Very very good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet for everyone to eat, beautiful spa area, for a city break very good location only 10 minutes to the old town. On recommendation of the front desk the Dorint Card requested and for better room, room and bathroom very spacious and clean, this hotel would recommend at any time.
A very centrally located hotel, the old town can be reached on foot in less than 15 minutes.
Parking is available directly at the hotel (for a fee).
The reception at check-in was super friendly. We felt really welcome.
The hotel is very clean and tidy. Also sauna and pool area. This is spacious and really relaxing.
Breakfast was delicious. The selection appeared to be clear at first, but on closer inspection it was absolutely sufficient. Everyone will find something there.
There is a star deduction on the room allocation. When we booked, we were shown a completely different equipment (as far as the state of modernization is concerned) than was then the case in reality. It is certainly at the discretion of the hotel, but advertising should still be important. Also on external booking portals.
But otherwise we were satisfied and will definitely be back!

Excellent care, both in the hotel and restaurant, staff excellently trained and attentive! Room clean and equipment acceptable. Location is good, you can all sights (for example Semperoper, Frauenkirche) also on foot. Only a free parking lot is missing (underground parking at the hotel 16 Euro / day, sand parking behind the hotel 7 Euro / day). Definitely recommended for a stay in Dresden!

The location of the hotel for a city break fits. Many sights can be reached in a few meters. All the staff are very friendly. The breakfast in buffet form! despite Corona was very good.
However, there is a point deduction for WLAN. It is simply barely or not there. With 4 stars it should be STANDARD. The rooms facing the street are too noisy when the window is open. Therefore only 3 stars from us.
Location: not so far away from gorgeous historic centre with tram connection in front of the hotel (but it's only 2 stations away - a walking distance).
Rooms: large and clean as usual in Germany. No outside blinds but internal ones can be set properly so that little light is coming in.
Breakfast: gigantic selection of eggs, cereals, bread, croissant (should use real butter rather than margarine), juices, etc.
Internet connection: the only negative experience here as it's not free i.e. included in the price. You're not in US but maybe they will realize some days ...
Price: unfortunately we were there during Kirchentag so that prices were rocketing high but cheaper under "normal" circumstances.
The hotel can only be recommended.

Bad smell in the bathroom. Old building correct breakfast but nothing that makes us think it is a 4 stars hotel. It is a correct 3 stars max!

Super friendly and helpful staff, functional and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast with everything your heart desires. The location is also very good, most of the sights are within easy walking distance, tram stop right outside the door. Unfortunately, some traffic noise cannot be avoided, it is a big city.
We especially loved the beautifully designed breakfast table for our son's birthday, he was very happy.
We would love to come back anytime.

Unfortunately has no air conditioning (were there at 36 degrees outside temperature). There was only one room ventilation. The hall was cooler than the room. Also, even the rooms in the back are very noisy.
Breakfast was worth 5 stars. There was everything. Alone 5 kinds of milk.

Spacious rooms with dated bathrooms. After informing the front desk, who took care of my concerns in a friendly and quick way, the rooms are to be renovated gradually and the bathrooms are equipped with a shower.

Ideal starting point for strolling in the old town - on foot 5-10 min, city tour by bus is highly recommended, directly in front of the hotel is a stop, ticket at the front desk available (Hopper ticket valid from 9-17 o'clock you can get off at each stop and continue with the next bus), lockable bike room, bike path Elbe within 5 minutes by bike, bike rental possible, nice spa area, great breakfast; Hotel Wi-Fi worked perfectly in the room.
On another visit to Dresden, we would stay at the Dorint again.
We were here at the Dorint Dresden four times. As always, we were very satisfied. Very nice staff, great breakfast, top service.

I've stayed in this hotel for 8 days and want to get property that I've forgotten and the front desk tells me that I should never have been in the hotel, which is a lie for liars since you just give back my property. Criminal charges are filed. Forensics is sent on Thursday

Great hotel. Football stadium right around the corner! Unfortunately, it was built there at my time. (Spring 2019) the food was delicious, with us there was always buffet. Dad room was small but nice. The parking garage is easily accessible behind the hotel and relatively large. A few hundred meters from the hotel is the Dynamo Dresden football stadium. The location of the hotel is really great. You can walk to the monuments if you are not 80 years old. Shopping opportunities are in the area. In front of the hotel is a busy road, but you do not notice at night. On the whole, I'm convinced of this hotel and look forward to a next visit

The guest must provide himself with drinks, there is also no room service for it.
The general condition of the room and bath left to be desired, carpet very dirty without shoes not accessible.
The bathroom could use a disinfecting basic cleaning.
I can not recommend it as a 4 star hotel.
The best hotel ever !!! Never stayed better !! Have almost everything on demand there. Super great breakfast buffet, even with freshly made scrambled eggs and bacon .... and individually made omelets .. next time in any case again the dorint chain in any city !!!

Nice hotel centrally located. The staff are friendly. I had a room on the third floor. It was clean and had a nice bathroom with a shower.
There is a small swimming pool with a sauna area around the basement.
The food was very tasty, a fitness room would have been helpful. Unfortunately, it wasn't finished yet. We were kindly allowed to take a look at it. Thanks again for that. It will be a great gym for sure.

Repetition not excluded! After we stayed in other hotels in Dresden over the past few years, we "came back". And the surprise at breakfast, we have recognized long-term employees! Unfortunately, this is not the case in many hotels.
We did not miss the renovation and refurbishment work in the hotel. The first results are now visible in the sauna and swimming pool area. Nice loungers and new tiles. Unfortunately we didn't have a renovated room yet. But we were able to take a look at a new room. Fancy! We look forward to the next investments. The main entrance doesn't look good. Whether it's the old superstructure or the board wall to the left of the entrance.
Overall, the breakfast is good and varied. Rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly!
We see the room staff critically who come into the room very quickly (was on the toilet), and on the day of departure at 8 a.m. asks whether they can make the room. This quickly gives the impression that they want to get rid of us.
But: we will definitely come back again.
The hotel has a good location and a short walk to the old town, the rooms are very clean and well furnished. The only small complaint I have to the spa area. Unfortunately, there was no drinks dispenser in the sauna area (free water), which I otherwise knew from other hotels with a spa.

Getting on in years, but rooms are spacious, everything is very clean and the food is excellent.
Unfortunately the fitness center is still not open and it will certainly not be open for the next few weeks. On the other hand, shockingly little is being done on the construction site.
I am often there for work and therefore enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offers everything your heart desires and the rooms are cozy and clean. I'm looking forward to testing your new fitness area soon :-) Best regards to the great conference team

As part of a city break we were here. Is not far from those sights, so about 10-15 minutes then you are in the middle of the action. Rooms are okay and the breakfast buffet offers a good selection.

As a conference venue very pleasant. We were a group of about 25 people, but was generous space in the meeting room. Very good supply of snacks, lunch and drinks.
Currently the wellness area is being renovated. Start drilling and hammering this morning at eight o'clock. Very good hotel.
