eggs, bacon, etc. are freshly prepared in front of the guests. Unobtrusive and yet courteous staff. The only drawback: the price of the underground car park. But you do not have to book.

Room already a bit worn, sports room very small and by the location with indoor pool air. The rest, however, is good.

Hotel is centrally located, but the house is already getting old, I think the room rate is too high. I can recommend the restaurant.

Have spent 3 nights here. Breakfast was very extensive. Was included. Otherwise it would have been too expensive. Distance to the city center 10 minutes on foot.
Have rented bicycles. Ideal for use of the Elbe Cycle Route.
Small repair in the room took place after message immediately.
We would book again.

Right near the center and very nice staff. Breakfast is unique. Insanity's selection. Room for the price (deal over hrs) cheap. Baths unfortunately not brand new but clean and not small. I would book again.

Big hotel, great service. However, thin walls. I would not have expected this at a 4 star hotel

Very friendly staff, clean, tidy rooms, very rich and good breakfast buffet. After visiting the obligatory tourist destinations, which can be reached on foot within 10 minutes, you can relax in the spa area wonderfully.

We have been upgraded to a room with a newly renovated bathroom. The room is a good size and clean. There is Nespresso machine and water, even good night songs to wind up at the bedside table. Hotel has a bar and restaurant. The bartender was very friendly and asked if I would like a special gintonic. The restaurant is cozy. There are fresh baguettes with oil, butter and various things. The soup was delicious. Finally, I took a teapot and ice cream to my room, which also tasted great. Conclusion: we felt very comfortable the night, thank you!

The hotel is already getting old, but on departure I learned that this year the renovation should take place. Great staff. Everywhere very friendly and professional. With the bar menu you would have to change the time of the English text.

It's a cozy hotel. Nice room and the breakfast is fantastic. Enjoy the time being in here!

Good location, large rooms, decent breakfast, Wi-Fi a bit lame

The Hotel is really nice and very close to the city centre. The breakfast is awsom and rooms are clean and large.

Good transport links close to the old town. Friendly staff, good service. Breakfast is very good. Room is solid, if not brand new.

The hotel is in a great location. Directly at the Dresden Hygiene Museum and a tram station of the same name is also right in front of the hotel entrance.

My own stay was from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, the renovation of the leisure area was and is at that time, which will take until February 2019. Furthermore, all rooms are gradually being renovated.

The self-occupied, not yet renovated room was clean but especially the bathroom was in need of renovation.

The breakfast and dinner were always very good. The only downside was ordering the drinks. The staff had a hard time keeping track of new guests. The staff was also very friendly.

I can definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

Centrally located hotel - great for Dresden tourists

Unfortunately we had bad luck with our double room (# 230, 80 p.N.). We found strange hair in the bed and tub, there were dirty mirrors, stains on the toilet seat, shoe prints in the bathroom, dirty windows and an obviously used Zahnputzbecher (toothpaste stains). We have complained twice about these shortcomings. The second time we got a breakfast voucher deposited - very nice. Nevertheless, we were at the front desk, dirty toothpaste cup back to the room-still dirty. The third complaint was then simply ignored. The words are missing. We will not be back.

All around good service. Especially the front desk was friendly and helpful, even beyond the usual service.
Rooms were okay - standard amenities.
Swimming pool was cool and the pool was too small for us. But everything was clean and well maintained.

Mold in the bathroom and still water that was not properly closed was too expensive for such a place to stay

Nice hotel, good service, is 10 minutes to the old town and right outside the door is the tram stop and a great breakfast ... breakfast in the hotel for 20 euros per person I find exaggerated but everyone as he would like ... otherwise great

Good hotel as a base to explore Dresden. Very good bus and train connections. The sightseeing buses stop in front of the hotel.

I was invited to a company party. Service and buffet were excellent as well as the chef's grilling skills. A wonderful evening.

Unfortunately it was not possible to move into the room before 3pm. Furthermore, the pool was tiny and cold and the sauna just closed at Easter. The breakfast was very good.

Despite renovations on floors 3 & 4 there is a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Breakfast was fantastic. Coffee machine, large shower and modern furnished rooms.

The Dorint Hotel is not a recommendation. The food insufficient the coffee cold.

LIGHT & SHADE during our visit as a family in late August (3 nights, 2 kids, 2 adults) ... HELL was: friendly and competent people at the front desk & in the service of the restaurant, tiptop room cleaning, rooms overall clean. Breakfast varied and it was thought along (lactose-free food, sugar-reduced jam for diabetics, etc.). TRUE was: partly "wesch" in the meeting at some point in the staff, "bustle" by construction, closed pool (in our booking not quite "so" clearly highlighted), in the restaurant hooked at the family dinner in the evening with grandma and Aunt the quality behind the prices (and ingredients in the food are forgotten and must be inquired etc.). And let's face it: a full 16 daily allowance for parking? In the Altstadthotels in better situation maybe OK, but here? All in all, we have stayed at our holidays in DD with 4 stars in total already better ...

A good address if you want to find friendly and helpful service. The rooms are great! Short way to the impressive city center of Dresden. Unconditionally recommended.

This is our second visit to this hotel and certainly not the last one.

Just a very nice hotel. Very nice rooms, a very pleasant bar and also the breakfast brings a very good selection and quality with it. The staff of the front desk is very friendly and always helpful.

The hotel is very central. I always book this hotel through HotelDeals when it's in the deal. D is my hometown and as it is, the hotel also helps. Very nice reception and service staff. The rooms are very clean only the bathtub I would like to exchange for a shower. The breakfast is rich and is always filled up. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Had a very bad experience there.
A 4 stars hotel with no AC in the rooms, no parking and a very very bad attitude from the employees and the manager.
I left the hotel after staying just 1 night out of the 2 I ordered and still they did not want to refund the charge for the second night. For the price that they are charging you can definitely find a much better hotel.

Commendable are the large rooms and the cleanliness. The breakfast buffet is large and rich.
Negative are the parking fees of 16 euros. I am a hotel guest and must also pay the 16 euros, as you could meet the guest a bit.
The ladies from the front desk were nice, but the gentleman was curt and came over a bit annoyed. Otherwise we had a nice stay and will gladly come back.

The Dorint will be renovated by 2019, we knew that and we understand that. NO understanding we have for parking fees of 16 per night. From 22:30 clock NO room service, Pringels at the front desk for 5,50 !!!! At 7:30 o'clock the toilet makes noises, afterwards the bath was under sewage. Great smell, in which the appetite for breakfast passed us! It was taken care of immediately, with towels and wet vacuum. An alternative room was not available, so NO shower (in the bath) NO toilet !! So: express check out. The nice lady wanted us out of goodwill the breakfast (which we did not use), on my insistence also the parking fees were canceled. So 80 cut out for ne sewage booth, SUPER !!! The hit, our room was not the only one affected. How can one forgive rooms in a hotel to be rehabilitated, where you probably know the problems can make. Affected was room 202. A culinary settlement would have looked different, but this rating would not have affected !!! You will NEVER see us again - FINGERS OFF ROOM 202 or nearby !!!

We had wonderful days with you, all staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a highlight every morning. The hotel is in a great location, so close to the center so you can reach very much on foot. If it takes us again to Dresden, we look forward to staying with you.

Great hotel, service very good and delicious breakfast. At the beginning of 2019 the new sauna and wellness area was inaugurated and on Thursday, the 7th of March, the new breakfast hall follows.

We were in the period of 8-11.7.2017 in this beautiful hotel.
We have already made many city breaks, and I have to say it was the best hotel so far!
Everything is right in their hotel, as it is delivered by them.
Small mark is really only the the 15 pounds that it is taken for the underground parking a day.

Room was clean, only the silicone edge of the bathtub, could be renewed. Friendly staff and plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. One point deduction for excessive fees at the pitch. There should be a small discount for hotel guests.

Very friendly staff, good food and quiet. Unfortunately a bit out of the center but not everyone can be there.

Class breakfast, building a bit older, but this does not stand in the way of a pleasant and high-quality stay. I will gladly come back.
