We've traveled the world, and this might be the very best hotel we've ever stayed at - especially for families. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and I believe it's included for free with every room. Stay in the original section though. We were "upgraded" to the luxury villas halfway through our stay, and actually enjoyed the original room more, as the original section has more mature landscaping, better view of the sea, more individual character, and better location to parking and restaurant. Beach is more like a lake beach, and nowhere near as good as Florida/South Carolina beaches in the U.S., but that's not what we came to Crete for. Loved the coffee machines in the room too! Can't wait to come back next summer
