Dorint Hotel Dresden Review

Very comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast, and staff were very helpful. The location is central, with a tram stop right outside and easy walking to the Altstadt and restaurants.

For a family with children a perfect hotel. Great location and very good service.

The service here is outstanding! The breakfast one of the very best we have seen both quality wise and how everything is presented and served. Together with a smile from the alert staff and "Gute Morgen" text in the eggs :-)

Hotel is good. Price performance through a HRS deal top. Breakfast very good. Service very good. Unfavorable ... Sauna on Sundays too. Swimming pool a bit longer. Good restaurants in about 10 minutes in the city .... straba stops in front of it. My air conditioner did not quite respond, but ok. With such an hrs deal def. to recommend...

Modern looking hotel in which all areas make a chic impression.
The rooms including the bathroom are very spacious. The rooms are comfortable with a cozy sitting area and tastefully furnished. Due to the location on a main road, the rooms are not quiet, unfortunately there is street noise, as well as the noise from the neighboring room. Unfortunately everything is very noisy.
The hotel has a large conference area. Unfortunately, the rooms are clay and due to columns in the middle with poor visibility and poor section.
Restaurants, meals and other catering are delicious.
Unfortunately there was no information in advance that the spa and wellness area is closed for renovation work.
For the location near the city center, the price level is great.
I have never seen such attractive and reasonable prices for drinks from the minibar in any other hotel in the world, great, because the beer tastes much better!

Highly recommended. Good work hotel ... That was 2 years ago. This time, shortly after the borders (Corona) were opened, the picture changed completely. It is clear that there are Corona measures and that lead to restrictions, but it is a decision of the hotel management to shut everything down completely. 1 employee at the Reze, 1 employee at a practically closed bar. No smoking room, no eating or drinking after 9 p.m., I didn't even want to make a toast after I arrived from Vienna at 10 am to 9 pm in full. Room cleaning also not (do you want a room cleaning? Now we have to hire someone special? !! .... What kind of question is that?) No minibar (because the guests constantly cheat the hotel and fill the drinks with water) and only against payment (because corporate customers are all broke now because of Corona) ... ??? !!! And all from a giant hotel group. I am speechless and that was definitely my last stay in Dorints, Steigenbergers, or other shops. From now on, I only support private and small entrepreneurs with my company, at least they are looking forward to the customers again.

We were greeted very friendly at the reception. General Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms and good breakfast. The location is great. We would like to book again.

The hotel is a bit old. The rooms are clean and tidy, the mattresses much too soft. However, leaving the window open at night is not nice on the busy street. An air conditioning is unfortunately not available. The prices are not quite justified, but I would have expected the underground car park included. The daily price of 15 euros is too high. The bar is chic, the whiskey prices a bit too extreme.

I believe a hotel we go to have a good sleep, imagine you are told its double bed room and the beds there are single bed which is attached which are moving beds.
The bed sheets/Blankets are single bed sheets/Blankets which can not cover you properly unless you sleep on one side and you make no move otherwise one part of your body will freeze.
What is so funny with this hotel is that when you check in you will be given a bottle of water to wlecome you so that you come back again.
Otherwise its clean and the staff are well organized except one whom i think he was a kind of recist and when i say he i mean he.

Renovation needed, old furniture, no air conditioning. Cheaper parking nearby. Sundays / holidays free. Underground parking in the hotel is too expensive. Good breakfast, but not really cheap. I will not stay here anymore.

It is advertised with a pool which is not open for renovation. The decor is very old. The location is OK.

Very nice hotel not quite in the heart of the Dresden city center. But very close to the Saxon Construction Bank, the Hygiene Museum and the Dynamo Stadium. Since we were only a short time to meet someone, no statement can be made about rooms and prices. The lobby and toilets were very clean and tidy.

Thank you for making it a nice weekend getaway even in times of Corona restrictions. In the lobby and reception everything was ok. Breakfast with breakfast parlor and coffee, coffee specialties, scrambled eggs and a lot more, Crossiants and tea, friendly staff, very happy again. Good location near the old town, the Elbe and shopping as well as the zoo, within easy reach of the glass factory and the hygiene museum, tram in front of the entrance, quiet room despite the street location.

Very nice hotel room. Clean and tidy as you would expect. The gastronomy is top class. The staff always attentive and friendly. The spa area is also impressive. I would love to come back and can recommend this hotel without reservation.

Old but gold. The house is certainly not the newest. But the warm and friendly staff more than make up for it. Rarely experienced such a thing in a hotel.

Meeting rooms are the usual standard. There are no real storage facilities for bicycles, except one is overnight guest or friendly service opens the exceptionally the storeroom.

Recommended! Very good traffic connection! On the doorstep is a SBahn station. Well located between downtown Frauenkirche and Co and the stadium or the zoo.

Fitness room and swimming pool left a lot to be desired.

Our stay in the hotel was comfortable and breakfast spread was appropriately selected, but certain things were off from a 4 star hotel standpoint. The in-room amenities like soap, make-up wipes etc were almost finished, indicating the room was not properly readied for the next guests. Their hotel guide- book mentioned we could get all extras from the front desk but 2 for a pair of disposable room slippers came quite as a surprise!

Very nice hotel very close to the old town. The rooms are good for a 4 star hotel. The wellness area is okay, but nothing special. But the breakfast is really great :). Staff is nice and you should definitely visit the bar in the evening. And the price is really fair for the performance offered. Actually, I would like to give 4.5 stars, but unfortunately that does not work.

Very good location if you are traveling as a tourist. The city tour double-decker buses stop in front of the hotel and can also be booked there. Then for the whole stay at the daily rate.
Very friendly staff. Rich breakfast buffet, can be taken on the terrace when the weather is nice, which we really enjoyed.
Small drops of sadness were the already a bit worn bathrooms (joints and seals with mold and mold). On the other hand, I have rarely seen an accommodation with such good water pressure. A lot of water came out of the shower and not 3 drops in 5 minutes,
as is often the case. Tip: book rooms on the upper floors which, according to the employees, have already been renovated.

Great hotel in walking distance from the city center. Friendly staff. They are fairly good at English.
It was a bit annoying that when making the reservation there was no information that the pool was under construction and we already promised the kids a swim.
The rooms are spacious and even though there is a big road right outside, the noise is canceled completely out.
The breakfast buffet has everything you can desire and the quality is high.

Room was ok, no longer up to date. Reception and the bartender Phillip was really fine and nice. The sauna area was closed at three in the afternoon and could not be used. When then?
It's a shame, the overnight stay costs money.
