This is the best place to take any MAC related devises. They are always pleasant and helpful.

If I could give no stars I would. I dropped my new macbook pro off because it wouldn't turn on and I was told to expect a call in 3-4 days. 5 days later I still don't hear back and decide to call the store. The guy who answered the phone gave me multiple updates, all of which I should have been made aware of, but was not. He then proceeded to lecture me on how I should be supporting local businesses and that I should bought my laptop from their store in order to keep them "existing" for future problems I may have. Living in Irvington, I am a very big supporter of small businesses, but that is no way of promoting a business or representing the local small business community. I am taken aback and in shock by how rude and misinformed I was. I would rather "waste my time going to apple" than coming here.

Thanks to Dr Mac. I bought my 2009 iMac in and it was dead.. I expected to pay a lot .. I was reassured that everything would be ok and it was so inexpensive to fix.. I am happy to have them as a local business that I can trust and that is worth the money.

Last year my MacBook pro pretty much died and was irreparable, I wasn t in a position to go buy a completely new one and they offered me a refurbished MacBook Pro for a fair price and were extremely kind enough to transfer all of my files and everything from my old MacBook. Very friendly staff and great looking store! Much more convenient going here than the apple store in The Westchester mall. Thanks for the help, still using this MacBook almost an entire year later!! Much appreciated and 100% recommend to everyone!

This place is absolutely fantastic! Writing this review is the first thing I'm doing with my newly repaired macbook pro. The service Doctor Mac was able to provide was fast, quality and miles ahead of what apple and the genius bar can provide. The staff and owners/managers were a pleasure to work with, and they were able to help me save an enormous amount of money on my repair.

Emails regarding the status of my repair were always answered promptly, and getting someone on the phone was always easy too, both before and during the time they had my computer. Apple can't even come close to the kind of personal service they provide. They don't seem to check their voicemail very often (who does though....) so if no one answers the phone, call back in 5 minutes and you'll get someone, and more importantly an answer to your question. Try doing that by calling apple care and see how far that gets you.

Overall I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I brought my 2011 MacBook Pro in for a diagnostic. I had a grey screen at startup. He looked up my laptop s serial number and informed me that this particular one was known to have this issue.

He then proceeded to get very dismissive and had ZERO interest helping me, even after he did admit that there had been some success in fixing these. He basically told me that it was so old that it wasn t worth fixing.

Isn t that the point of a diagnostic? Isn t that what this business is set up to do? Isn t the customer supposed to make that decision? After getting the feeling that he did not want to be bothered, there was no way I would have left my computer there.

What an unfortunate waste of my time.

The guys that work there are amazing, they helped me out so much.They worked with me and fix my screen on my computer. Saved me a lot of money, and they were so kind. I would definitely recommend them to people.

Amazing, customer-oriented service. I brought my malfunctioning laptop to James at Doctor Mac on a Friday. James was very kind and understanding and worked hard to resolve the issue. He called several times during the process to keep me informed of what he was doing, and had my machine in better-than-ever condition by the next afternoon. For all the trouble they went through, the speed of their work and the emotional pain they saved me, the price was very reasonable.

Dr. Mac is a great local resource for purchasing and servicing your Apple products. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the store environment is inviting and very "apple-esque". Having a resource like this in our area is invaluable - not only because they are closer than the nearest Apple Store, but at times they better equipped to help with your problems. Especially if you have some older, still functioning, Mac hardware! Except for the iPhone, they offer the full, most up-to-date line of Apple Products, including the iPad. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

DoctorMac has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion! Including today, a week away from law school finals, when my 2009 (unbacked up) MacBook Pro completely crashed in the middle of class. Panic set in but I knew DoctorMac would be able to help! I dropped it off with the guys around 1 p.m., afraid that the best option for my ancient machine might be data recovery at that point. They initially quoted to have the issue identified within two days, which I was still at ease with. But amazingly, by 3 pm, my laptop was up and running again, including the class notes I was in the middle of when it crashed! I cannot thank these guys enough for saving my day (and semester!) Thank you for being a reliable, professional and fair business!

Great first time experience! They replaced my failing hard drive and were able to transfer all of my stuff back over! I did not lose anything and got my computer back in 1 day! Highly recommended !

I m sad to say given all the positive reviews that im pretty unhappy with the service I've received so far.

My expectations were high and after receiving my repaired macbook pro after just a few days on friday, I was more than satisfied with my experience. Until I got home and it wouldn't turn on.

I went in for an issue with my display, and at no point in the 3 weeks that it had not been working properly had I had any issues with power up, its battery in general or any other issues. I called this morning about it and came in a few minutes after they opened. After explaining the situation I got a suggestion that this might be a seperate issue, which sounds super unlikely considering it wasnt an issue until I brought it in -_-.

I was hoping that i d atleast get a call today with some information considering it seems very likely that the issue was caused by whatever repair had taken place. Im a full time student and require my computer for work. Sufice to say this has become a super disruptive Inconvience.

I understand that sometimes issues can come up after you ve been tinkering inside a laptop, but my main issue is that I don't feel like the issue was addressed well or in a way that offered consideration to the fact that this issue seems to be DoctorMac s fault. Overall a good experience that went sour. I just want my laptop back as soon as possible.

After being reached out to by DoctorMac I ve decided to amend my review more favorably because I appreciate the proffesionalism and courtesy. My review was written in haste and while I stand by my opinions, it is in better taste to write reviews after a service has been completed.
