Dorint Hotel Dresden Review

Nice place for a business trip. Spacious rooms and good breakfast.

Very nice big room. All clean! Breakfast buffet is perfect, nothing is missing. Staff is nice and attentive. We felt the 3 days very well.

I've been living here for 3 weeks (montage ...) and can only say good things about hotel and cleanliness.
The hotel restaurant, however, is forgotten. Ordered "Original Wiener Schnitzel" - was baked in vegetable oil.
Demand (over the waitress) at the cook has revealed: He / she / has read that is fine - and he h has a piece of butter at the end.

Central, close to the old town, Zwinger, Frauenkirche but also shopping - everything is possible on foot.

Decor is outdated and worn. Lunch and dinner not possible. Breakfast buffet is very good. Staff is very friendly.

The Dorint makes it really easy to summarize. The word "plushy" hits the spot.

Even the smell when entering the lobby is plush. I don't know exactly what smells so characteristic. Not unpleasant, kind of like a patina and slightly sweet. In any case, a lot of classic and high-gloss cherry wood everywhere. They are already working on the more modern and have furnished the lobby with cubic armchairs. But deep, heavy armchairs can also be angular and plush.

And the rooms could hardly be classically pushier. Red carpet, heavy curtains and shiny cherry wood again. Personally, I always have to ventilate a room like this immediately. But everything is quality, clean and the beds are tidy.

The breakfast is plentiful and adequate. Only the station where eggs are prepared on request urgently needs a better hood. The clothes then smell very much like fried food.

All in all, you can spend a few nice days here. Even more because you are only a few steps away from the magnificent Dresden sights.

Have booked a room with extra bed. Our son has a large lawn . Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Can just be recommended.

Our stay at the Dorint Hotel Dresden was great. Its location is excellent. All the staff were attentive and helpful. The environments are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is note 1000. Best wishes to all. We will recommend it with pleasure.

Great service, delicious food, everything was great

The hotel was not my first choice to be honest. But was the only room left at Christmas time. I did not look at it on the internet before but just telephones all hotels. The staff was very nice and friendly on the phone. When we got there I was amazed at the central location with underground parking for the cars, the staff was on site with one of the friendliest I have ever met in hotels. The reception was fun, the hotel is really nice and the rooms are great! What smiled on me was the Smoking Lounge. Finally, do not freeze outside! And the blast, the cocktails taste, and checkout is only at 12. But that's not the highlight. Even breakfast is until 12 !!! So dear Dorint Hotel, you have moved up to number 1 in my personal ranking list and Dresden has become an enchanting place for me! My family and I love to come back !!

The basement is currently under construction and construction noise is heard throughout the house. The lunch deserves only a 3. As the staff should be trained.

Nice big enough room. Well furnished. Good beds, slept well. Location is ok. There is public parking in the vicinity.
The night porter, who was on duty from September 1st to 3rd, 2020, showed particularly good service in terms of attention and friendliness.

Caution is advised. The cleaning staff can not distinguish mine from yours. Take good care of your belongings.

Very good hotel, breakfast with 20 euros per person rather usury, for this reason not again. Not far from the old town.

Service was bad, although agreed when ordering, no room was available for me and I had to wait over 2 hours! The two ladies at the front desk were very overbearing and rude, as I have not had in a long time in hotels in Germany !! As a result, I only had a few hours to sleep as a train driver. There will be no room order by my company in the future !!

Very good hotel near the old town. In my view, the currently applicable Corona hygiene measures are implemented excellently. I also had two dinners as part of the "Short Vacation in Dresden" arrangement. Kudos to the kitchen. The three-course menu was excellent. The staff are all very friendly and courteous. Gladly again!

Hotel is undergoing renovation, was drilled in the early morning on Sunday at 8 clock in the morning. You could not sleep in peace. For a very delicious breakfast.
